Staff was friendly and very accomodating. Food on premises was good, but do not expect fancy presentation. Great nearby access to charming restaurants and long beautiful beaches. Studio room was large and clean. I was satisfied. Spa services were good but overpriced. Spa is not fancy.
My room was infested with mosquitos when I first arrived. I told the staff and they fumigated my room immediately. They should try to present food a little better. I ordered pancakes and sausage and received them on a plastic plate, totally plain, and with no garnish i.e. fruits/whip cream/butter. It was good, but you always expect a little something special when you are on vacation. The entire resort sits on a hill so if your room is not in the main building, get ready to do a bit of walking up and down hills. Not too bad, when I found my way around but if you are older and walk with a cane, it could be a little difficult to get around.
PEACEFULNESS, EXTREMELY CLEAN, PERFECT LOCATION FROM AIRPORT.
The entire staff, especially our consierge Javier went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful.
Timeshare presentation was way too long, 4 hours. Towel card system needs to be more convenient.
I had a studio apartment with a well appointed kitchen
A young lady on the information desk was excellent - very friendly
The gentleman on reception booked us in the wrong room and when we went back to sort it out there was no apology.
Tremendous value for money
Walking uphill to apartment
The room was new, clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn't have a view, but we had a cute little porch we could hang out on. We were close to a few of the pools and restaurants and the grounds of the resort were nice.
The front desk clerk that checked us in was absolutely awful! Honestly, worst customer service I have ever experienced. He didn't give us any info about the resort (i.e. where things were located or the shuttle, where to get beach towels, and didn't tell us we had to add money to our room key in order to charge to the room.) They also keep a $250 incidental charge and don't release it until 10 days after you check out. While that is understandable, he didn't explain it in detail at all. Luckily, we talked with someone working the night shift and he explained how everything worked to us.
Scuba, beach, view from the room,
Hard sell on the time share
It was a great room had a full kitchen. ..the bed was extremely comfortable. ..
The toilet has a very strong suction when flushed ...kinda scary
near all places ,easy to find.Warm atmosphere , full of amenities, fantastic rooms with all you can think off , enchanting pools, ample parking place, beautiful gardens ,nice view from the main lobby. great sense of security.
rooms are really great! comfortable. clean. quiet, and big.
The internet download speed included in the room rate is sub-standard and the worst i've every experienced in my travels. They have outdated infrastructure equipment that can't support a reliable connection and speed. the internet customer service company told me the "pay of upgraded service", won't do any good based on the equipment issue on the property. If you are a business traveler and need or rely on internet, you may want to check with this resort first before booking or look elsewhere.
Very nice view. Nice clean room
Good location and facilities.
Gave me first a room that wasn't cleaned up. Staff didn't seem very supportive.
great location in simpson bay plenty of great bars and restaurants close by one bedroom studio was terrific wifi worked fine
building b is so far away from reception ......anyone with problems walking needs the shuttle which can be frustrating at times, however the renovated room was great.
the room and amenities were great
Check in was a nightmare. The gentleman could not find our reservation for one hour. I had to read the paperwork to him to prove that my name was on the reservation. I also told him that I had called a few days prior to confirm my reservation. Finally (after midnight) we were given a room, however, after we parked, we the key would not open the gate to get to our room. We had to drive back to the front office and start over. We had to park at a different place and when we finally arrived to our room, It was dirty and very hot. Could not wait until the morning to check out!
1) that we spent only 1 night there- couldn't stay more if needed
1) check in took 45 minutes!!! The reception staff couldn't allocate the room - they have to call oversea and negotiate for a room for half an hour for the stay for 1 night !!! 2) room and window were dirty! Floor was sticky !!! 3) No bottled water in the room! Even if you call for room service- they will not bring you the water!!! You should go outside the hotel to find any! 4) impossible to sleep- you can hear every word in the next room - in our case there were a family with an infant crying all night 5) building was old - need maintenance
They were excellent for customer service. We had a physical health problem and they bent over backwards to accommodate us. Pedro was especially helpful. The view was excellent. Very enjoyable stay.
Large facility; needed shuttle.
The apartment was huge! One bedroom w king size bed and living room w 2 Murphy beds. The balcony was also big w table and lounge chair. Full equipped kitchen and dining table was there too, although we only ate out. Location was perfect- 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants and beach bars that serve lunch and drinks for a very reasonable price. My Iphone found Wi-Fi just fine, however the connection was intermittent.
The only thing that really pissed me off, was their "Timeshare" propaganda everywhere. We didn't mind to hear about it, but not for an hour and a half at 9 a.m. Too much pressure, really.
Gorgeous room view on the beach and the marina! Spacious bedroom. Perfect for a family! Babysitting service. Very friendly and smily staff. We add a Free upgrade to a better and normally more expensive bedroom.
Staff was ready to help and very friendly.
The staff. The millions of rules. The constant threat of fines if you broke the rules. The attitude of the whole place. Nasty, nasty, nasty.
We liked the newly renovated studio room and the location to nightly activities.
I liked the location it was right on the bay. It had a convenience store near by.
The wifi service was just horrible..soo slow. My room was a little old in decor but that's a minor negative. They have sales staff that greet you for a so called "welcome package" which was them selling you stuff. Not really my thing especially when I just wanted to get to my room. They said a porter would help me to my room, but that didn't happen. They gave me the directions instead. Very confusing for the first time.
This is a timeshare resort, not a hotel ! Concierege service does not have any knowledge of the island only of the resort, not even a map of the island. They offer very strongly (harass) timeshare presentation. Since we did not invest in their real estate we were totally ignored by the resort staff.
