Nowhere while reserving the room it was mentioned that it is for garden and not for the tower. It should be clearly defined in the website about the property

Booked a standard room and was upgraded to a large seafront suite with an uncluttered sea view. Nice modern interior design. Large estate with two swimming pools and a garden. Good restaurant. Staff is friendly, helpful, and at ease with English language. Good location: you just have to cross the road to get to the beach. It's far enough away from the nightlife area (around 2km) to be quiet and family-friendly, yet you can easily get there with a pickup truck ride if you want to. Wifi not included in room price - however, public wifi services are available from the room for much cheaper than the hotel wifi service. Breakfast too expensive if you buy it on site (you have to buy it at booking time to get a reasonable price).

Breakfast fantastic, service wonderfully pleasant and the room very comfortable.only draw back being that wifi is restricted to lobby only, should be available in all areas of the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. John

Friendly staff, and good english, clean and fresh atmosphere , the greeting made us feel like home, and the service was given to the fully, all the staff there want to help. Very nice pool, and Jacuzzi, Gym, and a very good breakfast buffet. Anything you need the staff will be happy to deliver or advice. I will definitely stay there next time. Location was amazing, far and tuck tuck are stacked outside the hotel 24/7. rooms are very comfortable, and clean. would recommend this hotel to anyone going to pattaya , either single couples or family . thnx all for a great pattaya experience

Be very careful - the photos shown are all of the Amari Orchid Towers - if you book an executive room there are none in the towers - you have booked into the garden wing - first two rooms shown to us were awful, I spent £££ on the phone to booking .com in USA (due to time difference) before we were given an acceptable room. Amari staff say this has happened before and remember there is no refund given at this hotel - normally it is a one night charge but our whole stay of 6 nights was non-refundable.

Location was ecellent. The room was nicely decorated and it was kept extreamly clean. Pool area was a pleasent place. I was upgraded by the hotel :-) Marketing vs reality = no match (E.G. "elegantly decorated rooms at Orchid Amari Pattaya are spread over two wings and feature private balconies" but not all rooms have balconies. As well it has two sides: 4* and 5*) The room was extreamly noicy because it was facing the street. Poolside rooms are quieter.

Excellent service with a smooth check in where the guest is not even required to go to the reception. They come to you and get everything done. A welcome drink and cool towel on arrival at the hotel which is very refreshing. Very friendly staff and great service. A lot of mosquitoes in the garden wing since the place is filled with greenery I guess. We did not have a problem though since we were upgraded to the Ocean Tower but near the open area in the restaurant on the second level it gets pretty bad in the evenings.

Amari is a first class hotel, from the meet and greet with free drink to the excellent breakfast service... My only complaint is why hotels such as this insist on charging for Wifi? You already pay a premium to stay with them would it hurt them to give you it free?

Convenient central location.........well connected with public transport. Beautiful views from the rooms. Ocean tower much better than the palm tree side. A hop skip and jump to the beach............gr8 value for money. Very comfortable stay/rooms. Very comfortable indeed. Will definitely return someday. Where else do u have this chain???? Honey vohra bhalla Your concierge lady seemed to have some personal commission/vested interest in highly and strongly and forcefully recommending a 4 hr trip to some jewellery factory/showroom. Any travel help giver must ask guest his/her interests not impose yours on them............especially enlightened travelers.

I was on a business trip so could not enjoy much of the swimming pool and spa facilities. But the friendly relaxed atmosphere make you feel at home in this place. The TOWER building is quite recent and rooms are excellent, equiped with all the latest technologies. The GARDEN building is an older more colonial building, but rooms are nicely renovated My room in the GARDEN building at the streetside was very noisy. There is a lot of traffic noise throughout the night, making it difficult to catch sleep. So when booking this hotel one should choose the TOWER building, or at least request for a room at the Garden poolside !!!

Checking in is a breeze at the Garden Wing. Everything was already prepared when we arrived. All we got to do is to hand over our passport & take a seat at the lobby. We were served drinks while waiting. In all it takes about 10 mins from checking in & into our room. Good housekeeping daily. Bellhop are always helpful. Mosquitos in the night, especially at the garden wing lobby. The ceiling fans at the lobby of garden wing need to be powered up. It is so slow that I can hardly feel the wind/ No wifi connection in room.
