Centara Grand At Centralworld  

The location is good, nice bed

I arrived early (11am) from a long flight and would not let me check in until 2pm.

great location. you can get down to big shopping centre without get out of the building. take the sky walk to siam center and siam paragon.

you have to pay to use wifi while most of the hotels is free of charge. not a complain on this one, the lady was trying to sell us updrading room to executive floor for around 1,800 baht a night. we didn't fall for that.

Rooms are good. Plenty of F&B opportunities both in hotel/outside. Reception is on 23rd floor. To go out of the hotel you have to come to the ground floor. All staff on the ground floor look like zombies. No one smiles. No one to help you to get a taxi. If you have no plans of going out anywhere the hotel is OK. For shopping and eating within the building the hotel is fine.

Really convenient location, comfortable rooms, nice pool and gym, plus great views from the bar on the roof!

They didn’t have wireless internet and they charge for using the internet compare to other hotels in Bangkok where they give it as complementary

Very friendly staff, starts already at the reception. The rooms are not very big but big anough (stayed at the club Floor) The snacks at the Club floor are very good, fresh, very, very nice view over Bangkok!!!!! Finally an Hotel where the staff accept your privacy, when you put Do Not Disturb, the Hotel will not even call you, but when needed react very fast and very polite, REALLY 5*****+

A good central location with accommodation in a 55 level mixed commercial and hotel tower building sitting atop the largest and most modern shopping centre in Bangkok. The hotel is in easy "skywalking" distance to the BTS skytrain system and Siam shopping complex. The Silom nightmarket and PatPong is only 2 stations away. The other main shopping centres of MBK and the Platinum centre are also close by. Centralworld is huge and includes cinemas and a large number of restaurants. All of an individual's shopping needs can be met in this centre.

This advertised 4 star hotel is currently really only at 3 or 3 and a half star rating. I couldn't believe the amount of mould growing in the silicone grouting around the bathroom hand basin.which appeared to have been there a long time. A handyman could replace this grouting in about 10 minutes. Minor areas of wall paper aroung the main external window frame were peeling. Again a small amount of PVA glue would fix this with about 60 seconds of effort.There were also spillage stains on the fabric main sitting chair in the room. It was evident some attemps had been made in the past to clean the fabric but the stains were such that neither my partner or I wanted to sit on this chair as it seemed unclean to us. There is no shower recess so guests have to negotiate a modern circular bath tub which is about 75 cms high.

Location if you looking for shopping and resturants.

Value of money,size of the room, too small.

It is Perfect location for Business Traveller and for people who love shopping and eating..An ideal center point to aceess the balls and eateries...

Since last 4 years centara grand is same..they need a makeover for the price they ask per room..they are not all flexibile for late checkout...

Prime Location - walking distance to all main shopping areas Buffet Breakfast was fresh and had a good selection

I had a wonderful stay at centara grand, it's near all major shopping mall in Bangkok. The best was it's connected to central world shopping mall. Its completely safe to leave your children in the room if u want to go shopping alone. I would recommend this hotel to all my frens.
