The gym. When ordering room service, why did have to pay cash up-front - the reception had my c/card details? The night before my departure, I asked the reception staff to book me a taxi for 6:30 am and I was told I needed not to and just come to reception 20mn before checking out. But there was no taxi, they said that I had to use the hotel shuttle to get to the airport which was inconvenient to me. I didn't want to be crammed in the bus with other passengers. The hotel itself is not 4* as advertised and is more like a 2* hotel. You may forward this complaint to the hotel for me, thank you.

The location near the night bazaar and a surprisingly large gym are the only positives - unless you are a lover of faded 80's decor. 1. The hotel refused the executive lounge access included in the business+ package. Finally granted after two days of persistence and cornering a manager in the lobby. 2. Breakfast buffet ran out of food, ran out of plates, limited choices 3. Room was infested with mosquitoes 4. Bathroom poorly cleaned with worn and shabby fittings Other than a helpful doorman, totally impersonal service in a large old hotel well past its prime. Look for another option.

Hotel was located in the centre of the town, right near the night bazaar. Here you can get amazingly cheap food and the food is excellent. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Pool and gym facilities were great too... Hotel doesn't offer free wifi which we have had at other similarly priced hotels in Thailand and the food at the in house restaurants was astronomically expensive. Also, the live music was terrible.

The location I think they should improve their elevator system to keep people from waiting 10-15mins for a lift. Also the wall is a bit thin so you can hear children/people talking loud from next room. It's annoying when it's morning. And the interior could be improved to be comfortable... Right now it's really looking oldies... Nevertheless we had a good experience staying there.

The location of the hotel was amazing for the night market and getting around. The hotel, including the rooms seemed very dirty and not properly looked after. Stains all over the floors and carpets. I also was quite disappointed with the service provided as some of the staff seemed quite abrupt at times. The photos on the website make it look much cleaner then it really is.

Location. Near to the night market. Elevators are always full and slow. There are rooms for improvement in term of choices and quality of food for breakfast.

Nothing, except the location The walls between the rooms are so thin so that you can hear everything what happens around you (what your neighbours are talking about to each other, etc.). It doesn`t give you any comfort as you expect to get as the guest of the hotel. Pity enough I was not the only guest with this experience.

Location Room was dirty with ladies long hair everywhere - in the bed, bathroom etc. The room smelled as well and had to be freshened. It is obvious the cleaning was very poor to non exisatent though the bed was made as I said it had lots of long ladies hair between the sheet and the cover. The lifts are very slow and as such always ended up crowded. The lobby entrance was always full of guests milling around, blocking the doors. Out side the doors was the same.

Excellent buffet breakfast, night markets on doorstep, hotel staff helpful, gym & pool really good too. Easy access to nightspots. Definitely stay there again. If anything the lifts were a little slow so if the hotel is busy be prepared to wait.

Located opposite Le Meridien Hotel and next to the night markets so it is great for shopping, which is better in Chiang Mai than in Bangkok - cheaper, lots of choices, easier to get to the shops and markets as town is smaller and taxis and tuk-tuks are cheaper, drivers more friendly. Hotel has a great entrance, it is big and specious, big pool, large gym, great buffet restaurant serving dinner for around 300B which is inexpensive by Bangkok prices. We paid a bargain price for a double room with an excellent breakfast included - which had great variety of food. Very friendly staff from the moment we walked into this hotel, very clean. It's also in a walking distance to the old city temples. I had nothing to complain about and everything was great, however the rooms were a little outdated with its green carpet - but everything was very clean - but for $30 p/n for a double room with a great breakfast - I was very happy and will stay again as the service was great.

Proximity to Night Bazaar The room air-conditioner did not work during the 1st night of my stay there. We had a very uncomfortable & sweating night. . It indicates poor maintenance on the hotel management 's part. The hotel should provide 2 room keys instead of the current 1 key system as it does not allow me ease of return after an outing without waking up my wife just to open the door. The hotel should adopt international standards in this respect. Also, it does not provide daily newspapers tho it claims to be a 4 Star hotel !!!!

The hotel had such a great location. The night market started outside the door of the hotel. The Night Bazaars were nearby and a great place to eat and shop. There is an incredible variety of places to eat at your doorstep. The staff were fantastic, always ready to help out where they could. You could readily walk to the Old City. The public areas of the hotel were very spacious and modern but our room was "tired" and needed an update. The carpet, furniture and shower let the room down.
