Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok    

I loved my room. Will come back in stay in 2606 for sure

Slightly out of the centre but taxis are relatively cheap. So not a huge concern. Being a 4+ star i expected thebreakfast to be included but again not a huge deal.

The shuttle boat to sathorn was great, staff were awesome, very friendly,polite and remembered us. Breakfast was nice, the suite and pool was great, but I think the staff made the place special.

Right on the river with a shuttle boat service to the trains.

A little bit off the main travel area and skytrain, so expect some taxi payments and delays for traffic.

I was upgraded on arrival, the suite was brilliant. The service was superb and location was great. Free boat to sky train made it easy to get around.

Most everything is good here. Stayed a few times and aways a pleasure. Staff are particularly good and breakfast is great.

The shower was not cleaned.

location is wonderful for 2 days, exceptional view over the river (room with riverview is the attraction), easy transport to the main temples on the riverside and the khlongs. most facilities good, breakfast daily pleasure. recommendable for short stays

i stayed in this hotel 2 years ago, it is ageing rapidly. bathroom, carpet dirty, leaking aircon from the room above, very poor internet connexion. after 2 days the disadvanatge of the location shows: taxi rides are long, and after a lengthy evening, finding your way back is a real problem, so you will have to make offerings to the Bangkok-taxi-mafia.

Friendly and useful staff

THe exellent service, very friendly staff. very well situated. Nice surrending. Great effort to please the customer after the complaint for the room not so clean.

The room not so clean,

staff and their approach to any issue is perfect. For eg. I booked for an extra bed for my daughter but when we arrived the hotel, find out that they don't have any so to correct the situation they upgraded us to a suit with a couch. The overall experience was perfect, I advise this hotel to everybody.

Due to the popularity morning breakfasts could be crowded but not a major issue.

It was our first trip to Bangkok and we weren't sure what to expect. What we found was a lovely, luxury hotel that was in an excellent location. There were three of us so we had a 2-bedroom suite with a kitchen and beautiful views of the river. The staff was friendly and could communicate fairly well in English. The pool was great! It was easy to catch the free boat to the catch the train or other boats to visit attractions. We highly recommend the Chatrium.

The hotel food prices are fairly high. And be warned, the river is polluted (nothing to do with the Chatrium, of course).

Breakfast expensive .

Very good breakfast. I love swimming in the swimming pool with river view. The room is spacious, I 've very good sleep in good bed. And the river view of bedroom is wonderful. The shuttle boat is newer than other 5 stars hotel, just 5 mins to the pier and a minute walk to bts, quite convenient even live in river side. The staff are helpful.

Cost of laundry service - it would have been cheaper to buy new shirts and socks! Pricing of soft drinks in the bar fridge - 600% mark up on the price of the same article from 7/11 was a bit hot! The value of our booking on line was undone when we were offered a river view for an extra tb 600 per night. While the Buffet Breakfast was delicious - at over Tb 1000 each morning it made for a more expensive stay than planned!

An excellent hotel. Couldn't be faulted. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We were upgraded to a suite on 32nd floor with excellent views, although the open balcony wouldn't be to everyone's taste. The restaurant was excellent value, and breakfast had every type of food you could possibly want. Peaceful riverside location, and easy to access city from dedicated boat, although a taxi is excellent value as well (Less than £2 to main train station). Lovely rooftop pool with bar

The boat only runs every half hour during the main part of the morning, whereas it is every quarter of an hour in early morning and all afternoon and evening

The hotel staff are helpful and supportive. It is river side and you can enjoy free shuttle boat from BTS Sapan Takshin to the hotel, which is enjoyable.

I think the price of the hotel is too expenisive. The hotel value is 4 star, but the price is 5 star one. Need more staff to check in, as it took longer time compared to other hotels of same price. When we checked in, the kitchin in our room is under repair work and very noisty with drill. We are not happy about that as the staff told us it took about 1 hour to finish the repair work. We did not say antyhing, but she changed our room in the end. They should not give such a room to guests.This never happen in 4 and 5 star hotels. The breakfast is poor with not many variation.No extra virgin olive oil for salad bar.
