The Bodhi Serene is an oasis of calm in a busy city. The rooms are large and all overlook a peaceful courtyard with trees and a pool. It was lovely to come back from a day sightseeing to relax in the rooftop swimming pool. The rooms were clean and the air con efficient. All staff were helpful and friendly. There was plenty of choice for breakfast which was served in the inner courtyard. It was also in a central position ideal for visiting Wats or the Sunday walking market.

The large bath looked lovely but took so long to fill it wasn't worth using. However, the shower was also large and very efficient so it really didn't matter.

Very comfortable hotel, good accommodations, huge bathroom, great breakfast, very nice pool, good cocktails! Service friendly and helpful.

Beds are on the firm side, but the pillows really need to be renewed.

It was near Sunday walking street, which meant we didn't have to go through the traffic jam to get there, just a 3 minute walk

The hotel shd invest in some good pillows. I had neck ache after sleeping on the pillows which basically sunk when you lie on it.

The staff are friendly and I love the swimming pool.

The room is a bit smelly. The dressing gown has stains and holes on it. They charged me for breaking a drinking glass. A bit over priced for what it provides.

The staff were very attentive and after a couple of days were eager to know what we were up to and how they could help. The pool was very clean and refreshing after a long hot day.

Mould on the bathroom tiles. Marks all over walls. Floor scratched. Only one chair in room. Nowhere to put your case. Lounges around pool need maintainance. Towels shabby.

Rooms were beautiful and the grounds were unique. The pool was in open area on 2nd floor. cool.

Bit noisy due to being in the city...dogs barking...that's the city for you.

The Staff were friendly, the breakfast was very good. The location in the old city is good.

The room we had were a bit musty, bathroom needed a good clean, stains on the walls and big mould mark on the ceiling. The bed was super hard, so much so that we only stayed one night. It may have been a nice hotel in it's time but it needs some work. The mosquito's also did not help one feel relaxed.

Over-all, it was a great place. The service was excellent, very alert yet not obtrusive. My only complaint with the booking is that I was charged more than what I was quoted by booking.com. They told me that booking changes per day. I remember being charged 3,900 for one night then 4,000 and 4,100 for other nights. This is exclusive of the 1,000 bhat agreed on for extra bed. Since I was in a hurry to catch my flight, I had no time to verify with booking.com. I hope that this may be verified and corrected

I really enjoyed my stay here. Great location, rooms were very very clean and mine was big and very comfortable. The bath/shower were very spacious. The bed was super comfortable amd breakfast was delicious. Staff were so friendly and very helpful. I would definately stay here again when I return to Chiang Mai. thanks Bodhi Serene!

Very nice location, walking distance to shopping places, temples, and many restaurants available nearby. Pleasant environment, and nice design with tropical plant inside.
