Anchalee Inn  

I went to the Anchalee Inn because some friends of mine booked a holiday there. It was an inexpensive place and I wasn't expecting much. It proved me wrong. Helpful staff, well maintained room and touches that make it feel like a much more expensive hotel. Recommended.

The hotel is next to a building site and across the road from another, the site worked from 7.55am until 11.30pm. If we had known about the buidling works we would not have booked, the noise was awful and we had constant headaches. The food in the hotel is also very poor, my husband opted for fish and chips, the fish was no bigger than a fish finger, even a child would still be hungry. They also are unable to cook pizzas, they were soggy. If the building sites were not there I would stay at Anchalee again, but the sites only look like they are just starting, so there will be noise for the next six months.

I stayed here for 6 days. For a Budget hotel, you cannot go wrong. There is a bar and restaurant separate to the hotel, which means for a better variety of food., which also includes Italian(cooked by an italian). The pool is clean and cool in the evening heat. The staff are very, plesent and kind. I think many people have problems with staff, because they do not bother to learn to say HELLO in the native tongue(It goes a long way). Menu prices are good, considering, competition.The rooms are clean, with towels every day or as required. There is an all important lift for the older person or luggage. You can probably find a cheaper bed, but likely....it's just a bed. I was sick on the day of leaving and left newly tailored clothes, by mistake. I thought they were gone for sure. After an E-mail and prompt reply, the owner located and dispatched them by post to my home.The owner lives there with his family, so he keeps a good eye on the place to make sure, all is ok, as it is his home to.

Ok. There's always going to be something your not 100% happy with.Generally i dismiss little things, as i have done the cheap and expensive stay in Phuket. I mention these only as a guide to those more picky. Yes you will get some insects, like in the sink(tiny ants), but i had these in a 4*. A kettle would have been nice, but, they have reasonable priced room service. You see i cannot punch to many holes. This is Thailand and this is a great Budget spot, If you want perfect, go to the Amari 4*.

200M from sea, 200m from bus stop to phuket town, quiet, easy for night shopping, etc...

Small choice for breakfast

Really friendly personal had no problem speaking English with them although they don't speak perfectly (almost no one in patong do). The restaurant is one of the best in Patong so we ate there a lot. Had one extra bed in the room without problem with staff. The rooms are a bit small for 3 persons though so would recommend taking an extra room instead of an extra bed. Bit of noise from the road didn't annoy us though. About 1 km from bangla road/Jungceylong. About 500m from the beach.

They have a pool which are clean but it's in shade almost all the day so don't expect to use it that much.

ANCHALEE酒店尽力了，作为一个欧洲人为了爱情娶了一个泰妹来说。挺理解老板的，他为了爱情付出了挺- 多的。但是作为经常出门的住客来说，这个小旅店经营的就是很不到位的。谈不上为旅客着想，当有问题找到老板- 的时候，他不会为你想的。可能是他为了生计去想，或是生活的艰辛，可以理解，但是当你是住客的时候，我不建- 议你住这个小旅馆。如果是价格的话，有很多位置更好的便宜的小旅馆。

أعجبني حمام السباحة ولو انه كان صغير الحجم ولكن كانوا يحرصون على تنظيفه باستمرار كما أعجبني حجم الغرفة الواسع والكبير وكثرة الخزانات والترفق

لم تعجبني رائحة الغرفة ولا رائحة الأسره وتضاربت كثيرا من كثرة وجود الحشرات والصراصير المبرقع داخل الغرفة ولا افكر ان اسكن بهذا الفندق في المره القادمة

Patong beach, shopping and dining is 10 min walk away. Taxi is right in front. Staff is very helpful though they need to improve their english. Excellent for budget travellers and those who do not care much for luxury, The family room is spacious and clean. Would stay at anchalee again.

Construction noise next door. Wish I came when construction not going on.

My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel offers an excellent range of facilities given that it is aimed at the budget end of the market. I would also recommend the food here which is cheap and tasty. I enjoyed my stay here and would return.

The location is excellent for the beach but it is a 15 - 20 minute walk to Bangla Road which is the centre for nightlife. This means you will plagued by people wanting to provide you with t shirts/ suit / taxi / massage etc for the entire length of the walk

Unhelpful staff-no water-poorly addressed.
