Very close to the station
Very loud if you have a room on the street side. Bathroom is terrible, you really want to take the shower as quickly as possible to get out of there. Lots of ants. I got bitten at night my ants or bed bugs.
Fantastic for convenience and waiting for the 00.10am train to Chiang Mai. Only a 5 minute walk from the station and night bazaar markets. Great food hall seconds from the front lobby. Felt like we were in a 70's drama film with the decor and old style elevators. Perfect for what we needed and English channels on the television.
Location, very close to train station and reasonable walk to night market
Hairs in bedroom Ant infested Bathroom Grotty bathroom, badly needs updating (along with the whole hotel) Breakfast was inedible, poor choice, raw eggs, not as described on menu Mouldy, stinky fridge in room No safe Staff speak very little/no English which made conversation impossible
Good staff accomodating to my needs
Location was fantastic, 2 minutes walk from the train station. Great staff, older hotel but for 600 Baht its a screaming bargain. Large room, clean, functional . American breakfast included. Fast Internet in lobby.
Must be a sad person if one complained about this hotel considering the price.
In the city
Smell in a room
good location. close to night bazar.
it's very old hotel.
We were very surprised at the standard of courtesy shown by the staff, they could not have been more helpful or more friendly. Yes, the hotel is getting on in years but it was still great value for money....hell! what do people expect for Baht500? The Ritz! We will return here again next year with no hesitation. We found the rooms and cleanliness quite good and the internet was faster than other reviews have stated, we had no problems. Breakfast was again very acceptable - keeping in mind the price paid for each night. Being in the centre of town, the hotel is walking distance from most things people want. As long as people remember they are only paying around Baht500 for two people and two breakfasts, in a city centre hotel, then they should not be disappointed.
We did not find anything that was worth complaining about. Some people will complain about anything - even if it is FREE!
Close to train station
Chabby hotel , luckily only in awaitance of night train and only a place to shower and rest and not to sleep
Should have Free Wifi in room and in room a bit old
It is very close to rhe train station, markets and groxery stores.
Bathrooms are terribly dirty. Min had spiderwebs, and the furniture was falling apart. Bathtub was rusty and sticky.
Staff were efficient and courtious on check in. No problem accommodating my bicycle
How do you cook an egg so that the yolk is hard but some of the white is still runny?! Rooms a little claustrophobic and run down for the price (OK for an overnight stop however if I'd stayed for more than a day I'd have probably gone looking for a new place). A little overpriced for what you get
Hotel is 5 min of train station, walking distance. Breakfast is ok. We received good attention from personal at front desk.
The mattress was awful, we had very uncomfortable nights.
This hotel is great if you want to stay close to the railway station. It seemed clean. We made nice Twin Peaks style photos in the room.
Claustrophobic low ceiling rooms. Must have been a nice hotel a few decades ago. In serious need of renovation. No wifi in the room.
Convenient with acceptable accomodation for the price
Hotel needs to be refurbished
Close to the railway station
electricity cable sometimes open
Great service at a great price
The hotel is old and the rooms are small
old hotel and small room
