Location, helpful staff who all spoke english to a good level, ready assist at any time.Room was comfortable and for the price a good value.Would definitely book there again.
The location was very good. Close to everything yet quiet to sleep. The friendly staff made my stay very enjoyable.
Staff were really great, booked for 3 days but stayed a week! Tour booking/ transport available through reception. Linen changed after 3 days. Faultless.
If I had to be picky, there was no holder for shower head so had to hold it while showering but the room was clean and airy. We were really happy with Ban Wiang
Good location, quiet yet near to everything.Nice, bright room on the 3rd floor - wifi was excellent.
Not really a negative, but be sure to ask to see more than one room if possible.301 has a fridge, some don't.The bed wasn't the greatest - the mattress was too big for the frame which had caused some of the springs to bend.Bathroom is the smallest I've ever seen.Wiring is a mishmash of extension cords as both the rooms I saw had only 1 electrical outlet.
Excellent location on a quiet side street, in the historic centre. Good choice of restaurants and cafes nearby. Friendly and helpful staff.
Fantastic location and price. Very clean rooms that are well equipped with hot shower, comfy bed, tv, fridge, air con. This is definetly the best place I have stayed in Thailand for the price. I became extremely sick while I was in chiang Mai and I was so lucky to have such a good room to recover in. Staff also extremely helpful and friendly.
Nothing. Cannot be faulted.
Location. In the center of Chiang Mai in a quiet little street
Would be nice if the bathroom was a bit cleaner.
Like most hotels that are in the backpacker range, they tend to be rather stingy and offer little service (ie, rooms serviced on the third day, one toilet roll for two days per couple). I sort of understand the hotels wanting payment at check in and key deposits etc, but not all travellers are stealing towels and loo rolls (always wondered what they need such big packs for!) just replace the dead light bulbs when needed and mabe a few small shampoos, there are plenty of cheaper hotels in Thailand that do things much better.
simple but cozy place
Room was not ready when we arrived late afternoon. Room was not in good condition. Map on website is inaccurate. Have stayed in Chiang Mai several times at better places within same price range!
Very nice, like home place! Suitable for living long time
Brilliant location in a great city, with friendly and helpful staff.
Room was fairly small and not the cleanest we stayed in during our trip to Thailand but it did have a little balcony space. It wasn't somewhere you'd want to hang out but was more than adequate as a base.
helpful staff and good location in the old city.
Rooms are not the best but they worth the price.
excellent service and staff. They are So kind.very convient for visiting chiang mai old City.
If u re sensible of voice, dont choose here。

- the staff is friendly and helpful - very quiet - very clean
- OK the breakfast is not that big. But don't care about it, the hostel is great!
Nice reception at arrival, great tips from staff. Good location; really close to many attractions and good eating and drinking establishments, while guest house is located in a quiet side street from the main road.
Great staff, cheap, clean.
Enter to the room was depends on the other person's check out (and it's not always early as mentioned).
I like everything . the room was neat , the staff helpful.so it was A great stay.
