Great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms
Breakfast was a bit basic
high prices for everything (laundry, breakfast etc etc), so sleep ok than go outside!
Water in bathroom. Staff not react asked 2 times . Not comfortable with water on the floor all time.
The reception team !!! And localization and confort.
It has available a transfer to the night market, small swimming pool and good wifi
The bed in the standard room is horrible. You can feel the mattress springs digging into your back. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone for this reason. I had a pain in my back after only the first night. Look for any other hotel.
Is was so convenient to anywhere in old city. Just rent a bicycle and you can go anywhere. The room is clean and big. Value for the money. Will come to stay again.
Is a bit old. Need some renovation.
good staff and perfect location in the center of the old city.
good breakfast but not the best
The hotel is well known by the taxi driver, no far away from main temples, room is clean, we also take hotel free shuttle bus to the night bazaar, it's really convenience for us.
relatively old hotel
It's in the old city and close to all points of interest. Hire a bicycle to get around and you are set. Also it's in a quiet location with no hassles. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
Nothing bad to report.
I accidentally broke a drinking glass and they made me pay for it! Our room had dust on the floor and mosquitos every day even when we didn't open the windows. The water at the swimming had a strange colour.
The lobby is quite splendid. Room is big and clean. The rate is reasonable and location convenient to go to other places inside Chiangmai old city.
Too many mosquitos. The building is old and need renovation.
No free breakfast, some morning noise (not too bad)
Location was good.
Dirty towel in the room when we arrived, staff where not friendly and we felt like we were an inconvenience.
The boutique room was lovely. Really spacious room, huge bed and great bathroom and shower.
the position is good, easy to find.and of course the price is really acceptable.the staff of the hotel are helpful, and good in English.
the faciities in the room are old,so are not so comfortable.
I've stayed at the BP a couple times. I travel to Chiang Mai 4-5 times a year and I've stayed at Many Hotels in Chiang Mai, but the BP is my favorite. Especially because the rooms are so large, comfortable and Romantic. I will stay again and again. Great Value you and a good location.
I didn't think the staff really went out of their way to be friendly and courteous. The last time I was there the Shift manager greeted all the guests and the staff reflected a better attitude toward coustomers. I just think that a Hotel as great as BP should have a management and staff that give the Hotel that little extra that doesn't cost anything but gives great value to the Hotel.
The reception area when you walked in the Hotel, looked ok.
As you leave the reception going to the elevator going to your room, you start having a bad smell, elevator old scratched, carpets has huge dirty stains, bedroom horrible. Shower curtain was horrible and dirty. Only gd thing was I had hot water to shower. Food was really horrible in the restaurant, we never ate there once.Honestly, will never stay at BP again
Warm & friendly staff Especially the guy who hangs by the motorcycles. Big rooms, nice pool, reception With hard wood floors, Awesome location .
beds are more like rocks than mattresses. Breakfast was full of suprisses.
Great location, geographical center of old city. Large comfortable room with a great bed. Lots of smiles.
Very little: It just appeared that the management was not up to the job. Things like the hot water container would run empty and remain off for 2 days until it was again filled. The waqlls were thin and noise from the next room was annoying.
This hotel is actually surrounded with enough services to make it a good pick for a few nights. They have a very nice pool, which appeared to be kept clean. This was probably one of the nicer hotels in its day, but it's older and seemed to have lost a little of its asthetic vibrancy. However, the employees, particularly the bellmen at the hotel, more than make up for any shortfalls. The hotel is within walking distance to the main Sunday market, and there are plenty of red cars that passby the hotel that can take you down to the main gate area. I would return
Bathrooms could use some need updating.
Friendly and helpful staff. The bedroom was comfortable and the lobby airy. Very convenient for the city centre.
The breakfasts were not good.
Rooms were big
Bathtub was thilthy, all the tiles ha mould in them Staff was quite rude an not very helpful Breakfast was not good
Good size of bedroom, fridge in the room, free of charge transfer to night market (every night at 7 pm),
Hotel not really clean, breakfast all the time the same food - eggs, pancakes served cold, not good quality of coffee, dirty table clothes - we have stayed there for 5 nights and table clothes haven't been changed at all!!!! We have booked superior room - very disappointing! Bathroom very dirty, we have seen 3 different bedrooms - bathrooms looked the same - very tired and not cleaned properly. Problems with wifi in the bedroom - it was working only in the lobby. No hairdryer or iron available.
Location was good, hotel was decent for the money.
Breakfast was very lacking and nowhere close to western standards.
