Score from 94 reviews Very good
buggs, paying to go training, bad smell in the room
Staff excellent. Pedro the manager was fantastic
Small prob with toilets staff explained and were very accommodating. Especially pedro
Room was comfortable. Lucky enough that the staff allowed an early checkin.
WiFi was not stable in every room. Had to leave the bedroom for the living room to access the internet.
I love the view from the balcony
When I checked in the room was not cleaned from the previous guest
Staff did not provide any receipt of the stay. While asking for a support they declined badly and arrogantly.
Transport and persons transporting were friendly but just need to get this sorted out and communicate between one another where people need to go.
When checking in, we waited a while and people didn't know if one had started helping us or not. Enjoyed the stay and would choose it again.
The dining (lunch) experience in one of the onsite restaurants was mediocre at best. Many of the items on the menu were not available. Only 1 of the 7 people in the group was able to get their first choice.
We believe we had one of the worst room locations on the resort. Maybe this is saved for Booking customers or something. No view, except for the view directly at the resort laundry facility out of our only window. And right at the elevator entrance...so we basically greeted every guest using the elevator when we stepped outside to have a cigarette. Our room was at the back of the very last building at the top of the hill, the furthest away from the beach and restaurant amenities.
Great staff, very attentive. Beautiful rooms very well maintained and updated. Wonderful location, just out of the hotel many resturants The beach was beautiful...... Many pools around the facility
did not know since it is a time share they don't clean the rooms daily but only once a week, which was strange to me since I was paying as a hotel guest. The internet was very slow almost to none. It's a huge resort and very spread out so be prepared to do lots of walking Was very disappointed that they only allow one beach towel each day with no exchange!!!!!!and you better grab one early or you might be out of luck like we did. No hot tub!!!
We loved the area. Simpson bay is the best area in St. Marten. Loved that everything was on the property that we needed. Market, restuarants, and souvenir store and much more. Everything was in walking distance as well...
There was no beach right out front of where we stayed and was quite the walk for us to get there but we know they are upgrading and will be adding the beach area in the near future.
When we left the resort not to return
Unfriendly staff, disorganization. The late check in at 4pm and then the check being so early at 10am!
Internet was kinda slow
at the ceck in the guy was very bad and make wait 30 min for the room... was 17 pm not in the morning!!! no one care about costumers .... forget this place
I stayed here 1-15 for 5 days it is really nice the room is great, the staff is nice very efficient.close to everything there is approximately 6 pools very nice for kids. Lots of bars great. The rooms called Marina rooms are older just ask for the newly renovated rooms if possible a studio was sufficient for me my husband and daughter the couch was a pull out bed and a full kitchen with all appliances and dishes great place to stay.
- Apartments clean and well equiped - Good bed, very good kitchen facilities, nice view from balcony, clean bathroom, - Clean and well prepared beach area - Clean pool areas
Included Wifi very slow but faster wifi with extra charge available, smoke detector in room very sensitive
The rooms were great, we stayed in a 2x2. the beach was beautiful, bar on site, guys to get you chairs, huts for shade, bars, casino, pools and an amazing staff
The wi-fi service was basically non-existent, it was nice to disconnect, but frustrating when you needed to look up something and the teenagers were more upset than the grownups
Very easy acess to visit nearby islands
Poor internet signal
Location was wonderful along with views and amenities
WIFI was terrible which was a huge inconvienane and I did not like the time share sales push.
The main building was nice with good workout room.
No onsite restaurant.
Price, location, pool, service was all great. The out of date furnishings is immaterial. The rooms were nice & spacious and very well maintained the funny colored worn tile wasn't important because it was clean & the room & deck were amazing!
It was a great resort.
convenient location, good food and shopping
Ran out of beach towels.
Private beach, size of the room, amazing sea view.
Well, considering that st maarten is hideous, the hotel was actually ok if you do not have the budget for something more exclusive. the only good thing about the hotel was the private beach and the 'time sharing' type of room - so you can cook, etc. towels available which was also good. The resort was probably great in the 70's. Now it looks tired and messy, just like the whole island. if you are just an average tourist, then you might like.
The view was fine.
Room was very outdated and sofa bed was uncomfortable.
