Chaba Samui Resort  

Being rudely confronted by front desk staff some time after check out about taking 2 x 500ml bottles of water from room and not paying. I thought the water was complimentary, yet it was not explained at check in that the water was not free. Perhaps a more simple policy of what is free could be introduced. to save embarrassing situation for guests.

The service was poor charging for ice really poor English

Clean And good location. Toni from guest services was very helpful in organizing airport transfers and tours for our group.

Front office staff not very friendly. Messed up during check in and mistakenly charged 4000tbt to my credit card instead of another party checking in at same time. Were unable to inform ne when the refund would come through.

Terrific location next to beach, away from the busiest part of the Chaweng strip but not too far that you can't walk to things. Recommend if you're not a fan of all the touristy restaurants you walk about 500m south to the night market for cheaper food, also in this area are cheaper Thai restaurants once you get off the main strip.

Bit of noise from the Duke Bar on the main street late at night, thankfully the aircon mostly muffled it. Stayed in the Ocean view wing.

Location, close to everything. Close to the beach, and the hotel has heaps of sunbeds. Breakfast very good. We'r happy with our stay here and would definitly book this hotel again!!

The staff were superb as was the room. The hotel backs on to the sea and the pool.

Good friendly staff, great location with good view of the lake side (where I stayed) and even better view of the beach on the other half of the resort. Breakfast by the pool side, and view of the beach was a wonderful experience. Massage/Relaxation by the pool side was also a good feature. Hotel staff filled us in on information on how to get around town on tours and by ourselves too. Free Wifi in rooms.

It's not value for money. People at reception are arrogant and not friendly. Sea view rooms are not actually sea view. You can only have a peep of the sea thro' the dense greenery/trees.Breakfast spread is poor and needs improvement. On day 2 of my stay , they ran out of 'butter' at the breakfast spread!! No mobile/laptop charging points in the room! No light on the dressing table. Light points awkwardly placed. In all it was a poor decision to have chosen this hotel .

Excellent location. Very helpful staff (although minor issues with staff only speaking minimal English). Try to get an Ocean Wing room as it is closer to the beach - only exit building, walk past pool and you're on the beach. Supermarkets and various different restaurants nearby. Excellent massage facility next to the beach for same price as the spas on the street which is a great bonus. Food from the beach bar was very tasty and good service!

Lake wing is located next to a pub which parties until late at night every night of the week so would be quite noisy if trying to sleep.

The staff are nice. The breakfast is very good. Really close to the beach.

Decoration is kind of old style.

несколько раз не хватило лежаков на пляже. на просьбу принести от бассейна было отказано. не всегда пополняют моющие принадлежности, чай и кофе. правда после замечания исправились.

Mooi hotel met zwembad gelijk aan de zee.

Kamers mogen wel weer eens een opknap beurt, maar zijn prima.

Tout est très bien en particulier le petit dej compris ou il ne manque rien. bien placé pas loin des activités nocturne mais assez éloigné pour être au calme. plage calme , bien équipé avec parasols, chaises longues et serviettes gratuits. nous y retournerons

Servicen från personalen. Var en som alltid höll upp dörren tex. Bra pool och närhet till strand och restauranger.

Rummet var ganska lyhört. Blev väckt varje natt av andra hotellgäster som kom hem.

Personalet er meget søde og hotellet ligger meget centralt for både strand, shopping og restauranter.

Personalet I receptionen kunne indimellem godt virke sure og mindre imødekommende når man havde brug for hjælp.
