The pool access room is great. Overall condition of the hotel is good, relatively new. Lots of mosquitos!!! They are everywhere and the hotel dont seem to be doing anything. The waiting area in the Lobby, the restaurant and the daybed area outside my room. Kind of unbearable! The Toilet in my room has a design flaw. During shower, water will flow by the side of the bath tub and onto the floor of the bathroom. A shower session will cause the entire bath room to be flooded. Worse, the water dont seem to drain, lots of ponding in the toilet. We are on honeymoon and had reflected in our booking. Kind of disappointing to realise the hotel made no effort in offering us special arrangements.

I like the location and the restaurant buffet in the hotel I didn't like the room category > it was in the old building. As I see the hotel is divided into 2 buildings one old , smiley and the luxurious rooms in the new one >

Very friendly staff. Naughty Radish and Juice Bar are both great, fresh, healthy places to eat. Restaurant staff are kind and helpful. Pool is nice, although all the plants around the perimeter brought some strange bugs floating around (but the plants brought a nice ambiance). Also, the bottom of the pool had some grime on it. Water seemed clean, though other than that. We had just arrived in our room and found a big rat on the balcony. The staff responded quickly and tried to catch the rat. However, the rat ran back and forth across the balconies. The staff left us and we thought the rat had left, but then realized it came back. The woman that helped us move rooms was very kind and apologetic and finally found us a different room to move into. But, I was very surprised that NOTHING was done as a courtesy for us because of the trouble that we were put through. We literally spent 2 - 3 hours dealing with the rat and then trying to find another room, pack our things and move. Another problem was with the Spa. I was about 4.5 months pregnant when I went to the spa, and they refused to work on my back. I had previously stayed at 5 star hotels in Bangkok and 4 star hotels in Phuket, and they all had no problem working around my pregnancy. I understand that Thai massage is full body, but the other spas knew how to still give me an excellent massage and avoid potential problems with my pregnancy. We had originally planned to stay another 2 nights because we really liked the hotel (despite the rat), but because of the spa, we checked out and moved next door to the Marriott Courtyard where they had no problem giving massages to a pregnant woman. Upon checkout, I received a printed invoice with charges that were incurred at the restaurants, but I never received any invoice for the actual room charges. I need this receipt and emailed their website on October 24th with no response. I called October 28 and was told that someone would respond to me that day. Then, I called again on October 31st with no answer and emailed again on Oct 31 with no response. The people at this hotel are so kind and friendly, but once you leave the hotel, it seems that they don't care at all about thecustomers. This is terrible customer service. I will never return and will tell all that I know about my experiences

We have stayed in the cheapest room and the price was 2700 per night. This is quite expensive for common travellers. Anyway the comfort was very good in this hotel. In our room though the bath was done in not very profesional way. It didnt look nice at all-for the price and for the level this hotel thinks they have.

Hotel was ok!!! Some staff were not willing to help with enquires. The breakfast waiters when we first arrive were unhappy and unfriendly. Breakfast was ok, tea/coffee refills were none existent. I think we were very spoilt by the large chain hotel we stayed at in Chiang Mai and did expect a little more from this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again. This is just my personal option though, I am sure others love it. The pool access room was good.

Our stay at Burasari was a welcome relief after needing to move out of a nearby hotel after the first night. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant even though we arrived at a time of chaos with guests checking in and out. The stand out staff member was Tum! This guy runs on Red Bull I swear! He seemed to spread sunshine all over the hotel with his unique manner of dealing with guests. Burasari is an oasis amidst busy Patong, yes there are plenty of mozzies but that's the climate, can't have the greenery and water features running through the hotel without it so bring your spray, hey who doesn't when visiting all warm countries! Altogether a 5 star experience for us! Comfort, quality, security it's all here. We stayed in the Elite Thai room, from what I could work out the upper floors are probably better than ground and there are lifts. Breakfast was included in our rate and there was plenty. Did not eat dinner here but when returning to hotel at dinner time caught some of the entertainment, traditional Thai dance and music, very nice. Complimentry mini-bar was a bonus, few cans of soft drink, one beer and chips and Oreo's refilled each day. Easy access to beach and other direction to market stalls and bars, a good way along from Bangla road (walking street) which is a big bonus! Overall a hotel I would be happy to return to! No complaints at all.

The location to Patong Beach and all its attractions was excellent. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast and friendly staff in a clean environment. Only complaint was that the bed was hard.

This Hotel is for sure not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are dark and old. Happily I booked Thai style room which was quite big. On the second day of our stay we found out that next to our balcony is construction process with drilling and grinding - and nobody cares (hotel do not inform customers that such actions are in the process next to their rooms). So be careful booking this Hotel/Resort?

The resort had a very beautiful design, with more than one swimming pool. It is near the beach, shops and resturants. The first night they upgraded us to a honey moon suit which was a very nice room. Staff are very friendly and helpful and always smiling. The fridge was stacked with complementary soft drinks and snacks. The spa was great. The breakfast was so good. I really enjoyed my stay at Burasari and would definatly stay there again.

If you're into crowdy places, then this is it. The Burasari Resort seems like an oasis of tranquility amidst the chaos of Patong. Very kind and professional staff.

I liked the design of the hotel, the pool area was lovely. Unfortunately the Burasari was mosquito infested. Most hotels we have stayed in in Thailand always fumigate but this did not seem the case with the Burisari.
