Excellent. Facilities great, location great, staff great - extremely friendly and helpful. Need a moped ? Front desk will arrange. Need a tour booked ? Front desk will arrange. All on your bill so no cash needed. Quiet end of the beach, but close to everything you need - perfect. Not for backpackers, but perfect for young/mature couple and families. Highly recommended.

No pool. Bar closes a little early at 11pm.

As you entered it felt like an oasis of calm, with a relaxed and homely feel. The staff were wonderful, the setting directly onto the beach was fabulous. The restaurant was reasonably priced but stood up against higher priced places. I would definitely return and would recommend it highly.

The friendly staff who worked really hard to please people. They grabbed beach towels and directed which chairs were soon to get shade/sun and get you all set up. The cocktails were great and served with lots of ice and the dinners were fabulous. Again, can't say enough about the great staff.

Everything

We have travelled a lot and seen many hotels, but this was one of our best stays ever. The hotel stuff is amazing, it instantly felt like we were among friends. They always go out of their way to cater for what you need, and they are very attentive of all requests. The room was very, very clean, and it was clear that a lot of attention to details has been given. Facilities were good. The restaurant serves great food on a good value for money (given the island's prices when it comes to fine dining); we tried some fancy/advertised dining options (e.g. "The Page" nearby) but Buri Rasa restaurant beats them all hands down for dinners, at a lower price. Although not the best breakfast ever, we didn't really have any complaints, it was certainly above average. The spa facilities are reasonably good. Location is excellent, right on the beach. Overall: Great stay, and if we visit Samui again we'll look no further than Buri Rasa.

If I *must* find something, I'd say that transfer to/from the airport could be a complimentary service given the relatively expensive hotel rate (or, at least, make it same price with taxis from outside which are currently cheaper). It's just a very small fraction of what one pays to stay for a few days, but it's just a matter of style and aftertaste. Also, we had some trouble with water temperature in the shower, where it would randomly switch from hot to cold and back (but we didn't really report it to the hotel). Eventually it wasn't a problem for us.

This resort fulfills all, very good location in the middle of chaweng, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, nice, comfortable and clean rooms. Our room had a Thai shower which was very appreciated by our kids (4 and 1,5 years old). The beach is nice, the ocean is a little bit wild, so not appropriate for swimming at all times, but jumping in the waves as well very fun for the kids, and the pool can be used as complement to the beach.

The only negative about the resort (based on standard and price of resort) would be that I think it needs to keep the beach in front of the resort cleaner, remove leaves, garbage, etc.

This is a totally, chilled hotel with lovely personal touches. We had also stayed at anantara hotel on koh samui which is more expensive but this was nicer!!

I loved the location , its just in the middle of every thing , also it has its private beach the decoration is lovely and the breakfast was so yummy

I loved that the staff/recption didn't disturb us and were available to help when asked. Nice kind, friendly staff. Room was nice, not huge but well laid out and nice design. Cool pool and great access to beach. Food was good, evening meal by beach was great. We stayed at 4 hotels on this trip and all round this was our favourite, we will definitely be back.

The breakfast was slow, good concept of making it to order but very slow and orders usually misunderstood/wrong. Short of pool loungers. Steps at front of hotel difficult with a pram. Slighly deceiving on the price, no way the room was "75%" discounted. Minor issues though really, overall we had a great stay.

Small and comfort. Comfortable bed, which is not that common in Thailand, as it seems. Friendly staff , great location.
