This was most definitely a four star place or may be a five star place but that would have been 10 or 15 years ago, it is now very dated although a large hotel at a good price I wouldn't certainly not be staying there again. We had dinner in their restaurant and it was absolutely disgusting and greasy,we have had better quality food outside with the small local Thai street vendors, this is not 4 star dinning more like no star.

Clean. Convenient for Rachadapisek, Lardprao areas and on the underground, Sukhumvit is also easily reached. Pool good, but 120cm shallow end. Gym area seemed excellent and the hot pool, most invigorating. Ordered room service once. American breakfast. Soft boiled eggs were hard. They replaced them however and the replacements came with a full side plate of bacon and tomatoes.

I stayed in this hotel for 9 days, and since the day I arrived I felt like everybody so friendly and helpfull. Specially there are options of restaurants in this hotel so you don have to worry because they open till late night even hallal food just in the front door and the price quite reasonable. Easy to get taxi (make sure to ask to use the meter) and only 5 minutes walking distance to MRT.

Close enough to an MRT station to eliminate the need to take a taxi. There is no food court within a few minutes of walk. Meals in the hotel are expensive, perhaps expected because it is a four-star hotel.

The lady who cleaned the rooms was an absoloute darling and we had a whale of a time, but I do speak Thai. I liked just about everything about the hotel save the fact that it lies on the Rachada Pisek "highway" and you have to walk 500m to get a decent slice of local pineapple - from a local of course :-) If you like taking taxis and living in a European style bubble it is fine, indeed it is fantastic. I like a bit of Thai mixed in too. Only the very busy road outside the hotel, but this would not bother most visitors. I did a lot of walking in downtown Bangkok, visiting Temples and allsorts, getting to know the feel of my childhood home again.

The food was good for me as a foreigner but my Thai wife was unimpressed by the menu. The tv is very poor with only the bbc and some thai channels. Cable would be much better.

“This is my second time stay at this hotel. Both times I also asked for late check out and the hotel fulfill my request. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. During this stay the hotel's staff remember me and this actually make me feel warm. The room I initial took was had a bad internet connection, the staff was very helpful, they even help to check other available room with good connection then I change to the new room. The room provided a big working desk and working chair which is very good for business traveler like me.” Shiun, Bangkok |
