Asoke Residence Sukhumvit    

The over all experience-would like to come back again.

the breakfast could have been a little more elaborate.

We were upgraded at check in, which is always nice. Paul was extremely helpful with information that helped us plan our days in Bangkok. The room was spacious and the bed was the most comfortable I've had in SE Asia.

The small restaurant was decent but not great. The breakfast had good variety and fresh fruit.

no value for money. the tariffs are very high for the kind of hotel it is. Very very limited breakfast and that too available on self service basis only. Staff are indifferent and not very courteous. Totally avoidable hotel.

The apartment was spacious and good equiped, but you can tell it is already worn down. Anyways, good value for money.

The Comfort Feel of the room and staffs, Room are very spacious.

The location is a little hard to find, Map shown on booking.com of the hotel is not very clear. We ended up walking to Soi 19 Asoke residential.

Staff was excellent went an extra mile to call a restaurant to help us book for a table for dinner. There was a selection of the dvd to be on loaned no hassle there. Room size is big and comfortable toilet!

Nothing much to complain just the distance to the nearest bts is slightly far but to the mrt is only 10 mins walking distance

2nd Time staying here in a month and love this place. Its easy to get to many locations. Just learn how to take the public transports like boats, MRT, BTS. It will get you to places alot faster. Will stay here again fairly soon.

Location wise the hotel is out of the way from anything. Worst is the restaurant does closes after lunch. Buffet breakfast is so poor - I could not believe how booking.com has shown this hotel as 4-star. I have had much better breakfast in a number of 3-star hotels than this.

Very disappointed did not get what we were shown on booking.com. It seems that we were shifted into the older part of the residence which was old and not matching the photos shown on your sight. I booked this accommodation expecting a really nice spot however was bitterly disappointed. It was certainly not cleaned properly (I have photos to prove this). The staff seemed uninterested and were generally standing around outside drinking or on the Internet available for guests.

Excellent value for the money. A short walk to the MRT. Convenient having the 7-11 a one minute walk away. Clean pool. Great housekeeping staff.

Size of food portions (room service) was small. Front desk staff English was limited, but better their English was better than my Thai!

Large room but not so confortable. Pictures on the website are so different from the reality. Place is not convenient cause nothing around. Staff at counter not helpful at all. Expensive for the porr standart !!

The location is okay.

I have to admit - my expectation was higher than the reality, even though I read lots of reviews for this hotel by others. Location is fair, no doubt about lots of walk is needed, not really near BTS, expecially for family with young kid like us. our room is so called deluxe studio, we booked a room via booking.com, which promises a balcony and a king size bed, neither of them happend. In fact, the wall of our room is rather dirty with plenty of stains and marks. We checked - in at 1am on Monday and checked out at 4am on Sun, both very early morning respectively. We tried to ask for upgrade three times, they were all turned down. Well, what a shame. Honestly, I won't recommend if any of my friends are visiting Bangkok. Sorry.

The staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. Location of the Asoke is really very central.

First, the hot water switch did not work and second the shower mounting was broken meaning a frustrating cold shower with one hand. The discovery of this dissapointment was after I'd unpacked and was in a rush to get out, so I did not bother with a room change. Room wasn't quite like the picture as the living area seemed less inviting than the photos.

The size of the room

Breakfast horrible..no iron,,no iron board, and does not deserve 4 star at all.

It was in a good location, room sizes were superb for a family and good value.

3 unexpected guests knocking the door at 11pm was not good! They had the wrong room but hotel security should be better than that. If there is a visitor for the guests then there should be a phone call to the room first!
