the rooms are spacious and extraordinary, they are well decorated, clean and comfortable. the hotel design and atmosphere makes you feel you're living in a fairy tale. the pool is very inviting and their coffee in the breakfast is the best I tasted.

there is a construction going on right next to the hotel, and very noisy during the day from 9:00 to 17:00. and the hotel didn't put a notice regarding this issue when we booked. which was unpleasant surprise. but since we usually spent our time out during the day. it wasn't critical.

The design of the hotel is very nice, especially the pool area

It's outside of the inner city ring (close to the airport), therefore it's hard to get a taxi at night because they don't want to go that way and they increase the price There is a construction next to the building, mostly between 9 am to 5:30pm. And the noise is unbearable even if you're on the other side of the hotel. The construction is at foundation stage and goes very slow so I don't think it will be finished soon. The breakfast is too Asian. The drinks were too bad (tea, coffee, juices). The pool is not heated and does not receive much sun, so feels cold. It's true that some rooms have bath tub, some not. Also, there is no balcony with standard rooms. Bathrooms are too humid and there is a weird humid smell. Also you can see humid on the walls so looks like they will need to renew soon. All channels on TV are asian so nothing English to watch.

    - Large rooms, large bathrooms - Quiet area (except for construction site next door - but that will eventually finish). They only work between 9am-4pm; and that is when I was out - so no issue.

    - Poor Wi-Fi reception {slow, hit and miss} - Being told as a guest, not to park hire scooter in guest parking. Had to park with staff scooters - Buffet breakfasts; orientated to Chinese guests instead of local / western. Food turnover low, therefore questioned freshness. Ate at local eateries. - Tiled corridors. Noise echoes and with late arrivals very noisy. Asians by culture are noisy, therefore awakened late every night as people entered their rooms - Room service cleaner always left door unlocked after servicing room. Disturbing that room was not locked through the day whilst I was out.

Nice decoration and room is comfortable and very clean.

The hotel is far from the main road so it will be good if you have your own car or rent a car

The clean feeling and the hardware of the hotel. Room got 1 bed of 1.8m and small bed of 1m. Which is great for couple with 1 kid.

Noise from construction at daytime beside hotel and music at restaurant from outside behind hotel at night.

The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and the swimming pool/ breakfast areas are also good. They have bicycles to use for free, we take the ride to the zoo witch was very pleasant.

Location is a little bit far from city centre (15 min walk), but nearby there is a street food called "ninman" where you can find good restaurants and coffee shops. The staff doesn't speak much english, the communication is very hard. The breakfast is almost everything thai.

This is a hotel which will give you a true Asian experience. It is not far away from the hip neighbourhood. You can walk up there and enjoy dinner in some of the many authentic locations. The old city centre is not that far away, just a 20 to 40 Baht ride away with the red shared cars. The hotel has a pool, but the water is not heated. The breakfast is for 90% Asian, so don't expect a lot of bread, cheese and ham but true asian breakfast dishes with rice, cooked vegetables and meat. The decor is beautiful, beginning 20th century, but it is all modern facilities. There is loads of free parking space if you rent a car. The price is really worth it.

There wifi was still in test when we stayed at the hotel, and therefore was not always up to speed or available. The windows do not close hermetically, so do take a mosquito net with you, because there is a lot of mosquitos in the area. But if you have the net, no problems at all.

Hotel provides a very good breakfast choices and service. They do provide a bicycle for easy city trip and accessible to the trendy Nimman Haemin Road for meals and nightlife and the zoo. Plenty of parking lot. Beautiful design, comfy bed, good breakfast, what else could you ask for?

Location may be a bit inconvenient for those who do not have a car but the hotel may provide a service to eliminate that weak point and I also saw a bicycle. However, I did not know if there is a schedule or if the rental is really provided as I already rented a car.
