Check in and out was really smooth. Location was great, close to shopping and some good cheap restaurants if you go off the main beach road! Facilities were clean and modern. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was also great! Would definitely stay again

Little bit of a walk to Banlgar Road but well worth it for the facilities and staff

Banthai was very nice and location was awesome but was not worth the money spent.

Price, could definately find something nicer and in a good location for cheaper.

The Resort, itself, the grounds, building, design, bar, pool was beautiful. The gym great, very new equipment, and surroundings were very pretty. Location is right next to beach so you have the option of walking everywhere which was what I preferred - it was only 5 minutes from Bangla if you want to go out or shopping., But also not right in the busy streets of the commotion either. Unfortunately the evening dinner restaurant had a band on all night, every night, that finished at around 1.30 am. Which is definately not suitable if you want to sleep. This was most annoying about the set up. Not a quiet hotel if rest is what you want. I wanted a mixture but it didnt really work that way. During the day the bar was was fairly noisy depending on music and the children playing. So it depends what you want, quality, 4 star balanced with the choise of not being in a noisy environment. This hotel set up was not good for resting - all rooms are by the pool and regardless of the area, you can hear the band in the evenings from all parts of the hotel as it is all open.

Service from reception staff, really disapointingc. 5 people at reception, only one can (barely) speak English. Only one can do one thing. The gym reception could neither speak English enough for a 4 star resort. Honestly in the end no matter what help you requested, its took too much effort to ask and in the end you just think its not work stressing and work it out yourself. The location of this hotel was my priority. The pool area was beautiful and made up for it but it depends what you are looking for. Unfortunately, definately not good customer service for a 4 star. What you would expect from a 4 star hotel if you complain is that they will address the issue and not just stand there and say "we know mamm, we apologize we sorry". It doesnt help or resolve the issue and definately does not make you happy when the cost is about 140 per night.. Nevertheless the cleaning staff were fantastic, and the bar staff also fantastic. But it stops there.

Location & design

The hotel spa facility is very good ,the gym needs to have additional walkers ,and the way the facility is located to the restaurant and close to-outside facilities were it is posable to charge the account to you hotel bill is excellent ,the area is clean.,and pool great ,however there needs to be some urgent attention given to the beach ,it's the first time I have not swam in the see ever and have visited many times over some 15 years ,the water and surounds are not up to a standard I expect ,and the traffic that travels the road at the front needs to have restrictions far to fast for me ,traffic at say 15 kilometers is about rite ,maybe you can suggest to the tourist body ,other than that ,you have a great facility ,regards Dave

Five star for money value and clean

The staff were extremely friendly,i have never seen it in any other hotel. Location is just near by everything.i felt it was just perfect for myself and family with baby 2 years old.do not hesitate to book in this hotel

The location.

It exceeds my expectations! The hotel was beautifully designed and the staffs were very helpful. It was really near to the beach, shopping kiosks and the happening nightlife.

Pool

The hotel was undergoing renovations. That makes it hard to make a judgement. However I would go back there and look forward to seeing the finished renovations.

The location is perfect.

When we checked in their eftpos machine didn't work. They then told me my card was declined - that was impossible. After asking if we can try it again in the morning due to their machine not working, I was told no & had to pay the whole amount in cash before we could check in.
