Amora Thapae Hotel Chiang Mai    

Location What I expected for the price. Clean, reasonably comfortable, average breakfast. It's not 5 star but neither is the price. For the night bazaar and local bars, shops and restaurants it was good. For the price _ I would stay there again.

Rooms looked tired and carpets were long overdue a change throughout the hotel. My room had dead bugs and dirt accumulated in the corners - but overall the room and bathroom was clean. Checking in could have been a bit more interactive - perhaps the staff were shy ?

Great value hotel in a good location right on Thae Phae gate. 10 mins to the night bazaar or 1 minute to the walking street. Nice rooms and mine had a good view of the city.

Location is good during Songkran.

The rooms are basic. Could not deliver the connecting rooms requested.

Poor electricity.

Reception staff, buffet breakfast and restaurant staff, room size, location, secure parking, fast lifts. Great value for money.

Gym needs attention, house keeping needed to pay more attention to detail, nearly every day we had to ask for toilet paper or towels or face washers that they had forgotten to replace.

Very impersonal and the breakfast was a let down....never made it to get some fresh food. It was more of a lunch than a breakfast. Not exactly what you would want to see at 7 am

great location; just next to the tha pae gate and short walking distance to shops and stalls.

front desk staff not that friendly and helping when interacting with hotel guest. the attitude of the bellboy bringing us to the room is great though. he should be working in the front desk....

This hotel is very central and convenient.

The staff who was mainly unhelpful and disinterested and any communication or assistance was painful. The rooms are very noisy and you can hear everything in the room next door via the bathroom plumbing. Nowadays Wi-fi is part of a service of a hotel of good standard. This hotel charges unacceptable rates for internet service while you can cross the road to a coffee shop and have free wi-fi.

shock to th system. very dated...60's feel. hotel looks like it needs to be washed and then re-washed, desperately needs renovation. breakfast options were very very poor. definitely do not recommend it.

The location was brilliant. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Breakfasts superb.

Having to pay for internet access, the only hotel that we stayed in during our holiday wher we were charged! Laundry service also proved expensive too. The outdoor pool was disappointing, it lacked sunloungers and because of its position the sun had disappeared by 12 noon.

Breakfast buffet was abundant, a lot of choice and rooms were good in general. Cleaned every day and quite family friendly.

Big resort for the smaller city. Swimming pool never had sunlight unless you go bathing before 11 am. Poor English skills at the front desk.

Dated rooms and decor. Desperately needs upgrading in rooms and halls.

Central location, good breakfast, free parking space.

Reception staff was a little bit complicated.

1) The LCD TV was good with lots of local and international programmes. 2) The king-size bed was large and the mattress was firm. It is comfortable. 3) At the 5th, deluxe room, the window view was good for the distant mountain.

1) I forgot to buy extra drinking water, after taking the free 2 bottles of drinking water. I checked the drinks-snack list which shows that mineral water was 20 bath. When I checked out, I was charged 100 bath instead for a bottle of drinking water that cost around 10 bath. This feels like bar price and is a ripped off.

Great hotel. Excellent value for money at 25euro per room per night. Breakfast was very good. Its about 15-20 minutes walk to the Night Market. Its closeby to a laundarette, internet cafe, seven-11 and tesco,

Love my stay here!!! A welcome trip on arrival, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast in the morning was outstanding! Grat value, I state there on a backpacking holiday in Asia and could still afford it as a student! Poolside was great:) great location beside an internet cafe and laundrette, close to night markets!

No wifi in the rooms was one downside

Room is a bit too old Restaurant is really a breakfast restaurant: very open to hotel lobby, very bright, uncomfortable tables/chairs, not comfortable and cosy for dinner, specially for a couple, it's like sitting in the middle of the looby...

1、床品不适应，特别是被子，就是一条毛毯简单包裹一下，可能是当地基本清洁做法吧。 2、住宿的第二天搞消防演习，也没有见提前通知，引起不必要的恐慌
