Nice and quite bay, good food and nice bungalow with all you need inside
A part of the resort is under construction and it comes noise and the beach in front of the resort is a bit dirty
Lovely room, food and beach. Nothing to do but chill - just what we needed.
Stung for the boat ride across to Koh Samet because we arrived after 5pm and again on minibus back to Bangkok where we were turfed off for locals.
Beautiful and quiet location with friendly staff and excellent food. A perfect hideaway for those who want to go away from the busy city life.
The bed is not standard and we got a bed that is so hard that we couldn't sleep well.
Only real hotel on beach no other popular bars drawing crowds Good swimming in the ventral part of the bay near pier Neat clean and well groomed gardens Adequate clean rooms.
only English language TV station was RT (Russian Television) and some interest but mainly propaganda Breakfast is only excellent when the hotel is full
The room could have been good but i was before the crocoach the dirty bed sheet the cold water the workers outside starting working at 8am
-dirt -welcoming -food (waited 1:30 for a pizza ketchup) -garbbage at the entrance
The Staff tried to be helpfull and nice!
I stayed in the hotel for 2nights and I hate the experience. The facilities were poor, the cleanliness were poor too (he got a bug inside bed), the breakfast wasn't good and with a lot of flies around the food. Lots of starving dogs around the beach and trying to attack us when we were walking on the beach at night. I will never go back there!
Peaceful place Excellent location, very close to sea Very good food in restaurant. Good breakfast
Path to our bungalo was just on ground, there was no stoned road, like to other bungalos.
Good staffing and food quality.
The jelly fish and rubbish strewn over the beach. Also hotel should provide correct indication of transport shuttle facilities instead of leaving tourists prey to racketeers /tip-off con artists at Ban Phe Pier. The experience left us with a bad taste of Ko Samed. Also it is obvious tourists will communicate with the outside world if this racket and soon trade will slow for Ko Samed.
Kindness of staff Breakfast is great Bedrooms are very pleasant
- Staff very friendly and well trained. - Restaurant with very good food. - Beach not over crowded. - Bungalow well maintained, clean. - Relaxed atmosphere. - Overall well organized and professionally run.
- No possibility to block light at glass brick window at night. - Drain in bathroom smelly. - Only one entry key per bungalow.
Facility is ok Quite area.
BEACH was rocky and many dead corals other beaches were better I find that this area had too few activities.
The location is superb! The staff is very friendly and helped us in different ways. Breakfast and dinner is right on the beach, good food and very relaxed.
Bungalows are good but nothing special.
Staff and resort were good, the food is good on the resort.
Not a great deal to do
Service, smells, food
The staff is very good.
This resort is perfect for doing nothing - not much is happening anywhere near. The facilities are adequate for that and staff are very attentive and willing to help. Excellent massage from local women at the next beach - just a short walk over the cliff. The resort a-la carte food is beautifully cooked - well worth of eating there virtually every night. A small library and good wifi everywhere - if doing nothing becomes boring.
Older rooms aren't looked after as much as they should be at this premium resort - old TV sets with no major international channels, uncomfortable bed and pillows, poor bathroom facilities. Breakfast is definitely sub-standard for resorts in this price category. Friendly, but always hungry dogs walking freely - same as everywhere on the island - maybe a problem for those with dog phobias.
Bad service ,bad smell everywhere
To the staff & management "HELLO" this is not an animal shelter or a zoo you are operating but is a resort,so you will be dealing with the public & will be expected to provide, what is called customer service, this entails putting down your mobile phone & taking care of the needs of your clients.
Cats & dogs in a restaurant begging for food at tables, where people are eating, should not be tolerated & is also a health & safety issue. Animals in any eating establishment should only be on the menu & served up on a plate as one of the Chef's culinary delights. The whole island stinks of raw sewage & the roads are shocking. We will not be returning.
- Construction going on right outside our "Deluxe" villa from 7 am to 6 pm, every day. - Breakfast is terrible - Staff needs to go to hospitality school - Mosquitos in room due to hole in door and walls - I've stayed in around 20 hottels the last year. This is the only one that charged me 3% FEE for credit card payment - Owner was on site touring the construction, didn't seem interested in apologizing for this mess
- Ao Cho is quite the nicest beach on Koh Samed so location is a big plus. - Hotel staff were just adorable.
- There were diseased animals running around all the time. I like animals but I also think that if they are living in the hotel area, the hotel should take care of them. - Beach is gorgeouss but the hotel should keep it clean. I mean keep the sand clean... We found f.exmp. a broken needle just near our feets sticking out of the white sand. :( also lots of other rubbish among the sand. - Right now there are constructions going on just beside the beach. Buy buy beach dreams and welcome a headache. I think this resort could be worth of the money we paid for it. Right now it just isnt.
good location，excellent sand and sea
so long time construction in working, noise from 8am to6pm
The beach is great and clean.
You don't have any cup for coffee available in the room.
The beach Ao Cho was clean, small and tranquil. The breakfast was OK. The resort complex was well groomed. Koh Samet is a nice island, less resorty and more local fisherman touch to it. Some nice rugged landscape.
The staff in general we found to be unfriendly, unwilling to help and not so diligent. Our original booking for double bed arrangement in Garden view bungalow was not met and the manager told us "double bed rooms all booked out, you can cancel and try to find another but the whole island is full". The room is about half the size and decor of the photos displayed is not accurate. Room was not dirty but not thoroughly cleaned. The room was not cleaned unless we asked for it at the reception - we didn't bother with it for 3 nights. The maids left two water bottles on the balcony table on the second day only. Cappuccino was terrible, never tried the food. Overall not a good experience at all, for the amount of money we paid.
It's a great and peaceful location.
The tv wasn't a flat screen like in other rooms. Color of the water was yellow. The toilet and floors weren't cleaned as they should have been. They only made one batch of pancakes, so have to go early if you like some.
