Quiet place - clean - good pool. Nice beach though there is something in the water that "stings".

Laundry (a normal plasticbag) cost 3000 Bath! (About 70 eoúros) - could have had the laundry done other places for about 150 bath! Ridiculous!!!! - We stayed 12 days and ate at the reastaurant - very expensive - but the food is ok - somewhat small portions! Go and eat at the Bamboo place towards the Sanctuary - faceing the ocean from the hotel it is to the left and up the rocks -good food - better choice and cheAPER - + a wonderful view!!!! - we had booked a room with seaview - but we could hardly see the sea!!! Whwn we wanted to check out one day in advance we had to pay for the day that we did not stay there -

Being so close to the beach. Beach very quiet compared to neighbouring beaches but still enough to do.

Very slow service. Restaurant poor value for money.

At the first the way to the resort was terible. We have to wait like one hour to get pick up. The ride to the resort was like 40mins from the ferry pier. U can not reach with a taxi or something else, because we had to go over the mountains. With a special suv. It was very dangerous. It's not an usual rode. It's across the mountain up and down. As we finally arrive, the very unfriendly person who welcome us don't gave us a apologize for the unacceptable drive. No she or her, I don't know. The ladyboy said we have to pay for that 500 bath, it's like 12€ for that. So every time we want to get out we have to take this dangerous ride and pay 500 bath one way each person. So u have pay 1000 bath (25€) everytime when u want to leave. And the last ride is at 8pm and you get pick up at 8am. So 12 hour's later. No way. Terrible. We booked a oseanview room, but there was no oseanview. As we want to complain our issue we get kidded. She or her told us we don't have oseanview rooms. So why we paied more? I cecked some other rooms and there were rooms with oseanview. Couple hours later some guy came in our room and said, he need to check power. Since when u check the power with a drill machine? The service was slow and unfriendly. Everytime we want to order, we have to get to the service and pleased for the menu. We talked with some islander who live there for many years. They told us its the worst resort/hotel u can get. "It's only for monkeys and elephants" that's was there words. Everywhere on the island u can get free wifi, but at this resort it was so expensive. You feel like on the tv show lost there. No connection to the world and no way out. After all that uncomfortable stuff we saw, we want to check out. Of course we had to pay for the rest of days and again for the ride of death to get out At all it was so terrible. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

The location is great and the manager of the resort was lovely and tentative. We needed help carrying our luggage from another beach to a ferry so he offered to send two of staff with us on a taxi boat to assist us since we were travelling with two young kids. In general the staff were lovely and kind. Definitely the best option for haad yuan in koh pha ngan, since there isn't anything better there.

The rooms were the price of a high end resort but it felt a bit like a budget resort rather than something a bit more spoiling. The rooms were ok, but felt a bit dirty. The linen and towels felt cheap and overused. Breakfast was mediocre. The wifi connection was terribly slow and expensive, but when the weather was stormy we could't connect at all.
