Everything! Can not fault this hotel! We stayed in one bedroom suite - they are so so beautiful especially outdoor bathroom. Definitely coming back!

I liked the layout of the resort and the peacefulness (no screaming kids :). The whole experience was very good I enjoyed it. The staff was exceptionally good and attentive without being over the top.

When I arrived I was booked into a twin room even though I was only one person arriving. However, after one night my room has been changed to double bed. Also I thought that the bathroom arrangements with the windows open for anyone to see was a bit strange, but I got used to it. I also experienced a disturbance over two nights from my neighbors upstairs. The Japanese restaurant was probably not such a good theme as there were hardly any diners there in. I think if the theme was a bit mixed up including native Thai choices would have been better and you need to have more wine choices. I believe that Thailand now produces their own wine so why not offer it in their restaurants ?

Breakfast not great, beach area is dirty and you cannot swim, have to use pool. Staff not very welcoming at times when issues arise, restaurant expensive compared to others in same vicinity

The resort has a great stretch of the beach with complimentary chairs, umbrellas, towels and service for guests. Chaweng beach is soft sand, the water is very shallow, and lovely for wading. We enjoyed strolling the long beach after sunset, with quiet restaurants setting up tables at the water's edge. The special offer at the spa (3 hours of massage/body scrub/facial) was absolutely heaven, and the price was unbeatable. They also set up a massage hut on the beach. One night of the week, Akyra Chura hosted a cocktail hour at the pool followed by a fireshow on the beach. The staff was lovely, and we would happily return!

If I were to be very critical, the drink prices at the bar were expensive. But this is to be expected at any hotel beach bar, and an easy way around this is to buy a couple beers at the mini-mart and BYOB to the beach. Not really a problem at all.

Definitely not a 4* hotel. Room are nice, but the whole resort does not really stand out. Breakfast is ok...and you have to pay for your coffee! SPA is really nice tho!

Restaurant by the pool has a poor service. Swimming pool is dirty, not enough seats/sunbeds both at the swimming pool and at the beach.

staff is hugely kind, beach is just there and quite good. the fitness room is not a big one but nice for an individual use.

breakfast could be better. it feels like a windowed container rather than a bungalow. you cannot open a window, only the door. no fresh air inside which makes the room smelly.

Location and design of the hotel.

Nice location on the beach, nice rooms (eventhough from 90% of the rooms you cannot see the sea as shown on the website). Nice Pool and Beach. Next to the hotel there are a couple of nice beach restaurants (very good price). About 10min walking distance from chaweng centre.

NO GOs for a hotel in this price category: You have to pay extra for Cappucino at the breakfast; the towels are very shaby (stains, tattered etc.) and look like in a cheap youth hostel.

Excellent location, good clean rooms. Very polite and courteous staff. Recommended hotel.

No space for an extra bed in the room, so make sure you book one room per 2 persons only. If you are travelling in odd numbers, book an extra room.

The beach is a bit deirty .. But its not a big deal.. U can walk for 5 mints to the other side and swim where the beach is much cleaner

We absolutely loved staying at Akyra Chura. Our room and balcony was beautiful and the location is perfect for those that want a bit of peace and quiet, but is also within walking distance of the action. The Hotel staff were so friendly and so helpful it was a delight to stay here and would not only stay here again, but would also definitely reccommend it to young couples!

Not a lot I didnt like to be honest, but if I had to be petty, then I guess the breakfast selection could be improved.

Room very big and spacious, bed very comfortable. It felt like our own living area rather than just a hotel room. Great location on one of the better beaches in Koh Samui, plently of sunbeds and comfortable bean bag chairs you can relax on.

The floors are just plain smooth concrete so took a while for me to get use to, and it smelt abit strange to me. Small choice for breakfast compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Pool quite small, food expensive compared to the other resturants next door and further down on the beach.

every thing in this hotel was excellent. its a very good place to relax, nice pool just on a beautiful sea. 10 min walking to the city and nightlife. helpful staff. I stayed 3 nights but i wished i could stay more. really recommend this hotel and Koh Samui city

The staff were all friendly from cleaners, to bar and restaurant to front desk. Location was excellent away from the busy part of Chaweng but close enough for easy access. Breakfasts were nice as were the rooms but be careful as booking.com make the area look much more spacious than it was. Beach restaurant is nice but quality of bbq mixed - one very nice one not good (cold). It was a nice restful stay apart from..... See not likes...and I would stay again.

Lack of response from management to some problems. Mice were eating my sugar and coffee and crapping in the drawers but no action was taken. It continued. I raised this with management on check out and in response to e-mail asking for my opinions and in writing inj the forms provided but no response. I gave them the chance to respond before I mentioned on line and they clearly do not read the e-mails they ask for. Rooms were a bit missold by booking.com. Nice but the views for the class of room I booked were actually for a higher grade room.

The breakfast was not good enough especially for people from mediterrenian and middle east.

Lovely staff and great cocktails by the pool. Pool was lovely and clean. Location in North Chaweng is good, away from the hectic South Chewing.

I loved the staff, so friendly. bed was very comfy. Rooms very modern. Pool beautiful

Food was very expensive. was advertised no children stay, we had noisy kids in pool area and breakfast.

Staff were really friendly and really helpful, loved the infinty pool, beach was right in front of the pool. About 10min walk into town found it easier to walk along the beach into town as it was cooler. Enjoyed lounging around the pool with free wifi.

Amazing hotel, we had a wonderful stay. Would definately book again.

Find it very hard to fault it however, to give it 100% I would propose free transfers to and from the airport.

Ininity swimming pool and tropical garden

The beach was problematic,we had water upto knees only even in distance 500 meters and also there are plenty of quite high plants almost exceeding the water level therefore,if you wanna swim in the sea,do not come here. Prices at swimming pool: 150 bahts for fresh coco nut ?

Breakfast and the swimming pool are excellent. Location was ok, but the beach was not pristine at all.

Overpriced hotel. Location was good, near the beach, but water was dirty (did not take a bath at all).

The photos I saw didn't really reflect what he hotel looked like in real life. The photos show a much more luxurious place when it's not in reality

When I booked the room, I saw in your site that the resort did not accept children. ( see policy below that I copied and pasted from the website) Children and extra beds Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel. Extra beds are not available. There is extra beds/baby beds in a room is 0 capacity for extra beds/cots in the room Much to my horror, on the first day I counted no less than 21 screaming children in the swimming pool and the noise continued all week. In addition, a large group of tourists got up early in the morning, placed beach towels etc on ALL of the beach recliners leaving none for other guests. So it was near impossible to go to the beach without lying on the sand and impossible to go to the pool because of the screaming children. I feel that I have been mislead and would like someoene from your organisation to get in touch with me. The whole holiday was ruined because of this. In addition, I find teh room type misleading. I did not have a terrace but a deck facing a stone wall. Overall I am very disappointed that I have been mislead as THB26,115 is not cheap. I look forwrad to hearing from you.
