This resort is located on the beach to the northern end of Chaweng Beach - so free of loud party noise and fireworks.

Its quiet and private, we had a pool villa and loved it. The beach is awesome, we stayed at another place down the beach a bit also but prefered swimming out from here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms where clean and comfy. Note its much easier to walk along the beach to chaweng shops and bars, then trying to walk on the footpath.

Ive nothing bad to say about this resort.

The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. There was no privacy as the bathroom door was clear glass.

Need a lot more light in rooms, especially over the tea/coffee making facilities. Pool deck is uneven and needs maintenance. A handrail at the pool steps would be helpful for older people.

We really enjoy our stayed in Baan Haad Ngam. Please book for Pool Villa, it was so amazing! Every thing you need for special vacation is there. Highly recommended for everyone, especially a couple or honeymooner.

We booked two villa, but when we arrived, they told us that they have only one villa left! Although they managed to transfer 2 of us to another hotel nearby and upgrade the room the next day, but it's really an unhappy experience. Besides, the other hotel was not very good.

Loved: pool villa, chicken Penang from room service, general manger, cleanliness, location to chaweng, breakfast buffet.

The tour desk at the hotel seemed unorganized - and there could have been more of a connection between front desk and concierge.

We stayed in a pool villa and absolutely loved it! Decent sized room, very clean & modern. Staff were brilliant!

Only a small thing but there's not much beach directly out the front of this resort. You only have to walk about 50-100 metres to find a spot to sun-bake though so it's not too bad.

Lovely hotel, staff, cocktails etc!!! Was nice to have a quite location, but only 10 mins down the beach for shops, bars when needed. Really enjoyed the week. :)

The only annoying thing I found was that guests found it acceptable to use the sun loungers and then clear off to the beach/lunch/town and keep towels and items on the loungers. Whilst this is not the fault of the hotel I feel that rules should be displayed telling guests that if loungers are left for 1hr or longer the towels and items will be removed so other guests can use them. Breakfast time books/magazines were put on the loungers and the guests came down hours later. People who go out in the morning would come back later, and no loungers were free, although many were empty.

Probably the only redeeming aspect was the two for one happy hour.

There was no beach outside the hotel. The winter tides were too high and the beach was only accessible by wading in 2 foot of water. The layout of the hotel is not suitable for toddlers. Lots of concrete with sharp edges. Paths were designed as stepping stones through the water feature. Resturaunt staff were fairly innatentive and seemed to prefer chatting to each other. Pool was run down and old. Slippery bathroom style tiles with sharp and chipped edges. Wooden planks that weren't fastened down properly. Quite noisy. Attempts to have a relaxing spa feel but once the first impression fades it is quite disappointing. Far too expensive for what is offered in return.

We spent 3 nights at pool villa room v2. We experienced good welcome service from staff, flower, welcome drink and towel and fruit basket. Room and pool is clean. Nice details with romantic lighting , good wifi, comfy bed, big LCD tv, small audio system, bath robes, umbrellas and rain type shower is excellent. Complimentary shuttle to chaweng is efficient and we use it almost daily. Staff is helpful to recommend places of interest. But do bring along mosquito repellent. The staff deserve some tips for their efficient and great hospitality. Just outside the hotel, you can book island tour, car and motorcycle rental too. Pharmacy and convenience store is within walking distance.

For the price that we are paying, we cannot complain much.

We were told we would have our own personal butler, but we didn't. Not all staff were as helpful as others.

Pool villa is amazingly located on the upper floor and has exellent veiw. Room designed very pirvate but has open view to the surroundings. Highly recommended to couples.

We loved everything about Baan Haad Ngam! The staff were very friendly and the complementary shuttle into Chaweng 4 times a day was very handy. Our pool villa was stunning! Their restaurant Olivio was a great Italian dining experience set on the beach. Strongly reccommend this resort for couples... Can't wait to go back one day!

The swimming pool is a big shock. There is no access to the beach.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in me and my girlfriend were very pleased. Staff were amazing couldn't do enuff to help you. I will be going back soon. Love The place. Room was amazing aswell as food. Top top resort
