The owners of Grey House are lovely people. They gave me my space, and also did things to make me feel like a part of their family. They took me grocery shopping with them, introduced me to local markets and temples, and assisted me with securing rides into town for business. The house is kept very clean with a simple elegance, and is in a quiet peaceful environment. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. I had lots of private time to myself, yet felt looked after. I was invited to pick vegetables, herbs and berries from their garden, and even participated in the families Loy Krathong festivities. Breakfast often included produce right from their gardens. I prepared dinner for myself most nights in the traditional Thai kitchen. The place is beautiful and secluded with so many interesting things to see right on the property. I really enjoyed my time there, and would return. Thank you Nas, Jaep, Namo, Mother, and Father🙏

Great hotel, great staffs very helpful, delicious food and stunning infinity pool with a beautiful sunset view. Location is good and very calm with beautiful mountains around.
Good for relaxing but not for visiting around the city. Quite remote location.
Insects and lizards are expected given that the hotel is located close to a Jungle (+ Tropical Country)

Hotel staff was amazing. The elephants were a whole experience. The food was amazing. And you get to help a great cause.
Mae Wang itself has nothing interesting. However, the environment is very interesting and the fact that via Mae Wang it is possible to enter Doi Inthanon, an alternative entry point from the main point of entry, makes it an attractive alternative.
We loved the hotel and the elephants. All the staffs are friendly and kind. Everyone took very good care of us and we will definitely come back! We're glad our money went to the elephant care and to the people who take care of them.
The elephants are amazing to see walking around the hotel area. Nice, clean bungalow. Staff were plentiful and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.
