The beach, that is about all it has to offer and hotel well priced, friendly people when you have money. way over priced for food, really were shocked at the prices for such a small portion, seven eleven was a god send, Thailand was a really good deal ten year ago, sorry but not now, bangkok, well get ripped off at the market, then leave.

Resort very close to the Airport and about a 15 minute walk from Nai Yang Beach. It only cost me about $20.00 Cnd and was very new, clean and the bed was comfortable. The Air- conditioning worked great and the bathroom was very clean and new. While it would not be the most convenient for long term stay if you wanted to go to the beach every day, it was a great price for an over night and then to Airport. The staff was great, very accommodating. Distance from Nai Yang Beach

This hotel is great if you have to be at the airport for an early flight. We stayed one night because we had to be at the airport at 6 am. We walked to the airport in 15 minutes, avoid taking a taxi if you dont mind walking as with all taxis in phuket they will definatly overcharge you. There is good food next door, shops about 5 min walk. The rooms are nice and clean, we stayed in a fan room with no aircon wich is fine for us but if your not good with the heat I would recommend to get an aircon room. The owners / staff were vert nice and helpfull. I Would only recomend staying here if you are in between flights as there is not alot here apart from the airport. If your not staying here to be close to the airport I wouldent recomend it as theres not to much around the area. Air con rooms cost extra, and no hot water in our room. But it was quite refreshing having a cold shower at 5 am before a flight.

I only stayed for one night because I needed somewhere convenient to the airport. The accommodation was in a quaint single bungalow that had a small garden out the front with a seat. It had a relaxed atmosphere. I arrived after hours but the manager was very obliging and helpful. Too close to the airport so the taxi drivers were reluctant to take you there so you probably pay too much for the fare.

Staff very friendly and accommodating, lent me their bicycle to ride to the beach, room very clean. I only had a fan in my room, would definitely recommend a room with aircon! A 20 minute walk from the beach, however only 10 minute walk from the airport and cheaper restaurants.

Actually Booking.com made a mistake and when we arrived at Canal Resort there weren't any rooms left even though we had reserved. The owner was so nice. He took us to his brother's nearby "bungalows" which actually turned out to be a house amidst a rubber tree plantation, and put us up there for the night for the same price as the standard room we had booked. He also had his son (also very nice) take us to the airport in the morning, free of charge. I didn't see much of Canal Resort, but I can highly recommend its owner! He drives a sweet old car too. Canal Resort was a bit far from food or shopping, which we were actually really close to after he moved us, but I think it would have been a bit of a bummer if we had stayed at Canal Resort.

Host was extremely friendly and waited for our arrival even though we only arrived in phuket at about 1030 local time. Resort is easily accessible via the taxi and costed 200 baht from the airport to reach there. Morning check out was a breeze and host also arranged for our transport to our next destination with a private car. Overall, safe and comfortable for the night stay :) As we were staying in the first room just in front of the pouch area, we were slightly disturbed by the arrivals throughout the night and early departure in the morning. However, you can easily request for a room further down from the pouch area. :)

Very clean, comfortable enough, nice quiet place (well isolated from neighbour street), nice mini garden, clean sidewalks. Very nice and helpful owners. Cheap transportation to/from airport Phuket (with help of the hosts). Very close to very small local restaurant - good food, in addition cheap. Nothing.

I did not like anything about the canal resort I arrived there after a 9 hour bus journey and all I wanted to was rest. When I arrived to the hotel there was no body at the reception. I waited for one hour and nobody showed at this stage I was left in the middle of nowhere tired and no way out of the place. Luckily enough I managed to pull a taxi on the road and the taxi man brought me 2 other hotel which I had 2 pay 1200 bath. I would recommend that no one should ever stay in this place

It is a 5 min ride to the airport and this is organised by the hotel for 100 bht. Great for 1 night if you are flying out the next day. Only thing would be that the hotel is not great for long term stays as its on a motorway and is a 2km walk to the beach on the busy roads.

The hotel is simple but new and clean. The rooms are big and the shower is good. It is perfect for who want to stay one night, and go to the airport (5 minutes by car). The staff is just two people and there isn't so much options to have lunch and dinner close to the hotel.
