Beach Terrace  

Very nice location right on the beach.. Great terrace straight out from the bedroom.. Very friendly and hospitable staff.. Close to local restaurants and 7- 11 just up the road

Bathrooms unfortunately not to my wife or daughters liking... Maybe a little bit of refurbishment in this area would make a big difference to the overall impression

We had a great time staying here. A very nice place if you need to relax and to be out of a crowded place, overlooking the sea. I really appreciate how Tom (owner) takes care of the customers -warm and accommodating. A very reasonable price on a superb place and their rooms are spacious. Food seved are good. I would love to come here again in the future.

Fantastic little hotel in a brilliant location over-looking the beach and views along the coast. Very good price for the location and the facilities. Staff were welcoming and friendly; Tom kindly assisted me with local information and organising transport to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would certainly visit again!

My Husband Stephan and I loved the Beach outlook and the Sunrise in the morning Staff and Manager where there for all our requirements our mother loved sitting on the deck and enjoyed every moment of the stay we will return

The only thing we can say here was the stay not long enough

Owner was very friendly and helpful, quiet location, small number of rooms and mostly older couples/families so it was quiet and good for a relaxing weekend.

Sea view from room offroad parking .breakfast on terrace is an asset to this hotel.staff helpfully when one is understood

Distance from hotel to the nicely lit up and lively village a small distance to walk to

I was on a motorcycle tour and selected this gh because it had private parking for my bike. This was just for a bed for an overnight stopover.

I was utterly disgusted to find well aged pee (maybe 1 or 2 days!!) festering in the wc when I wanted to use it. Imagine the stench that hits you when you open the wc cover ... yuukkkk!

I paid 1600bath for the room that is not good enough

The room we stayed in had a beautiful sea veiw and was large and comfortable. The restaurant food was excellent and the setting was nice, looking out on the sea. It was quiet and in good proxcimity to the local restaurants, sites and the beach. The owner Tom was quite friendly and comical and even showed up with a small cake for my girlfriends birthday and arranged a cab to get from the airport to the hotel for us. The Thai massage offered there was really nice. I would highly recommend Beach Terrace to anyone if asked.

The receptionist needs to be more well versed in English and needs to smile more and be more friendly.

Tom was very helpful with local information and helped us with booking travel and tours, bikes etc. The 2 bedroom apartment is great value and a fantastic layout for a family or small group of friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Sea views from restaurant and for a drink at night were beautiful.

Great views from our room, with some very nice staff and great food Tom the owner is a really nice guy and very helpful, I would recommend this hotel to my friends ! Free wifi throughout the hotel.

Unfortunately the beach is eroding so nothing there until the tide is out.

Excellent peaceful location, wonderful service and great food. The rooms are large and well equipped. The terraces and sea view is wonderful. The staff are well trained friendly. The owner is always there and happy to help people plan day trips to various local attractions. This is a great serene place, not close to the bar-beer scene.

It is a bit hard to find, so just keep the phone number handy for the driver to call.

Nice people and good location,

Tom, der Hotelier, hat sich sehr gut um alles gekümmert - war sehr entgegenkommend, als sich die Ankunft um Stunden verzögert hatte und wir erst nachts um 2 Uhr eingetroffen sind. Besonders angenehm: Tom spricht deutsch. Das Zimmer war geräumig - Eckzimmer mit tollem Meerblick nach zwei Seiten. Die Klimaanlage hat bestens funktioniert; die Sauberkeit (Handtuch- und Bettwäschewechsel ebenso) war perfekt; das Personal überzeugte durch Freundlichkeit. Wer Ruhe bei gutem Service sucht, ist in diesem Hotel gut aufgehoben; der "Ort" selbst bietet allerdings nur eine Ladenstrasse mit kleinen Läden, etlichen Restaurants und ein paar Massagestudios. Wer mehr erleben will, muss mit dem Taxi nach Hua Hin fahren - ist aber kein "Beinbruch".

Nachmittags mal auf der vorhandenen "Beach Terrace" im Schatten im Liegestuhl entspannen geht leider nicht so dolle; Hier sollte und könnte Tom noch "nachbessern" - mehr Liegen und ein paar Sonnenschirme würden Wunder wirken. Aber auch mit dieser Einschränkung bleibt das Hotel empfehlenswert.

Tom (der dänische Besitzer) ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und war hilfreich mit lokalen Tips, sowie bei der Buchung eines praktischen Taxi-Transfers zum Flughafen nach Bangkok. Der Massage-Service vor Ort ist praktisch und gut; die Terrasse lädt mit guten Essen und Getränken zum Verweilen ein. Übrigens (für Frühaufsteher): Die Sonnenaufgänge in Cha Am sind sehenswert und direkt vom Zimmer aus zu beobachten! Beach Terrace ist ein Platz, um sich von Bangkoks hektischem Treiben gut zu erholen. Empfehlenswert!

War alles gut

Schönes Appartement Ideal für eine Familie.Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr nette dänische Leitung (deutsch und englischsprachig) des Hotels und das allerbeste eine Sonnenterasse mit direktem Zugang zum Meer.

Die Wegbeschilderung ist leicht zu übersehen, mit GPS oder zweimal Fragen ist es dann auch kein Problem.

L' humeur du patron, pas très sympa , les changements de prix..... Premier jour le café 25 bth le lendemain 30 bth , c est un peu à la tête du client , idem pour les plats , bref je ne ferais pas de pub pour cet hôtel .... j aurais du écouter les avis de certaines personne qui n en disent pas du bien .... donc je confirme..... J ai eu mieux comme hôtel en thaïlande et à des prix inférieur à celui de beach terrace , cher payé pour être en bord de mer et ne pas pouvoir se baigner , je devais aller plus loin pour profiter de la plage , par contre j avais une belle vue sur la mer point positif , je pense que cet hôtel aurait du potentiel ...dommage

Le fait de surplomber la mer de la terrasse. La proximité de la plage, des commerces et restaurants, et la possibilité de s’y rendre à pied en quelques minutes. Excellent restaurant à l’hôtel, Gentillesse et serviabilité du gérant Tom.

Il y a toujours des critiques à formuler, mais au regard du prix de la chambre, il serait indécent de le faire
