when booking, I believed that I was receiving a 5 star accommodation at a 50% discounted rate. When I checked in and found the room not up to standard, and advised reception accordingly, who stated that it was 3 star. |

Excellent rooms (at least the one I was in) a fabulous bar and restaurant; the best in Pattaya (the Mantra). The room design is modern and spacious as well as elegant. I have been to Pattaya 10 times and this really is the best and is good for families also. No free wifi and no bus to central Pattaya |

Hotel ideally suited for a relaxing holiday in a beautifully calm atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms in the Ocean Tower are first class Sometimes noise from the city at night in the rooms pointing in the direction of the amusement area of Pattaya! |

Although we had reservation for the garden wing, we were upgraded to the tower at no extra cost. Good location in a quiet part of Pattaya (2-3km from the nosier parts), two swimming pools, seaside 2 minutes away. Hotel very clean, breakfast OK (mainly warm food). |

Was warmly greeted at the check-in reception at the Garden Wing and was told that our booking was under the Ocean Tower. They took us to the Ocean Tower via a buggy car and that was a nice gesture. The room was clean and spacious and had a pool view. Very pleased with the overall stay experience and will def recommend to all people looking for a nice place to relax and yet affordable price. The hotel even surprise me with a birthday cake when we came back from our swimming session, so sweet. |

The location and facilities were OK , but this is a 4-star international hotel and does not reflect the hospitality associated with Thailand. I prefer smaller and more Thai style The rooms are not particularly good for a Thai international hotel |

i liked the pool area and the peacefulness as it is in one corner of pattaya beach the front desk is not at all polote,do not understand english properly,and take too much time to handle clients and complete paper works and allot rooms.also when we complained that there are too many mosquitos in the room they only had a spray to offer us and said at this rush time new year they do not have anything else to offer. |

The hotel has a very nice garden and pool, a nice place to relax if you really have to be in Pattaya. It is also at the North end of Pattaya beach so a little away from the main bar areas which is a good thing, you can walk to the bars in 5 minutes if needed. Pattaya beach area itself is a hell hole, incredibly bad, but if you really need to be there as we had to be for one night then this is a perfectly fine place to stay and I would stay again. The staff were not unfriendly but not particularly friendly either, it is a large hotel with hundreds of arrivals everyday so cannot be heped to some extent. |

I booked this hotel, and was suposed to get a pool/garden view as they said in the reservation from booking.com. But when I arrived at the hotel they gave me a room on the backside close to the road. I complain about it, and ask to get the room I booked. I meet a very difficult staff, and it was very hard to change the room... |

Happy hour around the pool. Ha ha! Massage facilities around the pool area. Along with nicely maintained gardens and infinity pool. Mantra restaurant pricey but with excellent selection of dishes. Situated very close to beach and Beach Road leading to night life, bars etc. Walking Street about 20 minute walk away. Wifi charges pricey - I dont mind paying a small fee but most hotels tend to overcharge for this facility. Most people only want to check e- mails or look up local info. Cheaper to use one of the many cyber cafes or coffee shops. Other annoying thing was the usual idiots who reserve sun loungers with towels and books and then dont use them until the end of the afternoon, depriving other guests from using these facilities. Hotel staff should remove them after an hour of 'no show'. The hotel does have this policy but failed miserably to implement it. |

Amazingly clean and comfortable hotel. This was the best hotel in my stay in Thailand. I would highly recommend it. The hotel reception tried to send us to a different hotel and when we did not agree, they provided us the rooms. This was surprising. |
