The property is massive, so it is annoying to have to call for the shuttle. However, the shuttle was prompt for the most part. During my checkout process, Matthew was the front desk rep on duty. He was absolutely despicable. I had an early flight to catch. I called in advance to ask for the shuttle to take me and my bags to the lobby, as well as, to ensure a taxi would be available. He never sent the shuttle, which resulted in me having to walk down that massive hill with my bags. I also called back to the front desk 7 times with no response, which Is why I decided to just walk. He tried to charge me an extra $50, which come to find out was for another room. He also would not give me any papers/receipts which showed I had checked out. Totally ruined the great experience I had otherwise. As well, he called for a taxi which I had to share with another couple. That driver then charged us $15 each, which is absurd.
My room was fantastic! I had a one bedroom suite, and it was gorgeous. My room was on the fifth floor in the B building & overlooked the bay. The decor was great. Everything was spotless. The bed was über comfortable. Gilbertha checked me in and made me feel welcomed and right at home from the moment I entered the lobby. I wish all front desk personnel were as cordial and welcoming as she is.
