Wawa and his sister are very nice people and give their best to make you feel at home. I got an upgrade to a seaview room which I adored, till the water rose too high at high tide. I wanted to change rooms and they were very understanding and I immediately got another one further from the water. The beach with the little island you can walk to at low tide is the nicest I saw this time in Thailand. It must be great at high season.

The water rose higher than it had in 10 years, they said. At high tide it came as close as up to 4 metres to the house. There was a wall about 2 metres high with steps leading down to the beach, only there was no beach anymore the water was 2 metres deep, the waves coming over the wall. I found that too scary to stay in the seaview bungalow. That means no breakfast on the beach at low season but instead in a small dark alley between this hotel and the one next to it, which was a construction site at the time I was there. No beach at high tide. And at low tide you had to be careful when walking along the beach, there were so many broken bottles at this particular stretch which the tide brought in, which of course is not the hotel's fault. Again, I think all these are low season problems and I still do recommend this hotel!

    1) Away from the touristic, crowded street of Ao Nang if you look for tranquility. 2) On the beach, not private but very less crowded. 3) Big room and quality sleep with nice sea view balcony (for sea view rooms). 4) Breakfast on beach front. 5) Wifi available. Verdict: I have elaborated on bad part just to make sure my review is helpful for others. I would definitely recommend this hotel (opt for sea view room) if you want to relax out of crowded area of Ao Nang but still closer ( ~ 11 KM). The hotel provides motor bike on rent (250 THB for 24 hrs.) so transportation wouldn't be a big problem.

    1) Away from Ao Nang, so if you are not renting motor bike you need to rent a car to go for shopping, eating etc. as there is nothing much nearby to the hotel and there is no restaurant at this hotel. 2) The price for Island hopping, Phi Phi island trip is much cheaper (300-400 THB) in Ao Nang than the travel agent's (hotel) price next door. I checked earlier the price from Ao Nang, so I asked the hotel for cheaper price and they agreed. So, you need to bargain, e.g. 4 island trip hotel price 1200 THB with transportation, I got for 900 THB after bargain and if you take it directly from Ao Nang 700-750 THB. 3) No body at reception, it's difficult to ask for help as there is no phone in room.

Everything! The rooms, the surroundings, the ambiance...if you are looking to truly relax and unwind, this is the place for you. The seaview rooms are worth the extra money!

The location is pretty far from everything else, ergo transport options are limited. Lack of option of good restaurants and bars nearby too.

The rooms were good, clean and good value for money.

The beach in front of the resort was not up t standard to the rest of Thailand: not clean. Then that damn birds, the neigbours have that start chirping non-stop from 5h30 in the morning, so if you have aroom in the passage don't plan to sleep late... Taking a long tail to Hong Island from this beach 2500baht per person and that is a fixed price. Taking a long tail from Ao nang 800B pp but taxi fair to Ao nang 900B ?? In my opinion - you will end up in Ao Nang because that is where vereything is happening and the "savings" for this resort is not really savings.

Very nice, brand new and super clean room. Kind and helpful staff, even if not speaking English that well. Quiet place. Right on the beach. Breakfast on the beach: great!

The beach is not that clean: lot of garbage under the trees, on both sides, but it's not the hotel's responsibility or property.

-It was an amazing small place. It is not a resort, more like a family run guesthouse but the rooms are very nicely designed, very good size and very clean. The bathroom was like a 5-star hotel bathroom. The beach is very clean and nice, and you are only 3 meters away from it. If you go for the deluxe sea view rooms, you can actually hear the waves from your bed at nights. It is not a touristy area so still private and peaceful. On the beach, there are few bars (I loved the Sunset Bar- I think my fav place in Thailand) and you can have romantic walks at night on the beach. The hotel provides you towels, and a beach bag which are very handy. You have a fridge in the room and air con works perfect (quiet and different settings). They clean the room everyday. There is an aroma candle in the bathroom. These small details make it special. -The staff who is taking care of breakfast and cleaning are very nice. I am not sure if it was their place but one night I saw them reading the reviews on booking.com and discussing about it. It was very nice, shows they really care- and they do. Want to say a massive thank you to them. -Although expensive, they have got all sort of arrangements such as motorbike renting, boat tours and airport transfers (Explained it a little bit more in the second part) -Best place for a romantic quiet run away. Defo go for the deluxe sea view rooms!!

-The breakfast can be improved. We stayed in Bliss for 3 days so it wasn't too bad but it is literally bread, jam, coffee with coffee mate or tea and omlette. It would be nice to have filter coffee, milk, cereal, pancakes and this wouldn't probably cost them much. Again it would have been nice if we had freshly squeezed juices. -The guesthouse is not doing any lunch or dinner- which is not a problem as there are restaurants and bars around but it would be very helpful if they sell the basics like water, juices and ice cream. -The hotel shouldn't accept guests with kids below certain age or babies. It is a tiny guesthouse for people looking for peace and quiet. You live like a big family so if you have one noisy guest, that changes the atmosphere massively. We were very lucky as everyone was around our age during our stay and everyone was very considerate, reading their books etc on the beach but on the day we were leaving, a family with 2 kids came and it was very noisy and we were glad that we weren't staying any longer. -I think the taxi and boat arrangements by the hotel was rip off. It is very expensive in Krabi anyway with all transport prices being fixed, no one uses meters in taxi or negotiates on the price which is really bad. It really put us off as we thought in other places in Thailand, everyone was very nice and no one was trying to rip us off. We needed a taxi from Bliss to the airport and we were told it is 700 baht everywhere we asked. We were hoping the hotel staff could give us a discount but the guy (Wawa) said it would be 800 baht. If we didn't know the actual price, we would have probably gone for it. I thought that was not nice. Again the boat takes you to the offshore island and it is around 2000baht. You might think it is a good deal but actually when we took the boat in Ao Nang it was 100 baht per person one way and they needed 10 people on the boat so it is exactly the same price of hiring the boat privately.

Friendly family run place, right on the very quiet beach. Breakfast with sand between toes. Helpful staff. Rooms modern and clean. A few little places to choose to eat in, and a couple of minimarts but no big shops. Bring a book, float in the lovely see and relax!

Nothing really not to like, just be aware that on the next beach but just in view is an industrial pier that large ships come into. There is no noise or dirt or anything, it just makes part of the view a little bit less than perfect. Facing out to sea or to the island to the left is a gorgeous view. The sea is difficult to swim in at low tide as it can be very shallow and rocky but lovely at other times.

Very relaxing. Extremely spacious and good-looking room. Nice beach bars around. Breakfast on the beach.

Very far from main tourist areas. Tried to check out early, had problems with the hotel changing check out policy. Booking.com also got involved, took some time for all parties concerned to agree with me. We decided to stay on just to avoid the extra charges. Staff struggles with English. The breakfast is very repetitive.

Location on the beach-front was quiet and peaceful and the hotel was easy to get to from the airport. Breakfast was served on the beach. The new rooms overlooking the beach were beautiful. There were several bars and restaurants on the beach or along the road within easy walking distance.

Beds were a little too firm. There weren’t enough sun loungers on the beach for all the guests. There were no English-language channels on the TV.

Small, personal unique. Staff very helpful and polite always wiling to help you. Lovely small beach that is so quiet! Great breakfast and good size room. Air con, fridge and commy bed. Perfect.

Had a few ants in the bathroom but being so close to the beach (ground floor) things like that's are expected. Lack of facilities, pool, no resturant or gym. Location is quiet and not a lot to do if you have no car/ bike. But that's not a negative as that's why it's so unique and quiet. Nothing else!
