The deluxe room was of a decent size with a balcony, and of attractive contemporary design with wood. I particularly liked the wooden platform where the bed was, that extended beyond the sleeping area, providing informal seating off the mattress & towards the side wall. The bathroom was a good size, and fresh towels were folded into interesting designs and left on the bed daily. There were throw cushions provided that made for a more homely feel. The breakfast spread was adequate, and they do make fried eggs quite expertly. Staff at the tour counter was helpful, including providing info on a cheap local bus to the airport ( alright if you have 1.5h to spare for the bus journey which takes 20mins by taxi )

On one occasion around 9pm, the smell of cigarette smoke came through the a/c vent. This, I was told was because the a/c intake system was interlinked throughout the floor, and they presumably did not have non- smoking floors. This was rectified by a switch of rooms, but only after some discussion with the duty staff who did not communicate that clearly in English, and became agitated to the point of being rather brash. Door slamming in the mornings can be a problem as the residents tended to be the younger set, and the doors are not padded to prevent slamming. The pool is suitable only for dips, although the poolside is an attractive place.

Provided pretty much the same as much more expensive hotels we have stayed at in the past. The breakfast area and food was nicer than I expected, have had far worse for more money. Only spent two nights there but all went well, local shops very close by and 5-10 mins to the seafront and beach. Have visited Krabi previously and always feel the need to return, sorry Koh Samui but better by far. Krabi itself is probably the nicest place I have stayed in Thailand overall, it doesn't have the shopping malls but loads of choice to eat, Carnivores best steaks by far ever. Beach area and shops are great and Hong Island trip is the nicest boat trip I've ever done, laid back and beautiful, if a little lacking with the lunch.

The hotel staff are very friendly and the deluxe room is very comfortable and clean. Definitely recommended as it is considerably cheap and value for money.

Great, quiet location yet within walking distance of the beaches (or a short tuktuk ride if you're lazy - they're always present at the door). Hotel staff very friendly, room was big and with a view of the pool, bed was big and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection of both western stuff and Thai food. Hotel staff always happy to book tours for you (and try haggling, they always give a discount if you ask :) ). Great value for money!

Aircon broke but we were given a new room, so hardly a problem.

Staff are friendly, checked in very fast, very clean but it's a lil bit far from beach, you will need to pay for tuk tuk to get to the beach.

- I like room design - walking distance to the beach (5-10 minutes walk) - quite neighbourhood - helpful and nice personnel - really tasty breakfasts

- Noisy ac, - just one elevator for whole building, - pool closed too early, - should not be called "resort" if there is no place outside, e.g. park, garden, etc.

Friendliness of their staffs - they have been very helpful, smiling and greeting you whenever they see you. Great service - the front office could almost arrange anything you need for you at a very reasonable and fair price (ask them for airport transfer, it's probably cheapest and most comfortable than what you can get out there). The location is close enough to the beach but quiet for a good and relax moment. Shops and restaurants are by walking distance (closest at less than 1 min walk, the resort restaurant serves good food at good price).

Good place to stay at your vacations. Hotel is not far from beaches and center of ao nang, but is in quiet place. Very friendly staff, smiles everywhere, no bad English. Wi fi i-net free in lobby, 100bth per hour and 500 bth whole time in your room. Clean big room with balcony, good bathroom and shower there. Don't take first floor-room with pool-entry, everybody who swimming can watch for your life. Breakfast is not rich, but you can get fruits, thai food, crisp and other usual things every day. No ants or something like this in room, so important! Swimming pool is not large but very nice.

No good choice of tv channels, only 20, only one sport tv-channel, so go to bars to watch football, and one more no good thing - every day I left money tips to cleaning service, but they did little mistake every day, for example Once haven't cleaned a dirty towel, have forgotten to put bottles with water, haven't cleaned petals from old flowers. Small things, but nevertheless. So they get 4 of 5.
