Ao Pong Resort  

The rooms were simple but comfortable. The owner was very helpful and easy going, picked us up from the pier and helped us with whatever advice we needed. The beach was very private and being cleaned constantly, with hammocks by the sea.

Insect screens made the room a little dark as there were no windows, only shutters otherwise.

It's a really calm place to relax.

Location, It has a private beach, really nice, full of palm trees and nature everywhere. Bungalows are okey, big enough for 2. Nice place, if you want to relax and do nothing, is perfect, I recomend this...

Bathroom full of ants, but well, when you are in the middle of the nature you can expect that. I think the price for the meals and drinks in the restaurant, are a little bit expensive. Advice, if u want to get into the sea, in the private beach, take shoes..

The position is perfect!a little paradise where you can take relax in front of the ocean!the owners are a kindly people and so friendly. The bungalow is big and clean with a terrace front sea!good food and cheaper prices!

The resort was wonderful, pure natural luxury! The rooms were simple yet clean and tidy. The view however and the service we received from Khun Rian was outstanding. There are only 8 bungalows on the beach so it felt very much like our own. I felt very much that whatever could be done to make our stay better would be done. Rian happily went out and bought extra things on request for us (diet coke and yogurt drinks) and would prepare whatever meals we wanted (however odd!) Thank you K Rian, we had a great time.

The bed was hard (however this is not uncommon in Thailand as Thai matresses tend to be)

Nice small hotel in Koh Mak. It is far from main beaches, but you can rent a bike (300B per 24 hours) or Tut Tuk (50 per person). Some god and cheap cafes are near the hotel, best sea food restaurant is near. The island is very small, beaches are good, but dirty, during low tide it is impossible to swim. We came from Koh Chang to Koh Mak for one night only, and were not able to swim at all.

Very simple rooms, not comfortable... but for few nights it is ok. Far from Ao Kao & Ao Suan Yai Beach.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Unterstuetzung bei allen Fragen. Excellente Kueche. Auch alternative Restaurants in der Naehe. Gepflegtes Resort. Ruhiges Ambiente. Schnorchelmoeglichkeit vor Ort.

Die Lage ist an der Ostseite der Insel, etwas entfernt von Geschaeften. Eher fuer Schnorcheln als fuer Schwimmer geeignet, da v.a. bei Ebbe felsig.

Die Besitzerin ist sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht.

Der Strand ist nur bedingt zum Baden geeignet. Mit ein paar Handgriffen könnte man einen schöneren Ort daraus machen, trotz unvorteilhafter Lage.

Отель замечательно подходит влюбленным парочкам и тем, кто хочет уединиться... Расположен уединенно, вдали от цивилизации. Бунгало не более 10 штук и заполняемость на момент моего посещения была 2 из 10. Хозяева милые и приветливые.

Одиноким девушкам отель не рекомендую, так как вечером и ночью страшновато... Кругом дикая природа, темнота...

Het strand kent veel scherpe voorwerpen:coraal, schelpen en stenen Harde matras, geen schoonmaak tijdens het verblijf, wel op verzoek handdoeken, toiletpapier en nieuwe afvalzakken. Geen mogelijheid om de kleren uit te hangen, geen eigen tafel, geen waterkoker

Koh Mak er en ganske liten øy,og Ao Pong Resort a private and quiet place on earth! Stranden utenfor de 5-6 bungalowene hadde først 10 m med stenete bunn,men videre ut herligste sandstrand! Vi var forberedt på dette og hadde med badesko. Derfor hadde vi den 200m lange stranden for oss selv.Luksus! Men det fantes nok av herlige strender nære ved.Ingen avstand,men kjekt å leie en liten scooter.Svært liten trafikk. Bungalowen var romslig,men svært enkelt utstyrt. Sengen var ganske hard, det var vel egentlig ingen madrass i det hele tatt!

Il posto è carina e senza pretese, isolato e tranquillo

Nella descrizione del l'albero dicono che è sulla spiaggia ed è vero, solo che è una mini spiagge tra in mezzo a molti sassi, niente di quello che ci si aspetta da quel l'isola...

I stayed here one week and I will surely come again! Small clean privat beach. Good snorkling spot. Here you can lie in one of the hammocks close to the water, snorkel or doing just nothing :-)

The mattress is far too old, but anyway, I slept really good.
