A Mansion Hotel  

It was close to the right price; but this was more like a 500b hotel especially since it didn't include breakfast. We paid 690b. Good location close to the river, the market and restaurants. Nothing special but decent. The weather was great, the people were friendly. The beds in Thailand are usually always "firm".

Long trip up the stairs with your luggage and no bellman to help.

It was a little further out from the towns main attractions

AC was as loud as staying at a truck stop with the advantage that it drowns out the noise of the fridge

Location was great.

Dis-organised reception staff. Hard beds. Not enough double rooms.

It was a quiet, comfortable, clean hotel. All the facililities we like, were there. Especialy wifi was faster than the other hotels we were in Thailand. The atmosphere is good.

Personel understood no English. We discoverd that the housecleaner spoke better English than the people at the reception.

the staff dont know how to communicate in english, asked me to pay for extra person , but didnt give me an extra bed, i am disappointed on this..

Great place to stay a few nights. Close to both piers and lomprayah bus station. Internet was fast on all floors.

Nice spacious and clean rooms, good (almost industrial-like :)) air-con. Good location, quite close to the town center. Quick wi-fi.

A little-bit overpriced, could have included some basic breakfast for this money (we paid the biggest price - 890 b per night). Could have cheaper tickets (about 30% higher comparing to neighbouring agencies: we paid 240 b for a bus-ticket to Ko Lanta, when at the reception we were offered to pay 350 B. weird), nevertheless, nice stay for a night before you head on to the islands

Looked like bedding hadn't been changed when we arrived. Bathroom needed a proper clean.

Right next door best bar cafe Chilling bar, down the road go to Up To You, across the road go to Sa Bai. Each of those fantastic bread food drinks. Most sophisticated cheap food we've had after 5 weeks travelling. A Mansion... just a place to stay... double deluxe smallish room, cleaned daily. wifi worked from our room. every cafe has wifi. straight down road on corner catch truck bus to ao anong for 50 bht. Or boat road by boatmen for 150 bht one way to Railay.. beach..spelling?

You might not like... 56 steps to your room. Aircon good. no balcony. tv small not many english movies but channels yes. tried to sell tours as soon as we arrived.. crikey let me rest first. phi phi to krabi town cost 300 bht. fyi. id stay elsewhere next time as the stairs nearly killed me lol.. gotta get fit!

Het A Mansion Hotel is a nice hotel in the middle of town. clean rooms and helpfull personnel.

The hotel was new and the staff was really nice.

Room was very clean and neat. Nearby the shops and the pier to take river boat tours. At the pier there is also a night market where you can find local foods for low prices. Best place to eat of course.

Bathroom sink was a bit dirty. I had to clean bit of moss from the drain.

My room was not cleaned in my stay there. Only one very friendly staff speaks English. The others were quite impossible communication but they are friendly.

The hotel is centrally located. Rooms are large and well equipped. Very clean. It's a lot what you get here for the low price.

A Mansion is a clean and friendly ideal place to stay in Krabi town. It is near to the passenger ferries and walking distance to the shops and the night market. I have stayed before and find it very handy to use when I am coming in from Krabi airport after a long journey, or even just for a night to go shopping as I live 2 hours away. There is a small fridge at reception so if you are tired on arrival and do not want to go out, this is very handy and the drinks are very reasonably priced. I have stayed in 2 types of room now and this time took a 'deluxe' which was still so reasonable. I asked for a late check out and this was no problem at all for a small fee. There are several bars and restaurants close by so ideally placed. If this is in your budget, go for it as you could certainly pay more elsewhere and could be unsatisfied.

The aircon didn't work which was rather annoying, but we got a new room rather quickly that was in fact an upgrade, so no problems there. The airco was horribly noisy though. It was clean but the bathdoom could use an update.

Zentale Lage zum Pier und der Stadt Schliesfächer in der Lobby (gut bewacht und zwei Schlüssel zum öffnen erforderlich) Kühles Zimmer obwohl nur Ventilator, da oben offen und mit Fliegengitter. Extrem guter W-Lan Empfang da vor jedem zweiten Zimmer ein Verteiler angebracht ist. Sehr freundliches und englischsprachiges Personal.

Tourenangebot sehr teuer - besser wo anders buchen. Hellhörige Zimmer da oben offen - Absatz vor dem Fenster - unbedingt verriegeln da sonst jeder ins Zimmer kann !!! Kein Kühlschrank - Getränkeautomat in der Lobby teuer. Uns wurde eine falsche Auskunft über den Nachtmarkt gegeben, der sich nur 2 Gehminuten vom Hotel weck befand - haben leider in der Stadt gegessen und sind nur durch Zufall dann dort hingekommen.
