nearby popular Wat's close to bars, restaurants and nightmarkets breakfast was ok pool was clean and nice scooter rental in hotel (300 Baht)
AirCon leaked underneath the bathtube so whole bathroom was 24/7 wet nearly flooded noisy in the floors because of other guests and loud door closings you could feel the bed springs stitching in your back rooms have been equiped with old stuff
Exellent staff,in australia $150+ .pool clean, great for small kids or over 40,s relaxing thai experience.
1. The Price. This is a budget hotel, but it is very comfortable. 2. The Bed ! Excellent for sleeping. 3. The large Room. 4. The Fridge 5. The Price again
The hotel is a bit tired, but still very good value for money. The illumination level in the room is low.
hard bed, impersonal, cheerless, sad
It is quite central. If you rent a bike you can go pretty much anywhere in 5-10 minutes! The personnel was very nice.
While the lobby and restaurant are very nicely decorated, my room was honestly less than average. Stains on the wall, no decoration, no charm. While I specifcally asked a quiet area, I was put right where people have to go rom the elevator (and I know the hotel wasn't that full..).
Excellent location in the middle of the old city. Good wifi No hassle Great bed
Room was big and clean enough, aircon was good. Good location.
Place is seriously run down, almost like its been let go because it's nearing demolition. Pool is shabby and the gym is a joke. Staff are uninterested at best. Door man even tried to steer us to his dodgy Tuk Tuk drivers and shoddy tour mates.
Great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms
Breakfast was a bit basic
high prices for everything (laundry, breakfast etc etc), so sleep ok than go outside!
Water in bathroom. Staff not react asked 2 times . Not comfortable with water on the floor all time.
The reception team !!! And localization and confort.
It has available a transfer to the night market, small swimming pool and good wifi
The bed in the standard room is horrible. You can feel the mattress springs digging into your back. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone for this reason. I had a pain in my back after only the first night. Look for any other hotel.
Is was so convenient to anywhere in old city. Just rent a bicycle and you can go anywhere. The room is clean and big. Value for the money. Will come to stay again.
Is a bit old. Need some renovation.
good staff and perfect location in the center of the old city.
good breakfast but not the best
The hotel is well known by the taxi driver, no far away from main temples, room is clean, we also take hotel free shuttle bus to the night bazaar, it's really convenience for us.
relatively old hotel
It's in the old city and close to all points of interest. Hire a bicycle to get around and you are set. Also it's in a quiet location with no hassles. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
Nothing bad to report.
I accidentally broke a drinking glass and they made me pay for it! Our room had dust on the floor and mosquitos every day even when we didn't open the windows. The water at the swimming had a strange colour.
The lobby is quite splendid. Room is big and clean. The rate is reasonable and location convenient to go to other places inside Chiangmai old city.
Too many mosquitos. The building is old and need renovation.
No free breakfast, some morning noise (not too bad)
Location was good.
Dirty towel in the room when we arrived, staff where not friendly and we felt like we were an inconvenience.
The boutique room was lovely. Really spacious room, huge bed and great bathroom and shower.
the position is good, easy to find.and of course the price is really acceptable.the staff of the hotel are helpful, and good in English.
the faciities in the room are old,so are not so comfortable.
I've stayed at the BP a couple times. I travel to Chiang Mai 4-5 times a year and I've stayed at Many Hotels in Chiang Mai, but the BP is my favorite. Especially because the rooms are so large, comfortable and Romantic. I will stay again and again. Great Value you and a good location.
I didn't think the staff really went out of their way to be friendly and courteous. The last time I was there the Shift manager greeted all the guests and the staff reflected a better attitude toward coustomers. I just think that a Hotel as great as BP should have a management and staff that give the Hotel that little extra that doesn't cost anything but gives great value to the Hotel.
The reception area when you walked in the Hotel, looked ok.
As you leave the reception going to the elevator going to your room, you start having a bad smell, elevator old scratched, carpets has huge dirty stains, bedroom horrible. Shower curtain was horrible and dirty. Only gd thing was I had hot water to shower. Food was really horrible in the restaurant, we never ate there once.Honestly, will never stay at BP again
Warm & friendly staff Especially the guy who hangs by the motorcycles. Big rooms, nice pool, reception With hard wood floors, Awesome location .
beds are more like rocks than mattresses. Breakfast was full of suprisses.
