Chalala Samui Resort  

Very nice place to stay. 10 min walk to the center. Friendly and helpful staff. Motorbikes for rent (150 baht per day).

Beach at the hotel is not very nice. You need to go couple of kilometers to the south for a nice beach. Food at the hotel restaurant is not very good.

Beautiful clean pool! Ocean front, restaurant is steps away from room and the tables are literally on the beach. Very romantic!

Not modern design at all, as stated bungalows. Nothing luxurious but we enjoyed the bungalow very much!

Nice hotel with good pool area/beach front bar restaurant, 5 minute walk to busy chawang beach area. Lovely beach on doorstep, good swimming and snorkeling.

We stayed only one night, but bungalow was really nice and spacious. Very close to the beach and place where are no algae so we could swim.

Nice bangalos in a nice garden leading to the beach. One could also find a taxi agency right across the road,a Seven Eleven, Family Mart and other shops. It is also very quite at night.

Nothing in particular. All seems to be well.

Great location, great staff, it`s paradise:) we enjoyed it a lot and the food is excellent in their restaurant. We had a fabolous week here.

Kind people , everywhere is very clean , restaurant is very good , nice hotel for a small budget (1500 baths/night is enough)

No sunbed on the beach , the beach is not so nice on this part of chaweng , the best is from the middle of chaweng to the south , the rooms situated next to the reception are noisy during the night ( road ) , the ac is situated above the bed and it's difficult to sleep with !

I thought the staff were very friendly. I liked that they personally came to our bungalow and reminded us what time check out was the day before we were due to check out. Liked the tropical gardens and the bungalow

There wasn't much lighting in the bathroom and I found it difficult to shave in the evening as I couldn't see!

The good arrangement, near all entertainments, but isn't present noise. We lived in extreme number, at once behind a reception (noise from the road it wasn't audible) rent of motor-bikes on a reception, inexpensive restaurant, everyday cleaning of numbers, the friendly personnel on a reception

Staff were excellent, the bungalows were basic, but very comfortable. You are literally meters from the beach. Its a very cute, relaxing place to stay. 10 minutes walk by road or beach to the busy resort, a perfect location. Quiet, but close enough to the action.

unique design and comfy family bungalow, amenities provided, clean mini pool, with public beach, delicious food at the cafe, cheap and nice massage right on the beach, 7-11, family mart, pharmacies right opposite the resort, walking distance to crowded town, away from crowded area it's good for relaxing without noise

Kind and helpful staff, but only 1 able to communicate in english.

The place had charisma.

We loved everything about the Chalala Samui Resort. The rooms have a lot of character and are very clean. Their pool is immaculate and their restaurant is right on the beach. The location is great (a quick walk along the beach to the city centre) and the service from all the staff was excellent. I have to make a special mention to Jazz who really made us feel very welcome and comfortable the moment we arrived. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Koh Samui... Thank you guys! =)

Lovely location right by the beach. You can see the sea from the swimming pool. 5 minutes walk from the main stretch so very quiet and peaceful. Staff very friendly. Has an absolutely amazing time at Chalala. Thank You :)

The toilet is located right behing the wall from the bed and oddly there are slatted latch windows between the rooms right above the bed. So not much privacy in the bathroom.

nice place. Beach is upfront. The rooms nice and clean.

Shower was not the best. The water never got warm to enjoy it.

Fabulous place. Clean quirky rooms right near the beach. Lovely swimming pool. Great on site restaurant. Far enough out to be relaxing but only about a 10 minute walk into the centre if you we're looking for some action. Super friendly and helpful receptionist ( Jazz).

Wished we'd been able to stay more than 4 nights.

Toilet bowl is small and not fit for "heavy" use

I got in at 10:30 pm on New Years Eve, I was placed in the first bungalow from reception, I went out around 10:50 and got back around 3am! First thing I knew receptionist was knocking on my door at 12 noon as I'd missed check-out! So other than my room, didn't see a single part of the resort/property...so other than the fact the bed was very comfy and the room was very cool, I have absolutely no idea what the place was like!!

Very nice rooms, with unique stylistic touches. Wonderful location on the beach, with a friendly staff.

Sound can carry a little too well between some rooms.

The lady at reception was awsome. She was so helpful!!there is a pool which was great and they give you cutlery from the restaurant to use in your room if you want to make own food. Theres also a 7-11 and family mart right across the road, and its close enough to walk to everything, but far enough to get a quite nights sleep.

The beach is quite small, but can walk to the resort next door to tan and chill.

Friendly staff, nice receptionist. Silent, clean and well maintained small hotel. Good location

Narrow sand. Bunks are available only near swiming pool but there are no on the beach.

Spacious, comfortable and clean. They sweep the beach in front of the resort daily. The manageress was very accommodating and helpful.

The bed was a small bit hard for me.
