The Hotel provided good dining options, entertainment in the Bar Lounge and the staff in these were good. The Young lady who provided help in the Privelege Lounge was also good. The cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. On one of the days the room was not cleaned, no Toilet paper provided or the complimentary Tea and Coffee, however the room was signed off as being cleaned; a complaint was made to the Supervisor of the housekeeping team, but to no avail. On two further occasions I was left with no Toilet paper in the room and on othere the room was not cleaned until late afternoon. Not very complimentary after a long day in the Bangkok sun. One of the male reception staff could not understand a word of English or very little and did nothing to help when I asked about using the internet to check in for my retun flight home.. I would certainly never stay at the Ambassador again, nor would I recommend it to any of my friends.

The ambassador hotel, though is located in a prime location in Bangkok and describes themselves as a star hotel, it is far from that. The staffs of the hotel is not well behaved. They are rude to the customers and do not know any form of courtesy. I asked for some salts in the room service and in return they had miss behaved with me. The people in the reception is also care free and do not urge the needs of the guests. So in a nut shell this is not a standard hotel and in future I will not be staying there, I am also requesting other potential guests to think about staying in this hotel twice.

It is pretty near to the sky train pubs and shopping malls, the staff at the ports lodge are great fun there are a few of them that have their own band and sometimes u get a sing song going! The hotel section seemed a bit run down, nothing a lick of paint and new carpet wouldn't fix, also it seems to be mainly Indian people staying there so if u are having an early night expect to be woken up several times with the shouting up the hallways to each other. Stay clear of the taxi service just outside the main door they never just get you a taxi and try to talk you into going places you didn't ask then when you refuse they get all upset and try to charge you 3 times what it should, I had nothing but trouble with them so be warned! Also on check out there was an Internet charge on my bill how I don't know cause I didn't have a laptop and the only Internet in the room is cable it took about 15 mins at check out for the duty manager to relies it was impossible to run a cat5 cable into an iPhone 4s!

The only one thing that I liked in Ambassador is that it is very close to bts Nana station, where you can take the train an roam in the city. I see that this hotel have the feature of the 4 star hotel, Pool, Spa, Bing loopy, bill boy etc... But the hotel in general in term of clean and comfort should not be considered as 4 star hotel, It can get only 3Star in my openion, secondly the price of the hotel is very expensive considering the value of money that you pay. I can pay 1000 Bhat maximum for this hotel.

The hotel contains two seperate towers, the old one is absolutely terrible, it even has bugs and insects all over the room. So I upgraded to the other new tower which was perfect but I had to pay a 3600 thai batt over the 12000 I have already paid for the six day stay which is much more expensive than other hotels

Easy access to nana skytrain and close to my favourite pub in bangkok. I normally pay the extra for the tower wing which I was always happy with.the swimming pool is good enough too..but this time I stayed in the main wing on the 6th floor and it was really really noisy from aircon units on the wall outside.no view here just a concrete wall as well.

close to the city and all amenities, supplied water on arrival and daily once the service was reminded to leave drinking water. Beds were not cleaned everyday just dusted down and not all the amenitieswere met like simple toiletries. the hotel was going through some modernisation but it is a beautifully placed hotel within a bustling societyand most of the staff are friendly. no free internet access-shame at the price itshould be offered especially as we stayed for ten days iwould sayit was not totally value for money the main manager was respectful and helpful the reception managers were not if anything holiday was spoilt because of it. do not appreciate being called across a room a main floor to answer personal questions neither do i find it respectful to be treated as a lesser citizen as we paid in cash. my card had been used illegally inanother country and when discovered i spoke with my bank who advised me to get the hotel to take the money due then immediately this was not done by then and ended up having to find available cash poor service, would not recommend it to anyone even though it is beautifully located the staff needs updating

Location of Hotel is good, near Nana bts. This is only point could think off. Rooms I would rate 2.5 out of 5.(dont take room in main wing) STAFF is not rude, but they are like mindless chickens, they don't no what do. i would rate 2 out of 5. The charm of hotel Ambassador is gone, they are not what they used to be, that is Class

Only the lobby, else everything was poor. The staff was not at all cheerful while attending the guest. Seemed to be a bit understaffed. Cleaniness in room was extremly poor - ants and not proper cleaning are few of the issues. Air condition was poor - even at 10 degrees we felt like 30 degrees. Room service was bad, for delivering towels and toiletries the staff took quite a long time.
