Staff at reception - during check-in, detach my departure card from my passport without asking or saying a word and without stapling it onto my passport when returning back to me, totally unacceptable Room - standard room was in fact at their annex building, an isolated building located opposite side of the road(strange), appeared to be newly renovated but looked un-finished, like a quarter for staff instead. Inside the setting is cheap, not even up to some under $50 guesthouse, bathroom was like 70-80's. Totally different from what I've seen on the website. "what I see is NOT what I get" Pool - dirty! especially at the deepest end, oil deposit and some disgusting bubbles floating, terrible!!!

Small garden by the pool very green decorated by blooming orchids, very nice welcome to the pool leading to the wide beach access. The hotel is cozy and comfortable, just a few step to the pool and to the beach. The beach is nearby public access which is good for public yet do not bother the guests. Beach is right in the middle of the bay so great feeling when you look around. Hotel overall size is small compared to chain hotel yet rooms is comfy and have good size. Definitely a friendly hotel that oozes relaxation and can make one want to stay for a long time.

Some of our group booked at the most economic room is at annex building where there is no elevator to upper level. Few ground floor rooms are near the public alley. The interior is still good and rooms are of good size, though. If you can, opt for the pool view room which is the best value.

Everything!!! This is paradise! My absolute favourite place, within a couple hours from my home in Bangkok. Friendly and well skilled staff, fine rooms, superb food, fantastic orchids everywhere, calm and clean private beach and last but not least the gorgeous scenery with the sea and the waves in front of you, when you dine at the terrace! Watch the moon rise, enjoy a nice glass of white wine.... I could stay here forever, at this wonderful hotel. LOVE IT!

Beautiful sunrise. Waves are so good for body surfing. Near monkey mountain. A lot of good seafood restaurant before going up the mountain. 10 mins drive to town.

Standard room is located at annex building. No view at all. Same Continental breakfast is served for the 4 days I stayed.

Great location, very friendly staff, food was great at the hotel - but also at the beach hut restaurants - genuine and authentic Thai food.

The location was great, tha keab is surely the best beach for romantic nature lovers. Thestaff is friendly, food is average but restaurants are near.

All was great!

We liked that the pool was clean and the hotel, although it appeared to have been renovated and was in good condition. The rooms were good value and were large.The restaurant and management staff were excellent. The manager, the sous chef and Jim, (Thai female name) our waitress were excellent and the food was too.It was close to the Adventure Safari, maybe 5-10 minutes away and maybe 15-20 from the mall. Good options of horse-riding and water sports on the beach.

We were somewhat disappointed with our stay, likely because we are used to staying in Marriotts, Sheratons, Hyatts and we booked late on a long weekend and we didn't have many choices. The hotel is not a chain and as a small hotel, it didn't have a gym, only had one pool, a small gift shop and no spa, etc. The only restaurant was covered with a roof, but wasn't enclosed and thus, didn't have air conditioning. The menus at the restaurant were cafe style with a simple plastic page which didn't actually reflect the fantastic, yet somewhat expensive food. At least it seemed a little pricy for this type hotel. The beach had jellyfish warnings, loose dogs and many low-priced restaurants and massageurs on the beach. You could get an hour massage for $10US. It was further from the other good hotels and we thought we likely won't be back. We heard pets are allowed but we didn't bring our dog and only a few rooms allow pets. The rooms you book on the internet won't allow pets. I recommend this hotel as a 3 star, not 5 star hotel, but since I like 5 stars, I am not sure if we will come back, but we all had a good time.

beware of the jelly fish, some mosquitos beach chairs are good but need a bit more tidiness for such a hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Anantasila. The setting was stunning and for once the hotel looked BETTER in real life than the pictures on the website, not worse! Every single member of staff was attentive and happy to help and the place catered for our every need. It was a perfect, weekend getaway, the food was excellent, the rooms were luxurious and the location was perfect. See you again soon!

The staff at the hotel were extremely, helpful and polite.

Its to far from the town, getting the bus leaves you with a good walk when returning to the hotel. They supply a free tuc tuc from the hotel to the bus terminal but not on your return trip.

Right next to the beach location - fantastic! Nice massage services at the beach.

Renovation of the pool looked awful - could have been warded off or covered with some nice fence. Staff was very friendly, but their English wasn't too good. Rooms are ok, but rather old & worn - especially visible in bathrooms. Food in the restaurant was good, but prices were killer. Pity it doesn't have any spa facilities... In general not good value for money.

I like the garden with orchids! staffs are nice, even we can check in at 11 a.m. although a little bit far from the town, I like the quiet environment. you can get up early and go to the beach, I just like there, everything just becomes so simple and pure.

The hotel is situated right in front of an amazing beach, and had a very nice swimming pool! If you are looking for a beach side resort and with a laid back atmosphere, the moment you reach the hotel, you will certainly felt "this is exactly what I am looking for!!" Also, the restaurant in the hotel serves fantastic meal, strongly recommend to have one dinner meal there during your stay.

The hotel is located far from Hua Hin city center, and by Taxi, it would cost you 200 THB, which is nor cheap at all!! However, the hotel has free shuttle bus on demand that takes you to the nearest bus station (3 min drive), and from there you can catch bus to downtown that costs 15 THB per person and within 15 min time!

The staff was really friendly and the service was excellent.

Big room with the price not too expensive .

We saw a Dog walking around bf area and the dog is had bark to my daughter and is that make my daughter so scared of it and that even make me so worried to let my girl walking around the hotel without me with her as I never even trust any dog . For my suggestion the hotel should not let the dog to walk around the hotel area as that mean will be not safe for a young children .
