No restaurants very close to the hotel. Besides the hotel is 7 Eleven only, where I bought my food for dinner.

Boonsiri place was as we expected to be, easy to find and very convenient on walking distance to Must-see places around town. Very quite neighborhood and also very local. The most attractive parts of Bangkok are all in a walking distance. I definitely will recommend this place very anybody that thinks to spends more than a day or two in Bangkok.

The place looked older than it seems in the pictures and the rooms' doors didn't look so safe, even though most of the hotels in Bangkok use the same kind of lock, perhaps they feel very safe and there's no need.

The location of the hotel was good for sight seeing only since the shopping district is far from the hotel, however its good to visit the temples and palaces plus its 7mins walk to kaosan road which is the main location for outsiders. You'll find bars, resturants, shops, breading places, henna artists and load of food (night life). The hotel is 15mins walk to Wat Phra Kaew, or Temple of the Emerald Buddha plus on your way to the wat you will also find Wat Suthat. I would suggest to book a one day trip around bangkok for sight seeing from the hotel since its easier and cheaper.

The hotel location is not good for girls who would want to walk around at night since the road which takes you to the hotel is a pick up spot for many men. The location is far for the people who are shopaholics.

Good, clean hotel with a freindly atmosphere. Staff were more than happy for us to check in at 5am after an overnight bus from Krabi dropped us off earlier than planned. We were able to leave our bags securely for the day while we went off sight seeing. Room was quiet, wifi signal very good. We stayed in a Delux Double on the 5th floor. Breakfast was good, fruit selection, eggs, sausages unlimited toast and tea! Close to the hustle and bustle but out of ear shot.

No fridge in room, surrounding area of hotel slightly run down, but we felt safe enough walking back late at night. Some taxis seemed to struggle to identify the hotel, but they were mostly from the Kho San road area and generally strugled with English and basic map reading skills...Other taxis were great at finding it.

It's really closed to the airport. The hotel arrange a car every hour to send the clients to airport for free. The price is low and the room is good, quite big and clean. It's a very good choice for the tourists who need to catch up with the plane early in the morning.

We left a messege to the hotel to require a car to pick up us from airport to hotel when arriving at Bangkok. But we couldn't find the car and had to go there by taxi.

Location is perfect, around 15 min easy walk to Grand Palace. One 7-11 store right at ground floor corner. Great value for money. In evening, nearby around 1 min walk along the river is night market, huge and lively, great for stroll. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

The location is obscure. We had difficulty with taxi-drivers. Almost all of them had trouble finding it. Have to print google map before hand. Also, the neighborhood is a bit traffic-congested, we were refused by several taxi-drivers. We think they just pretend not to know where the hotel is since they don't want to try the traffic jam. Not a problem of the hotel really, but can be a problem if you wish to taxi back during rush hour or from a nearby location.

The location is bang on near to khao san, near grand palace and there is a good night market across thanon bunsiri. recommended place for budget travellers and very clean.

One minor pull down for me was the breakfast ,, as there was only bread and some fruits for vegetarians. standard breakfast was eggs, sausage and some chicken dish. no vegetarian

The price and being immersed with the locals, however, it was only selected because the nicer hotels were booked.

The taxi service the hotel uses. I live here so I knew the tourist trickery involved. All taxis in Bangkok are required to use a meter, and the hotel's taxi didn't use one.

The price and location was great. Close to Khao San road.

The numerous prostitutes and shady dealings going on outside the hotel. Police need to clean up this area. We stayed here four years ago and it wasn't nearly this bad. Unfortunately we won't be staying here when we visit again because of this problem.

Services, hotel staff and location (just 10 min to King Palace)

Five minutes from the Grand Palace, very nice place, in a cosy street, with a cool market next to it. First night the bedclothes were a bit dirty, but they changed it inmediately.

We love the rooms very comfy, food are good, staff of the restaurant are nice, and staff who clean the room too are very nice, the position are very near to the most important temples of bkk. Thank you.

One thing we didn't like was a guy in the reception, he never smile or greet, he don't even look into your eyes, he seems really annoyed of our presence, front desk should be the most important part of the Hotel and We think that a Smile or a greet is not hard to do in a country where the definition is a country of smile!

Just in the middle of the old city. Not so far from main attractions: grand palace, wat pho, piers or khao san road. Nice and helpful staff, decent room and breakfast.
