Most of the staff were really friendly and any observations we had about the rooms were dealt with very quickly. When one of our group wanted to change his room he was treated very courteously and he was moved witihn 2 hours, we liked that! All in all the service was good. The pool area surrounded by the hotel) is not big enough to get the sun, this is not the impression from the pictures. Cheap rooms are cramped with no views of walls and no hot water for the bathroom sink. I wouldn't recommend anything other than a deluxe or better. We upgraded from Superior (which is a Thai expression for the cheapest room) to Grand Deluxe and that was fine. the poolside snack service was ok until one of the waiters decided not to bring us our 15 baht change from the bill... so on pronciple we didnt use it after that.

We stayed for 8 nights and it was a really nice hotel very central to everything within walking distance, 5mins walk to the beach, Rooms were very clean and spacious. The pool was huge and nice to swim in which has the swim up bar. Al the staff were nice and very helpful and got what we asked for. Dont book anything less than a deluxe room the superior are facing the street and is very noisy. Great restaurants to go to Oasis which is next door to Baumanburi and Shakers which was our best place to go to had really nice food went their 4 times.

pool area was great , set up for all ages.bar staff at pool really made you know you were on holidays nothing too much trouble had fun with guests. all other staff were very courteous and tried to help out with any problems. food in restaurant was very good, but waiters and waitresses had trouble understanding english and orders i would stay at this hotel without hesitation . it is good value and not that far away from the main part of town. i know my friends , wife and myself enjoyed the facilities very much and will return ceiling in our bathroom was covered in mould and shower screen broken .other than that rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. friends room had no problems at all. sometimes air conditioning was too hot at night . whilst breakfasts were tasty the food was often cold and not varied . cleaners twice left balcony door unlocked which was security risk for our room being next to open landing.

Friendly staff, luxury hotel with a good family environment, great food, brilliant location (only a 10min walk to patong beach) and great value for money, the hotel is very clean with good a sized swimming pool and a pretty decent gym. Rooms are spacious with LCD televisions and nice spacious bathrooms. The Room service menu has a huge variety of tasty thai and western food, the service is quick and efficient, overall a great hotel, would definitely stay again.

The hotel was great - with facilities - pool, bar and breakfast all good. The quality of the standard rooms was very average with the showers a real disgrace.

It was good value for money. We had 2 children 7 & 8 and the staff loved them and were very friendly towards them. It was right next door to the shops and 5 minutes from the night life. Everything was at your fingertips. It was safe for you to go out by yourself and the children walked around the Hotel my themselves. The pool was fantastic and our group of 9 were all happy.

The rooms were good. The swimming pool was good although the were a few sharp tiles which my grandson cut himself .a little disappointed with bookings.com as we booked adjoining rooms for our grandkids and their parents and these were not done. The manager was rude on one occasion as we came back from a long walk with a coke and he suggested that we should have bought it from the hotel so he suggested we stand in the car park and finish it.the breakfast was very ordinary as the food warmerswere cold.we would have eaten at the hotel had the dining room was air conditioned .hotel corridors were dirty .

The hotel staff were always friendly n willing to help us. I loved the poolside drop in from my room. Fantastic variety of breakfast for all nationalities. I feel the table n chairs in the breakfast area could be updated as they were plastic n weak.. The toilet seat in room 3105 needs replacing as it was badly stained. While i was sunbaking on the beds the men were working on a stage putting bamboo around it with a nail gun which was not in the safety of all the guests only 5 feet away..This was seriously dangerous. Also the padding on the sunbeds had mould on them.

Everything was great and like all Hotels/Resorts they have their up sides and down sides and this Hotel was no different but all in all it was mostly up sides, i have to say the thing i liked best about the Hotel was the pool and pool bar and also the staff. All in all i would recommend this Hotel to anyone going to Phuket and would like to stay in comfort and great service. In honesty, i can't really think of anything worth mentioning for this part.

As the hotel was very great to stay in only the things is the location is very noisy. I have booked for six nights and I have taken the breakfast for five nights, they have called me and they told me I not suppose to take breakfast for the last day. The rest are good and perfect.

It provided the perfect place to relax and let the kids enjoy themselves away from the bustle of the streets. It was close to the main shopping, eating and partying district of Patong and had fantastic staff. The breakfast buffet was a good start to the day. A mosquito screen on the balcony door would have been godd for the odd occasion tha the outside temperature was pleasant enough and for when didn't want the air-con. Otherwise we had a great experience at Baumanburi.

It is close to the Patong Beach, a popular attraction in Phuket. You can manage to enjoy the nightlife of Patong within close distance, maybe walking, way from the hotel. The room I stayed in did not live up to how the reception and the rest of the venues look. It looks older and darker, but that shopuld not be a big deal if you are not planing to stay long in the room.Alo, I wish if the front desk staff are a bit more cheering, just one single free smile will do.

It was good to be able to go for a swim off the back verandah, I had a poolside room the room had lots of mosquitos which were coming out of the floor drains in the bathroom which was very disconserting. I had to put towels over the floor drains and run hot water through the shower and bath but that didn't work either. Had to ask them to spray the room each day. The girls were aware that the mosquitos were a problem at the hotel from the way they acted.
