Great location - sits right next to the night market. Multi-channel LCD. Rich breakfast. Luxurious Lobby and rooms. Wonderful view (our room was at the 14th floor).

WiFi is not free.

The location is excellent. The choice of restaurants in the hotel are good and fairly priced. The pool, spa and gym are used by hotel guests and also others who pay a subscription but not too busy. The staff are friendly and attentive and the hotel is clean and well presented.

We liked the hotel and enjoyed our short stay.

I was extremely dissapointed on all fronts with the hotel.

1. I did not like the staff outside the hotel, they were staring and making comments at me that made me feel very uncomfortable. 2. The reception staff were so rude. They would begine serving you and then if someone were to approach the front desk they would stop what they were doing for you and deal with someone else. 3. They want money for everything. My friend stayed in Pornping and the maps were free, wifi was free etc etc this hotel even charged my for New Year and I didn't even go. I lost my key and they wanted 1000bacht 4. The hotel was quiet and everyone around the area new this. It doesn't have a good reputation with locals and people in the hotel who spoke English complained a lot to me.

Close to everything. Good location. Staff friendly. Bed very comfortable. Stayed in the business executive floor. Excellent value for money. Really enjoyed our stay. Would return to this hotel again without hesitation.

The Hotel shuttle to airport is more expensive than you take airport taxi. Airport taxi charge only thb.120 But if you take hotel shuttle, it will charge thb.130 / person. It is not resonable price for hotel guest.

Location and friendly staff

the hotel is verydtaed and needs refurbishing. There is no free wifi. Smoking is allowed in the rooms and we found 2 rooms unacceptable due to the odor of cigarettes.The lifts are totally inadequate for the number of guests that hotel accommodates.

The breakfast was great, however if the staff served with a friendly smile it would have been better.

The staff were not friendly at the hotel at all from checking in when the consierge did not offer to jelp with bags or direct us to where reception was, as it was on another floor. The pool staff would not acknowledge us to give a towel ....... Then there was checkout where we were charged for items not used from the mini bar, to no help with bags again. My wallet was stolen in the entrance of this hotel as I was leaving, and I didn't realize until 30 minutes later when we were 50 Km's away. I spent all afternoon at the police station in another area trying to make contact and all day they had not located my wallet with all my $$$$ and cards. It turned out after police asked the manager to check video footage the discovered that their security had taken it but failed to report it for over 8 hours. I returned to the hotel the next day, with no help or support from the hotel, over $300 was missing and credit cards cancelled but all in all very lucky.

The location, even though the hotel is 4 stars it feels like 5 stars!!! I booked 2 nights and got free breakfast. The pool is very nice

We were pleased that we were pick up at the airport as schedules and were check in the hotel although we arrive early. Breakfast choices are fairly good as well.Staff from reception to bell boy no complaint. Location is fairly good with walking distance to markets and short distances by TUT TUT to various shopping complex and good restaurant. Within the vicinity of the hotel, there were the foot massages parlour but just so so only. For night life there is the street of pub which we enjoy very much with the drinks, pool snooker and of course the beautiful ladies. For better fun, there is the AGO GO club, one's must not miss even you are a couple. Reasonably cheap and fun....find it out!!!!

Everythings being good except that the room need refurnishment on the bathroom which is outdated. The hotel was kind to upgraded by room to the Business Plus Double Room. I had to pay 100% of the different in the room rates, therefore this is not an upgraded room AT ALL.

One major downside - internet / WiFi pricing. Gentlemen, this is 2012 not 2002!

The location is perfect. The Dynasty Club is great value for money.

The room smell was not good and also the smell was in the ways to rooms. Also we found some troubles in the room like dirty kittle and leaky valve in bathroom and also the hair dryer was faulty. The room is good in cleaning as a 4 star hotel. Please choose nearby hotels which are better and abit higher rate

It was a comfortable hotel and an ideal location for a visit to Chiang Mai. The rooms were OK. Bathrooms were kind of small and awkward to use.The shower sprayed on the floor when turned on. The room was dated but the facilities were quite adequate. The breakfast was very good, I recommend the hotel and would stay here again. The price was very good.

The hotel is close to all ammenities,night market,coffee shops,general shopping,eating places,bars and many massage saloons. There are also many day and overnight tours available from this location,Golden Triangle,Pai,many temples,waterfallsand parks and golf courses closeby. The staff are always full of smiles and help as much as possible. Language problems seem to be easily overcome. From the reception area to the room staff,the function room staff and all restaurant staff you are treated with respect making it a great place to stay. Centara gets my vote as clean,comfortable and can be very relaxing, I will certainly stay there again. Not to be forgotten are the gym facilities and pool area available to all including shallow pool area for littlies
