The staff made you feel welcome from the very first moment & nothing was too much trouble. Loved the little green oasis in the middle of Bangkok. A little out of the way.

Very nice staff, rooms, atmosphere. Wifi did not work in my room, had to sit outside in the area with no air conditioning. Breakfast was nice, but there we almost no fruits. Hotel is quite far from the city center, about 30 -40 minutes by taxi or tuk tuk. But on the way to the airport.

Everything, the staff are extremely friendly and done to earth, funny, sarcastic, joking, informative. Basically they were real people. Not once did you feel uncomfortable or out of place. I took my 71yr old mother and she was overwhelmed by the whole experience. Just one negative and it's not that big a deal but the lighting in the room was dull. There were a lot of lights but not one that was bright enough to read a map by. There were bed lights, wall lights and table lights but it just needed one bright light, one that you could see clearly by.

So helpful staff (helped us to book our train far ahead before coming), nice vege cuisine, great design in the hotel and the rooms. This is an oasis of peace in the middle of Bangkok. It is easy to walk to the skytrain and visit the city.

Beautiful room, pool, excellent service (including a personal touch from the owner). Massage was excellent too. We enjoy vegetarian food but would prefer it to be 'true veggie' rather than 'meat substitutes'

I was looking for a small, personal hotel with historical character, and I found it! A beautiful oasis of calm and greenery where you can forget the mad traffic in the city. The owner and his staff were delightful and eager to assist. They gave their own personal recommendations for city travel and places to visit, and these turned out to be excellent. The hotel restaurant offers an outstanding range of tempting dishes - worth a visit just for a meal, even if you don't stay there. Try the fresh fig tart! No big-time shopping nearby, which might not suit everyone, but was excellent for me. You have to walk 10 min to the Sky Train to reach other parts of the city, but even this is a pleasure, when it's not raining.

Very tranquil setting in the heart of Bangkok, with friendly helpful staff. There should be information in the room re hotel facilities ,ie room service drinks ,food ,with prices .telephone and tv information. Etc . Foodwas not good ,at breakfast ,my wife and I ordered eggs Benedict.which was inedible .It had been baked in an oven the eggs were hard the hollandaise was hard saute potatoes were soggy. My croissant was soggy. At dinner I ordered fried fish cakes which were also inedible they were like rubber and had little taste .

This was a welcome oasis in the middle of a noisy busy city. Staff and management anticipated almost every wish. Dining was excellent, room also exceeded our expectations. If I had the opportunity to stay in any hotel in Bangkok at the same price, I would elect to stay at the Ariyasom villa. I hated to leave. I could live in this beautiful well managed small hotel!

1. vegetarian bacon is a contradiction in terms 2. the Khlong water-way connection is not practicable when the water level is too high (rainy season) due to insufficient clearance between boat tops and bridge bottoms. (You can tell that I'm desperate to find anything negative to say...)

Ariyasom Villa is a boutique hotel, not too big and a pleasant change to the larger hotels which are very impersonal. The room we stayed in was spacious, well designed and like the rest of the hotel had excellent excellent decor. We found the staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The meals offered on the vegetarian menu were delicious. The hotel is close to public transport (train), freeway to get to the airport and the international hospital. We and our friends were very happy with our stay at Ariyasom Villa and would most definitely come back to this hotel if we return to Bangkok. Everything about Ariyasom Villa was great!

All the staff were polite, friendly & helpful. Excellent fish & vegetarian food & ample beakfasts. The furniture & decor were tasteful & rooms comfortable, spotlessly clean & supplied with complementary fruit, bottled water & fruit drinks & teas. A variety of trees & flowering shrubs screened the pool & grounds from the hectic city life.

The location near the sky train was great, but the best part was the little oasis the hotel sits in, a gorgeous pool and rooms designed with Thai flair. All staff were very friendly and gracious and the hotel restaurant has some if the best Thai vegetarian food i have ever tasted. We loved our stay here!
