Centara Grand At Centralworld    

It was very nice, clean, and the rooms really well designed. It was also centrally located, and within a 20 minute walk to several different sky rails, including the airport rail.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The room is clean and staff are very friendly. They will follow up with guest's query and satisfy guests' needs.

The reservation team replied email very late and there is no shuttle bus from airport to hotel as free service.

The hotel did took care about the Halal Food. This made me relax and had nice in room dinning. They served it very well. Breakfast was very nice with multi choices. Very handy for the Qibla direction and Prayer carpet. High floor rooms have very nice view. The toilet is very comfortable and large and the bathtub is an extra +. I recommend this hotel.

The room is very good but would like to have it larger.

We were given a complimentary room upgrade. We had a wonderful time there! Shopping and restaurants are easily accessible on level 7 with full sheltered walkway which is very good for us with children.

Nice and big rooms. Well appointed room with high tech facilities. Nice view of the city skyline. Free WIFI is always welcome.

Cable TV programs a bit limited. Wifi although free tends to drop off regularly. Needs to be re-signed in regularly throughout the day.

Check in & check out very smooth. Room big enough with very spacious bathroom and a grand shower cabin. Comfortable big bed. The pool on the 26th floor is fun (if you have a kid) and the bar on the 55th floor offers spectacular views ! There is a big shopping mall next doors with lots of restaurants for the evening (if you want it easy and have kids). Try Nara. It opens at 10.00 so no good for breakfast (but good bakery). If you are solo (without the pram etc) access to the skytrain is ok.

Access to the hotel is tricky. It is quite a long way away from the skytrain. Access via shopping centre is difficult to find. The room should be cleaned a bit better too. There was thick rim of dust behind bedside tables. We also had to call for towels. Breakfast is ridiculously pricey. Fridge is off when you are out of the room. Staff at the pool were not very friendly. Quite far from the sightseeing areas & a long ish walk to the skytrain.

Had room om 41. floor (got upgraded) which was huge and really nice. Great interior and design in reception areas and public rooms. Great pool area on 25. floor. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. Wifi works all over (you need to enter a password all the time though)

Breakfast buffet really nice, but atmosphere very hectic and noisy and restaurant staff seemed tired and disengaged

Rooms are a bit small inspite of big bathroom. Lack of smoking lounge. It would be an added value if they had one.

They gave our a room which last guest left luggage inside . They didn't check it carefully . But they deal with it with good attitude for change our room and 2 welcome drinking at sky bar.

The hotel is very convenient whereas there are many shopping malls nearby. I didn't have to worry to walk at the sideways of the road as there are bridges provided which connected to each shopping mall along Siam street. I enjoyed the night view especially from the very top level of the hotel. But too bad, I didn't have a chance to try the reflexology as I called it was fully booked. I would love to stay at the Centara Grand again in the future. Thank you for your good services.

I loved the location of the hotel, right above a mall, and walking distance to a number of others! Also loved how friendly and helpful the staff were. Room condition was great.

Room very tired and completely overpriced. Much better (even 5 star) hotels available at this crazy price paid thb 7k for 54sqm room could've stayed at Sheraton for less

This hotel is OK but it is not 5*. 3* would be more accurate. Good location for the Skytrain and shopping - it sits on top of a large mall. Quiet.

We liked the view from the Red Sky bar and the interior design of the hotel. The facilities such as the pool and gym was nice. The convenience of the location.

We were very unhappy about the confusion with the check in reception staff. We approached different staff and each would give different versions of our booking. We had arrived around 1.30pm to check in and pay for our 2 nights stay for 3 rooms but the staff took about 30-45 mins to check us in . We were aware that we could only get into our rooms at 2 pm, so we had our lunch and came back to reception for our keys around 4.45pm and we were informed that our rooms were not ready. We were compensated with drinks voucher although we would have preferred to freshen up in our rooms. The hotel needs to improve on their computer system and hotel staff need to improve communication with each other.

High class hotel with all luxurious things possible.

I don't understand why 'expensive' hotels like Centara has to charge for internet or wifi. At low budget or standard hotels in Thailand wifi is provided for free, also often at the room itself. Maybe Centara is not making enough money and therefore has to charge 500 baht (euro 12,50) for an hour of wifi. Maybe they also should consider charging for using the tv or so.

The room was wonderful and very modern. Very spacious and bathroom very big as well. View from our room was amazing as is the view from the bar on 55th floor which you must travel up to even if it is just to walk around and the hotel leads right into the shopping centre, great for anyone that is coming to Bangkok to shop! Very central and ideal for us to go exploring in city.

Very expensive and staff so rude. We were on our honeymoon and treated ourselves to a meal on the 54th floor one night and the service was disgusting, we were ignored and had to wait over 45 minutes for our food even though it was not busy. Small things like our bread rolls which we were meant to recieve we didnt get until we got our food... after a 45 minute wait. We were so dissappointed especially as it was very expensive. Basically you are paying for the view which I understand but I expect staff to be polite to us. Traffic round hotel very bad, expect to be sitting in a taxi for a very long time - stick to the Skytrain or walk a couple of blocks and get a taxi then.

Highly appreciated the gesture of being sent a bottle of bubblies for our anniversary. Also they have changed our room as soon as we reported that there was a problem with the shower.

The hotel was bit run down compared to last year. It wasn't really worth the amount we payed for the executive level.

Superb service and a genuine pleasure to be there.
