The resort was nice pool great beach right by pool view from room fantastic

I particular liked the ambiance and view from my room. It was very comfortable and like the fact that the rooms were self contained which prevented over priced spending at the cabana. Like that the fact that their were activities that the hotel organise to entertain the guest. I particular likes the access to transportation and eating options at the near by restuarants.

The check-in time is too late and the check-out time is too early. Most people who travelling for vacation will take an early flight in and to wait until 4pm to check-in is ridiculous especially when you just arrive and do not know the bearing of the place as yet. Despite this my front desk attendant was very accomodating.

We were upgraded to a bigger room and were pleasantly surprised by the Royal Palm. The room was more of an apartment and we had an excellent view. We only wished we could've stayed longer.

The location was very good, the entertainment and the "entertainers" at the pool area were great, size of the 2- bedroom apartment, ocean view, nice and comfortable bed.

When we read the signs not allowing the reservation of palapas for more than one hour we thought it was really fair, but during our 9 day stay we noticed that many people ignored the signs because nobody (from staff) would actually take the guests personal items from the chairs as the signs said they would, so all the palapas were very early "reserved" and when we went to the beach in front of the hotel we could see that these guests disappeared for 2, 3 or more hours and left their stuff there since they knew that they could come back later and have the place saved. We also think the apartment could be cleaned more often.

Excellent room with great faciities. Stayed for just two nights but wish I had been able to stay longer. I had one of the ocean view rooms, which had some great views. The kitchen facilities were excellent and there were plenty of local supermarkets near by and so it was easy to buy in breakfast and lunch. Would be more than happy to stay at this hotel again in the future. I enjoyed the island of St Maarten and this hotel is on the Dutch side, with lots of local bars and restaurants close by.

I like the location, the apartment, the beach. It is generally in the ideal location near to all the restaurants and easy access to taxis

The check out time is to early

We were very delighted at the size of the unit we were assigned to--a 2 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront! This hotel is within walking distance of many fine restaurants in the Simpson Bay Area. There were views of the lagoon and surrounding mountains from the entrance balcony and the ocean and pool from the unit balcony. We have travelled to St. Maarten for the past ten years and have always passed this resort. We will try to stay there again next year!

Good location, plenty of free parking, good-sized apartments, good selection of shops and restaurants nearby. Try Lee's Roadside Grill, and the Yacht Club, both just across the road from the hotel.

Staff could be more attentive. We reported a problem (broken door) on arrival, and it still hadn't been fixed (or even looked at) a week later when we left. Faster and more widespread wifi would also help. It is only available in the lobby, and the signal is not great, particularly when there are 20+ people crowded in there trying to use it. High- pressure timeshare sales pitches from people who appear to be hotel staff was also an irritant.

Location and -sometimes- friendly staff.

Cleaning schedule is not sufficient. And if they "forget" to show up, the place becomes a mess with all the sand around. We requested 4 times to clean, "of course, sir", but no action.

Location of Royal Palm Beach Resort is terrific--close to the airport, and many different, good places to eat are in walking distance. View is wonderful and beach is right out the door. Shops are in the complex where groceries, wine, and liquor can be purchased. Best croissants on the island are made in the local grocery store. There is also a great Jewelry store, Splash, on location that has many unique items.

The beach can be better as far as the sand goes and some of the rocks removed from the water.

Hving to go to lobby to use wifi..should have it for individual rooms. Also the room was very smelling musty...should have some type of spray and deodoraizer in each room....had to air it out daily to help come down the bad smalle of mildew and musty small. But the resort was very nice and friendly.

La localisation est excellente. La plage est agréable et équipée. Les restaurants et les commerces sont à proximité directe. Le parking est gratuit et gardé de nuit. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et bien équipées. Nous avons eu une chambre calme sans nuisance avec belle vue sur la mer.

L'hôtel manque un peu d'animation. Et il y a une quantité de moustiques incroyable (prévoir diffuseur !).

A limpeza do apartamento e a retirada do lixo só aconteceu quando foi pedido.

O apartamento com duas suites é muito confortável, bem como a localização do hotel, com uma praia razoável, com comércio perto e facilidade de estacionamento para automóvel.

Os serviços no hotel, como o fornecimento de informaçoes de qualquer natureza e atendimento do seu pessoal é muito ruim, parecendo uma má vontade generalizada de todos os atendentes. A limpeza do apartamento é feita uma única vez por semana - é muito pouco para um período de férias na praia. A piscina do hotel é muito pequena para a quantidade de apartamentos e hóspedes.

Quarto enorme com cozinha mega equipada! Dá pra duas famílias ficarem lá. Ficamos num quarto pé na areia. O máximo! Fica bem perto do aeroporto.

Não tinha café da manhã e tivemos qua pagar uma taxa de 20% que não vimos que estava incluída.

Hotel de ótimo custo benefício, considerando o valor de 7 diárias (cerca de 1000 dólares) e a possibilidade de 2 famílias se hospedarem no mesmo apartamento. O apartamento conta com ótima estrutura (2 quartos com banheiros privativos, cozinha equipada, sala e sacada). O hotel conta com ótima piscina, boa localização e é na beira da praia.

Os quartos também poderiam contar com internet.

Gostei da hospitalidade, conforto das acomodações e fundamental- a proximidade do hotel á praia. É como se o mar estivesse aos nossos pés.
