Lady working there is wonderful. Room really clean! She can do your laundry for a small fee. Clothes were extremely clean, smelled really good after. They are building a cafe next so you can have breakfast and meals, great idea. Wifi is wonderful, really fast! Central in Chaing Mai.
Shower missed a bit of water pressure but good temperature. Beds were not the most comfortable but were still good.
It's clean, air conditioned and quiet for how central it is.
Not very social. Rooms not huge. Ceilings very low.
Good location and room was spotless, staff were very friendly
Advertised as a hostel but os really a hotel/guest house, no dorm rooms or social area
My room was quite spacious ,clean and comfortable room.
My room window was facing the alley so it was a bit noisy at night and early morning.
everything is good
near tha pae gate, and local market selling fruits and vegetables.
Spacious room with teak floor and antiques in the hall of the house. Loved that. Clean. Perfect place for staying as a solo traveller. Safe. And nice coffee bar + terrace downstairs for a drink (no noise btw).
Ask for a towel, they are not in the room. They will provide them for free.
Great location, extremely nice room and very helpful and pleasant lady. Would definitely recommend to all.
the location is really good, very convenient, near the gate. The room is clean and tidy. But it is more like a home inn than a hotel. In sum, it is quite good.
Very friendly, good apartment, top location
Central / clean / homely
When asking for the location of the red minivans to Doi Suthep (~50baht) we were denied an answer and were given a folder for a 600 baht tour as the only option, pity.
Perfect location, right by Tha phea gate. Clean and comfortable room. Free shuttle bus service across the road (amora hotel) to central plaza airport mall and promenade shopping mall.
I was stayed for 3 nights, it was good, except the direction, another hotel with name slightly the same, make sure the correct name and address to taxi driver or taxi operator.
I gave the staff a good rating as the lady who runs the hotel helped me find another hotel. I arrived after a long day's travelling and a confirmed booking to be told that there wasn't a room for me!
That there wasn't a room available for me even though I had a confirmed booking.
I had a very good time at Baan Klang Vieng. My room was quite spacious and very clean. The bathroom was small but that was no problem. In the area around you have a lot of restaurants and bar where you can find good food. Would go back and stay there again.
Despite a confirmed booking, the hotel had no rooms available !!!
The room was very clean and the lady was helpful.
It's located next to a small alley which is used by motorcycles. My room window was facing the alley so it was a bit noisy at night and early morning.
Beautiful, big rooms. Very convenient location. Friendly owners. Next door are a coffee shop with excellent coffee and a decent massage place. A breakfast place opening at 7am also 1min away.
It was a bit noisy, both in my room on the ground floor as well as in my parents' room on the first floor.
A very good value for money. A very good location. The room was very clean and comfortale. The lady was very nice and helpful.
Good location, just inside old city perimeter road so quiet. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by. Wifi was fast
Maybe a little expensive by Chiang Mai standards
Good place 4 clean freak like me,clean and quiet, next time i will bring my family here!干净，适合有点小洁癖的人（比如我），以后会带家人来
Maybe add some service, like clean the bed or change flat sheet.
Run by lovely couple which gave a homely feel. Very comfy big bed, large room and great location near Thapae gate. Very clean, lovely courtyard with excellent coffee shop. Very good value, had a great stay.
We stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect. Staff are very polite and helpful, the location is perfect a 5 minute walk from the central square. Close to everything we needed and fab laundry service across the road. The 'hostel' is immaculate, the cleanest place we've stayed so far. We'd read the reviews about the little coffee shop next door, all true! We'd also like to highlight on the other side is a brilliant Thai masseur. They really looked after us and it was exactly what they advertise, we had 1 hour of foot reflexology and 1 hour of back neck shoulders. They clean everyone's feet prior with lime and provide tea afterwards. Bed was firm but to my taste, 3 brilliant nights sleep. Would definitely return here!
