The resort was located in rural area, so it was really quiet. It took you 10 minutes to ride a bike to the Historical Park. And you could see so much rural scenery and pass by some historical sites.
If you went back to the resort after dark, you may need a flashlight because there was no street lamp and it was really dark.
Staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. Good value for money, you get a nice, well isolated bungalow with silent airconditioner. Resort offers bikes which take you in an easy bike ride of no more than 10 minutes to the historical park.
Our bungalow wasn't very spacious, there's a closet for some clothes and possibly your suitcase or back, but if you don't stay long you don't fully unpack and your backpack is in the way.
Nice comfortable bungalows by the river
A bit away from the town, you need a bicycle to reach it.
Very quiet .. Peaceful Nice setting Staff very helpful
Bed like a rock !! Quite a distance from Sokhothai park by bike No in room facilities. Restaurant closed
the hotel was nice overall and the staff helpful. They can cook as well if you don't want to go in town and the young owner can drive you around. 10mins from the ruins by bike
Event though we were the only clients we were given the 2 worst bungalows. We found many rat excrements in ours, and the cleaningness was poor overall. There is a pond nearby so it's full of mosquitos. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the roads are dark so do not expect to go around without a car by night (still takes 10mins only to go to the ruins by bike) Not really a good deal from our experience.
Nature around the hotel, owner friendliness
Mosquitos (a lot of them and really aggressive), a bit far from interesting sights, restaurant closed from April to September so you had to find your way to go to the city center to get food/drinks
location is great , close to historical park, you can ride a bicycle, around 1.5 km. Very private zone... staying alone in the jungle, they have new house and own one. then it is your choice. The owner is great to take care us for breakfast.
the photo in the website is quite different from the real one. we got a bit old little house, we use only one quick night before heading back. The cleanliness in the room should be improve, the bathroom is smelly from less air circulation.
The location was not too far from the Historical Park, and was bike-able with their rental bikes (although might be a little far out for some if you are considering doing that). Our limited interactions with the owners were very pleasant, and they were all very nice. The grounds are quiet and it is green and lovely out at Baan Rim Klong. We enjoyed our stay overall and would return again.
One of the bikes that they aired the tires up for us to use ended up being a bit of a dud (wobbly tire and very loose steering that we had to get tightened while in town), which made it less enjoyable biking the not insignificant distance to the Historical Park in some relatively heavily trafficked areas.
Peacefully quiet. It lacks the luxuries of many other resorts, but that isn't really the point. Simplicity is the key here, to provide a zen like sanctuary, perfect for relaxation and reflection. The charming family that run the place are very helpful and accommodating. Great place.
The staff were extremely helpful - ready to give you a ride to anywhere and pick you up at your convenience. The homecooking was also great!
Very friendly owner and really helpful. Room was very clean and comfy. Good location also.
Quiet green location close to historic park Friendly helpful staff Very nice bungalows Good price
Beds rather hard
peaceful quite close to old city area
location direction online got some problem, we totally took a wrong turn. But actually u should be able to see their sign right before the last turn. So don't trust ur googlemap too much
Lovely cottage in good condition, nice garden, the room we stayed is one of the smallest, everything was fine but would be better if there is desk in the room (there are stone table & stools on the on the lawn just outside the cottage). The boss is nice and very helpful. You can have your transpotation arranged here or ask for advice only, price is the same.
A lot of mosquitoes even in the winter! Do wrap your self good at night. Wifi is only available around reception office and it is really really slow! Way to the hotel is too far to walk from old town bus station/park entrance, it took us 15 mins by biking, and the lane from main road to hotel (around 600 metres) is very dark, without any lighting at night.
Location, it was very close to the historical Park. Very clean and very well taking care off. Food was very good.
Wi-Fi only near the reception.
The entire family that run this resort bend over backwards to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The resort is peaceful and calming and I reccomend it to everybody,
The location is a little isolated.
Cosy bungalows and friendly staff.
Hotel is outside of Old Sukhothai, more or less in the middle of nowhere. No dining options / shops within a 30min walk / 10min bike ride.
Location was exceptional because it was close to the Historic Park and multiple food locations. Staff superb. Breakfast ok, Facilities and cleanliness overall were great
1 thing only - the mattress on the bed was poor quality. It was lumpy and the springs hit the back in uncomfortable locations.
room so small, smell in bathroom.
Wonderfull place, peacefull room and garden, located in the old city so you can rent a bike to visit the archeological park; this accomodation is run by a family that will help you with everything you need.
wi-fi is not working, but you can use the guest computer
