I am a solo older woman traveller i stayed at Adelphi for 5 nights in all, I felt completely safe, i could travel on the sky train at night, which is literally 2 mins walk from the suites.It is central to shopping and a night market across the road with a 7 Eleven shop a few doors down as well as bars and restaurants. The staff were excellent each and every one of them. I liked having a sink, knives, forks, plates, kettle, stove fridge and lounge area the large walk in shower was great. The breakfast was not great with only two types of cereal coco pops and cornflakes. Scrambled eggs,cold boiled eggs with a small cold section, toast, jam and butter. Other than this the breakfast was Thai. |

The room was ok. But the stay was not really enjoyable at all. We were checking in at almost midnight and the hotel did not have the complete information about our booking, hence we had a lot of trouble while checking in and checking out. The hotel staff said that since the booking was confirmed by booking.com they were not responsible for the details. 1) about airport pick up and 2) the fact that the room was booked for 2 adults and 1 child of 12 yrs. They kept telling us that they did not confirm and it was booking.com's fault for not informing the hotel. The staff just needed to make sure that the guest did not have to be troubled for what was clearly a break in the communication between booking.com and Adelphi Suites It seemed like the staff at the hotel did not care about the confusion, they kept blaming booking.com and they were just waiting for us to go away so the problem would go away. We did not have a pleasant stay at all. |

As a woman traveling alone, I appreciate the kindness of the staff at the Adelphi. Everyone is gracious and willing to do whatever they can to make the guest comfortable. The desk people are quick and efficient, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished and the location is excellent. The room I stayed in (505) was noisy. It was right across from the elevator and not high enough above the street to get away from the night noise. |

Quiet soi in the centre of Bangkok and very closed to Sky Train station. Easy to have a drink nearby and choice of restaurant. The traffic is sometimes very bad by car to reach the soi but this is Bangkok. To push your room key every times you are taking elevator is somehow inconvenient. |

The staff was courteous and the location was very good, having a suite for the same price as other hotel rooms added to the value of the stay. One minor complaint, the staff was working on the balcony while we were there and instead of warning us of using an insecticide they continued to work while we sat there. When mentioned the manager did apologize but they should have told us to move if the work needed to be done at that time. |

We liked having the position of the hotel. We also thought that the room was spacious and comfortable and came with excellent facilities e.g. the kitchen facilites etc. The bathroom was large and the shower wonderful! The staff were friendly and helpful. |
