No wifi, dated rooms, not clean
lounge on 23rd floor
no internet in room..Staff was clueless as what to do!
Okish breakfast Good location
We informed the hotel we arrive at 6am and in case they can offer check in a bit earlier would be appreciated. However, the staff was very strict with the check in time even if ppl were checking out big time, even groups:/ The hotel is far from what they show in pictures! Not a 4-star definitely! Old amenities. Could be cleaner.
Great location just minutes from night markets. Good buffet breakfast.
Needs a refurb. Shower not very powerful. No bum gun!
The hotel is lovely with great facilities, right where you want to be in the heart of Chiang Mai. Its a little dated but it's super clean so it makes up for it. It's sti very grand with huge areas, restaurants and chandeliers. We got a free upgrade to a business style room with a great view. Walking distance to the Night Bazaar and heaps of great places to eat.
Breakfast was great, but we found that if we went early (6-7am) there were heaps of people leaving on day tours. It was hard to get a seat and there were lines for all the food. We found if we left it a little later (8-9am) there was plenty of room, food and we got more personalised service from staff.
We really liked the market outside and the entertainment particularly the lady boy show !!
The credit card machine didn't work leading me to believe my card was not working but it was and the pool was freezing !!
service , facilities
Wii fii - any floor other wii fii connection. Have to sign in every time - not once.
Very good location of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, good english speaking. Spacious rooms. Rich breakfast and plenty of free places in the restaurant. Free wifi.
It is not a 4 stars hotel. The rooms are really dated, dingy and dirty carpets, towels are old. Housekeeping forgot to bring us the towels for two times. No WiFi in the room.
Excellent location in Chiang Mai near the night market. Excellent choice of breakfast Good facilities for parking
The rooms are very dated. Not feel that is a 4* deluxe standard No working table. Very small and uncomfortable bathroom cannot open at the same time the door for shower and for bathroom. Shower not mobile. Small bath tub. Adjacent room with door between rooms. Can hear the noise in the adjacent room during the night. I had to knock at the door at 2am because of the noise made by customers talking high within the room Despite the number of lifts, difficulties to have a lift at certain hours.
Breakfast & lunch buffet Hot tub Large rooms with bathtub Meeting rooms
Cold pool Poor internet service
Gym or firness is great. Swimming pool is more like for enjoying, not sports. Plenty of parking.
The interior is outdated. The common corridors quite old. Staff at the reception don't have service-mind and never smile. Not worth $$$.
the localization. It is very close of night bazar.
Nice location. Big rooms.
Pool was too cold. Hotel was a bit worn out.
Different price on leaving as to price booked on net ie on net 1600bht per night on checkout 2500bht per night
Nice hotel with good fecilities. Placed near the night Bazar. With access to most important places for tourists in the town. Near the hotel a variety places for dining and pubs.
The most food served at breakfast is not teasty to europeans.
breakfast wi-fi shampoo clean up a room(especially under the bed) not change the bed sheets
Excellent location and helpful staff. Breakfast was good value and the size of the restaurant meant that, despite having a party of eight, we never struggled for somewhere to sit down. Concierge made arrangements for transport at good rates.
The access to lifts were a constant problem. They were slow and relatively small for the size of the hotel.
Location Breakfast Size of room
Poor soundproofing between rooms, Wear and tear, old hotel. Check-out (long time - old fashion way)
Good free wifi. Ask in the reception for wifi-code.
just look at a map to see this hotel's best feature. it has an excellent location. room was spacious and comfortable. it has a good pool and health club.
room wifi doesn't work. i stayed here 5 days so i had plenty of time for observation. it just doesn't work. it's better in the lobby but still really slow. it's a 24 story hotel with only 4 elevators. you'll spend a lot of time waiting particularly if you're trying to use them when a chinese tour group arrives. breakfast was pretty awful. eggs cooked to order was the best choice which is pretty sad for an asian hotel.
Staff were mostly helpful and kind. Was able to book tours directly in the lobby area. Breakfast was good. Airport transport was convenient. Located very close to the night market.
Good location! A lot was walkable and it was in a safe neigborhood.
Wifi didn't work in the room even though you pay for it, breakfast was awful, and my room has a sewage smell in the bathroom for the entire duration.
Compulsory New Year gala dinner. While it was included in the room rate, it was not stated during my booking here on booking.com. I didnt attend and hence wasted 3000 baht as it could not be cancelled nor refunded.
New Year Eve Party It must not be compulsary! The foods are not worth 2,800 Baht, the drinks (even the first two) were not free. The hotel charge taxes for the New Year Eve Party!!!!!! How come? In fact, my Thai friends invite me to have the dinner on Dec 31.
