Interior design, atmosphere at the hotel,it gives a feeling of calmness. Fantastic roof-top restaurant/bar view and set-up. They forgot to turn off the alarm clock from the former guest, it went off very early;) small detail but still....

The staff are generally nice and helpful When I checked out, they charged me a higher rate than the rate specificed on booking.com claiming the VAT and service charge are not included in my Booking.com rate which was not true at all, However, as I packed my booking.com printout, so I had no proof and it was simply a waste of time debating with the hotel staff as they did not even try to verify what I said. End up I need to sign off the wrong rate and then write the management a letter the next day with my booking.com printout to revert the charges. It was very annoying although the hotel management sent me an apology email after that but I think this is very poor management especially for Banyan Tree. Would not recommend my friends to go as the location is also off the CBD where there are some better hotels at better rate.

Very comfortable and homely hotel. The staff are extremely warm and friendly, and after a hot day out in Bangkok, you really do want to retire to the urban sanctuary that is the Banyan Tree. The hotel is really getting old and they should do some upgrades really soon. Some things in the room are broken (shower gel pumps etc.), nothing major, but a 5 star establishment should look out for these details.

I like the day time Customer relationship manager(a not so skinny one). He was doing his job right, even if I looked like a backpacker. He was always smiling and talking in a delightful tone. Room was good. View was quite nice. I stayed at 38th floor. the pool seems a little bit small for a with so many rooms. I might like bar; however, it rained that night. so it was closed. what a pity. I believe the restaurant's are excellent, I see a lot of people coming in for dinner. The customer relationship manager during daytime was extremely nice(the not so skinny one); however, the manager during night time (skinny guy) was kind of impatience when I asked for some directions. It seems to me like because I am this young Asian guy, so I believe he didn't really felt that helping out and try to understand my needs. It was really just a easy question: "May I ask where should I go, if I were to do some last minute shopping?" And his answer was so ridiculous, He answered mean in a tone I don't really like: "The last minute shopping could be done at the airport." He doesn't sound funny like he was making a joke. I can take a joke. And he didn't continue to think of a place to recommend. So I continued asking some places I see on the map. Anyway, My point is he was the most impolite hotel staff I have encountered my whole trip asking for recommendations. And this was the only 5 star hotel I stayed in during the whole trip. I don't think building a tall building and great specs make you a 5 star hotel. Its the service you provide makes you the best. In this case, I don't think you're there yet. I wasn't happy paying the price for this kind of service.

Simply everything ! I did not know about Banyan Tree prior to my stay in Bangkok but I have to admit the experience was 200% worth it. Stunning rooms, Friendly staff everywhere, ask the concierge to organize your day and visit and just relax, they will take care of every single detail. Don't leave before trying the 21st floor pool, and the 61st floor bar and/or restaurant ! Will be looking for Banyan Trees hotels everywhere in world from now on - the value for money is absolutely worth it !

Banyan Tree is a very nice, upper class hotel. The breakfast is great and offers many different options (including European and Asian food). The bar on the roof top is a highlight, I liked it more than the restaurant Vertigo. Do not miss out a relaxing dip in the swimming pool with nice surrouding and a great view over Bangkok. One the first night I had the impression that my room was not entirely clean, though on the second day it was.

I've stayed at Banyan Tree Bangkok tree times now, and will for sure return. Have tried a couple different hotels in Bangkok, but non of them come up to Banyan Tree's great atmosphere and polite staff. The wiews from The Vertigo on the roof of the hotel is stunning! Will absolutely recomend the hotel.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the conceirge and personally led to the check-in counter. We arrived early before the official check-in time but were given a room within 15 minutes. This was the first time we were being personally led up to our room by our check-in officer. Except for the old CTV with a very old remote control, we are very pleased with our room. We also appreciate the seperate living room as we are bringing our daughter along in this trip. She could sleep early in the bedroom and we can still enjoy the rest of the night without disturbing her. The housekeeping team will send in little gifts during evening times. We also appreciate the unlimited supply of drinking water which most hotels are very stingy about. Breakfast spread was good too. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in this hotel and will definitely consider to stay here again with a reasonable price. We will appreciate if the hotel can upgrade their televisions soon.

As a frequent traveller and editor-in-chief of a travel magazine I´m not easily impressed, but Banyan Tree Bangkok was a pleasure to visit. At a very reasonable price I had a great room on club level and was taken care of in the best possible way. Simple things, as the state of the complementary laundry when it was delivered back to my room, was remarkable. Dinner at the Vertigo was great too - in my opinion better than the slightly more upbeat Scirocco. Thanks to the friendly staff for making the stay so enjoyable. See you next time! Slightly caotic at the entrance from time to time. It should be unnecessary to wait 10 min for a taxi (together with at least 10 others in the same situation). Get the cabbies to line up in front of the hotel for instant departure, please. The concierge desk was helpful but could have been more hands on and knowledgeable.

Very nice hotel with Magic view over Bangkok. Very nice resturants. Tried Vertigo(roof top resturant) Saffron & Romsai during the stay. Prices in the resturants are extremely high compard with Thailand in general. Dinner on vertigo around 300€ for 2 , but very nice food and service, and the view is a memory for life:) Saffron is thai cusine resturant in 52nd floor, nice view and there is also a outdoor bar there where you can enjoy view and nice cocktails. But this isnt a hotel for budget holiday. The room was in 47 floor. Premier floor, spacious room with fantastic view. Nice and comfy bed and rather large barhroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. However some language barriers. Will recommend the hotel for others and go back here next time ill go to bangkok;) In shower there sas only a fixed showerhead at the wall, should be a showerhead with hose in a nice hotel like this. Lightning in bedroom could be bettter.

Banyan Tree Bangkok is a concept of luxe (the room is to class, restaurant and bar Vertigo is a place to see), but also a welknown concept and spa & detente, the reason of our choice to stay in Banyan Tree (in the club executive, a massage of 10 minutes is offered to all guests, the massage service is one of the best in chain hotel) but also the hotel offers an easy location by car or metro to all major places in Bangkok. A perfect place for a weekend of shopping and detente. The time of registration, despite the club executive, is very long.

Luxury hotel, good rooms, nice breakfast, great restaurants The hotel charges around 700 Baht per day to use the internet in your room I find this way overprices and I think for a 5 star property and the rate this should be included in the rate, especially a business class hotel, or if not possible, raise the room rate and include it in the price.
