Al's Resort    

Location, right on the beach, 1 minute walk to night life/restaurants.

The location was good and the Tops shop was next to the hotel.

Staff not very helpful at the reception. The aircon was dripping water and they try to fix it 4 times but still dripping. The gardens need to be looked after and no Wi Fi included in price .

Great breakfast, good shuttle service, close to airport. Great beach access. Nice beach. Easy access to other beach restaurants. Close to street shopping and many good restaurants. Great staff to work with.

Little storage space for anything. Must live out of suitcase. Bathroom not similar to western style living but OK. Poor lighting especially in bathroom.

Friendly & loyal to repeat customers.

Pool could be more child friendly for younger kids.

As close to the beach as you can get.

The toilet was smelling really really bad. When we told the staff they just send a boy who sprayed it with a spray and left it like that. We could hardly sleep there. The main staff wasn't that service minded and the electricity was gone several times the first night.

Location great and staff helpful. Pool and beach bar mean out have all you need on site.

My room smelled most of the time as the drains of the bathroom obviously have issues. I had read about this in previous reviews so it's an issue the management and staff are aware of and have not dealt with. I did tell them but nothing was done and no change of room was offered. My friend had no problems with his room however so it's not all of the rooms.

The location is great, a minute to the beach a minute to all the action on the street. Very quiet at night, but seems like a haunted ghost resort.

Room was more like a hostel, dirty, smells like sewage, asian hairs in the bed and stains on the bed sheets! Complained and got moved closer to the beach but even more stains and still dirty! Definetly not worth the money at all,trust the bad reviews and stay somewhere else. Our loss can be your gain!

We picked Al's Resort last time we stayed in Chaweng as the location is great, we had a beach front villa, never made it to breakfast, there is a beach bar next door but music stops at 12. Wifi was extra, but cheap.

The first villa was awful, run down, dirty sofa, broken lamps, grotty bathroom. But when we complained we were moved to a beautiful room. Give villa 201 a miss !

Smelly, unclean, breakfast is poor.

sorry honestly can not find any single thing that i liked other then the sea and the weather but obviously they are out of "Al's Resort " control

Dirty, poorly maintained, moldy, understaffed, noisy, no security, disorganized, we had a ridiculously expensive new years gala dinner with chicken nuggets, do not visit this place if you intend to sleep at nights.

There was very little to like abut this resort

Upon arrival, NO AIRCON as requested.The roms were NOT cleaned daily nor were the towels refreshed daily. Receptioniists do not speak fluent english nor are they very responsive and rOOms are not clean smelling or inviting. A taxi service to/from airport is advertised and presumed free or low charge but not the case and expect to pay local taxi rate

Location Location Location!!! also, its low priced - but that reflects immediately in the shabby standard of service and not-so-well maintained rooms... all in all, the resort looks a little 'tired' and in need of renovation / over-hauling... That said, its one of the best locations on Chewang beach. Close to the street shopping / night life / massage parlors / restaurants etc... and a pretty happening stretch on beach right at your footsteps.

The service has steadily deteriorated over the last few years (been there thrice in the last 5 years). Also, the food (room service, etc), which used to be quite good (as far as the thai cuisine is concerned) has significantly lost flavor.

The rooms were dirty, the Linen was disgusting, black, stained,smelly, we upgraded and paid more as our room had broken floor tiles, our upgraded room was not much better, Hsk could not speak english, they only cleaned half a room, if they came at all, and i had to ask for towels, and other amenities, The women on the reception desk is very rude, and only interested in taking your money but providing no service, i left a 2 page letter addressed to the General Manager, when i gave it to the rude lady, she said he was out of town, i asked for him to contact me regarding our stay, but no one had the decency to contact me, this was the second time i stayed at this hotel, the first time was good, and i recommended it to family and friends from overseas, i was embarrased that i had booked my friends into this hotel, the whole 6 days we stayed at the hotel was a disaster.

Being moved rooms from a disgusting were the tap blew out brown water to a room where it just stunk of cigerettes

Name it was smelly when we walked in disgusting in 1st rm n stunk in 2nd when i asked to be moved

Good location, clean rooms, clean swimmingpools, nice straff and a good breakfast.

It would have been nice with free WiFi . The backdoors in both our rooms let in a lot of insects.

The rooms were clean and pools were cool and clean. Staff were polite and eager to help.

It was more expensive than we thought and we arrived a day early being charged alot for a top room we didn't require. Only to have to move the next day when we should of been booked into the room we were going to stay in the full time as there were many empty.

Es war einfach alles o.k. - nettes Personal - sauber - schöne Poolanlage - super sortierter Supermarkt vor dem Resort... wenn Samui die Destiantion ist, die du suchst

地点非常好，在查汶海滩的中央，走出房间50米就可以跳到海里，酒店有专属海滩躺椅区晒太阳，而且酒店游泳- 池欣赏海景超美，月圆那几天清晨太阳月亮一东一西同时挂在空中时超美。海滩左边400米是全苏梅最著名的A- RKbar，周末和月圆夜都有大趴，想闹可以去，但想静又不会被吵到。正门出来就是大超市Tops supermarket。环境没得说，漂亮又便捷

房间小、价格贵，早餐很不值

Resort lekker dicht bij het strand. Ruime kamer.

Personeel ( balie) niet erg vriendelijk. Pas na aanhouden kregen we het wachtwoord voor gratis wifi in de lobby.

Chambre double de luxe indigne d'être proposée à des hôtes sombre, sale et très mauvaises odeurs. Moyennant un supplément de prix nous avons pu obtenir une chambre de catégorie supérieure qui n'avait que peu de place de rangement et une salle de bain vétuste. Cet hôtel est à déconseiller.
