Centara Grand At Centralworld  

The location is good, nice bed

I arrived early (11am) from a long flight and would not let me check in until 2pm.

Excellent value for money and extremely warm and hospitable staff.

Room layout was a little awkward and cumbersome for a vacation couple. As a solo traveller I would not mind it but as a couple with more luggage, the packing and unpacking was a little difficult.

Good location close to lots of good shopping and city centre facilities. Good pool facilities and outlook. 55th floor bar and restaurant - great view and good service. Fresh fruit provided to room each day a nice touch. Generally good sevice with a minimum of fuss.

Beds tend to be a bit firm for our taste, but that is common in Asia. Airconditioning is sometimes too good compared to outside temperature.

Having all the shops and restaurants at Centralworld next door was very convenient

The restaurants in the hotel were a little expensive

The family loved that it is very close to Platinum Mall for shopping. Central World Mall is a good place to have dinner.

It would be better if they offer free shuttle from/to the airport. A little bit far from the BTS Skytrain (exactly between Siam and Chitlom Station). I think Siam Station is closer from the hotel. Good buffet, friendly staff and clean rooms!

The hotel is well design and extremely comfort. It's equipped with excellent facilities. In the hotel you can find full range of gormet restaurant. In the Cetral shopping center, below the hotel, you can find entertainment and shops.

The access to the central shopping mall from the hote isn't the best. The rooms finish (walls and taps) need some maintenance.

Our stay was awesome . will like to stay again in same hotel for sure excellent service

The worst experience I got and it was in this hotel. Hotel staff MUST be very accurate with the guests. I stayed at this hotel with the co-founder of the company that I manage. He is a young gentleman of Thai nationality. He uses to wear the casual clothes (though this 5* hotel accommodated mostly the business owners and the people following the strict formal dress code) and he's young enough - just 23 years old. The concierge at the hotel asked him in impolite way if my business partner was a male prostitute came to visit their client at the hotel. After that incident my business partner moved to Intercontinental Hotel because the staff there never let themselves to be such impolite!!!! IT IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR SUCH A HIGH STANDARDS HOTEL AND MUST BE EXCLUDED. I was very upset because of this incident.

Me and my wife spent 7 nights/days, swimming, sporting, dining and relax and sun tan. Everyday new experiance of shopping and restaurants in Central World........ Fantastic!!!!

Appreciated they provided a bottle of champagne as anniversary gift. But room service and front desk staffs was not understand our requests. Like we asked to change the ice and ice bucket, was delayed. Asked front desk staff regarding the time of the fireworks starts... But answered the operation hours of red lounge. We came back at 3pm, but the room was nt yet serviced. Until we called.... Also the cutlery was not changed, even we used one set.
