The staff at Banburee could not have been more helpful, the Villas are amazing, spacious, comfortable and very clean. The restaurant served high quality meals at reasonable prices. They have a free shuttle bus but it only runs into town three times once at 1100, then 2000 then 2300, in between that is a 400baht taxi (around 8pounds). We ended up staying an extra night because we loved it so much and would have stayed longer if we time allowed! We HIGHLY recommend Banburee if you want a quite peaceful holiday!

Mooie omgeving en goed verzorgd hotel. De Spa is een aanrader. Het hotel ligt aan het strand, maar er is geen zand om op te wandelen en je kan er niet zwemmen. Het ontbijt is erg beperkt en geen afwisseling.

We hebben het meest van de rust genoten en de aandacht wat het personeel van banburee ons gaf, dit was in een woord geweldig. Het was er erg rustig en het leek wel of we een prive resort hadden, dit komt warschijnlijk door de tijd van het jaar, we waren er nl 21 juli 2011, dan is het daar geen hoogseizoen. voor ons was het dan ook zeer aangenaam Echter een klein minpuntje is: het resort ligt vrij achteraf en je kunt nergens lopend naar toe, dus je bent afhangkelijk van vervoer, n kregen wij echter deze service van het hotel, dus ! super geregeld.

Das gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, für rund 90 Euro gibt es eine luxuriöse Villa mit 2 Zimmern zu mieten. Ausserdem gibt es an dieser Lage nicht viele Touristen wie am Chaweng-Beach, also ideal für Reisende, welche etwas Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit fernab vom Massentourismus brauchen. Ausserdem waren die Hotelmitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen und immer bemüht, zu helfen. Der Strand war nicht ideal zum Schwimmen. Wir waren im April dort und an der gesamten Südküste war ab Mittag eine starke Ebbe und der Strand praktisch ohne Wasser. Schönere Strände gibt es eher im Osten oder Norden von Koh Samui. Ausserdem liegt das Hotel etwas abgeschieden in einem Waldabschnitt und man braucht ein Motorrad oder Auto, um zum nächsten Ort (Lamai) zu gelangen. Im Umkreis von ca. 3-4 Kilometern gibts praktisch keine Restaurants. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist zu überteuert für das sehr dürftige und nicht empfehlenswerte Essen. Spa- Möglichkeiten sind auch deutlich überteuert, die Massagen kriegt man in Lamai fast für einen Viertel des Preises, leider!

The pool is quite nice. The resort is on a hill so if you are lucky you get a nice view over the sea. The staff wasn´t particularly friendly or helpful. We were quite surprised that for a highly rated resort their English was very poor making communication rather difficult. We have read through the many very positive reviews and therefore had high expectations that were not met... Is it because we didn´t decide to stay in the bungalows/villas and stayed in the luxury rooms instead? The room we stayed in is in the main building and lacked comfort and character.

Everything. We just got exactly what we were looking for: relax, sea view, tranquility. Banburee is beautiful, the staff id extremely nice. It was a great way to spend time during the tropical storm that came on january 1st.
