Chaweng Garden Beach Resort    

the garden environment is very impressive, this hotel is located in the central of Chaweng, but be covered but quiet forest which shows great nature view. The facility of this hotel is very good too.

the water hole in the bthroom should be bigger cos water stuck and create small flood

Location, super friendly staff. The room we checked in, had quite a bit of mosquitoes inside, but the bellboy just handled it so well, he organised with housekeeping and before we knew, hsk arrived with a can of mosqito spray. thank you.

it was quite hard to find the entrance at night, as we left the hotel on the beach in the evening, not there fault, so make sure you look around for other signages.

I like this hotel very much! Clean and comfortable hotel, big and green territory! Very friendly staff and tasty breakfast.

Chaweng Garden beach resort is a beautiful hotel, so tropical with the trees and plants. Friendly staff. And perfect location, right on the beach.

I loved the friendly atmosphere here. The waiters, bar staff and reception were always welcoming and so friendly. I loved the beach was was so clean and I always managed to get a sun bed. The breakfasts were fantastic and the location is unbeatable... Lots of restuarants, cafes, shops and bars around.

Only that there were ants in the bathroom and near the mirror in the room I was staying in but I soon forgot about this .

Location in center of Chaweng shopping street. Nice pool & beautiful beach. Staffs very friendly. Quick check in & check out.

location central. max 5 min for everything. good beach with families and children bathing.

Beautyful beach, kind staff, wondetful garden, good location, many shopping facilities, many restaurant around the resort, few minutes walk from the busy main street but the room is quiet, so many massage salon

1. The sea right at the front of the hotel is inappropriate for swimming. Dirty, shallow, rocky. But 100m along the beach to the right - beautiful! 2. Paths in the hotel are sandy, what makes a rooms floor sandy too 3. A lot of Mosquitos 4. Noise from airplanes taking up right over the hotel. But at night they don't fly. 5. Rooms (even bungalos) very small.

Good location, friendly and helpful stuff. Quit good breakfast, and good pool. Very nice beach.

Reception staff very unfriendly and very rude. Asked to shorten our stay on arrival from 13 nights to 9 nights. Plenty of notice but still charged us cancellation fee of 4500 thb. Their attitude upset me and so did not enjoy staying here. The dated rooms are basic and painted dark green which feels like a sanatorium. The gardens are in fact dense jungle so the rooms are dark and mosquito ridden. Buy your own room spray. You will need plenty. Finally you will need ear plugs to sleep due to all night techno music from the surrounding clubs.

Proximity to the beach. Lovely breakfasts. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Close to restaurants and shopping. Close to beach dining. Great pool.

No flyscreen on patio door - could have saved them some electricity costs if we had it. Only one bedside lamp that was a bit dodgy - needed two. No internet for residents although there was wifi but we don't have any gadgets.

Convenience to shops etc Staff , clean good size rooms , breakfast , Have stayed twice and would book again Have referred to friends who have also stayed and enjoyed the hotel

Mosquitos

I loved the location, beach, lovely breakfast and free wifi. Lovely pool to cool down. The staff was very helpful, even though their English is not all that polished. I must recommend the restaurant on the beach. It was packed most nights we went there. Had a lovely time.

I did not like to walk down as early as possible to get a beach bed and not having a bed if I did not do this. Suppose you need to tip the guy working on the beach to keep you a bed. Saw others doing this. Shower early, no hot water later(well in our room) but it was ok and refreshing. Bring mozzie repellent spray/ plugs with the mats.

The location is really convenience, just walk out the hotel and you could find a lot of bars and restaurants on the street. On the other side for 2 minutes walking there is the wonderful beach to swim. The pool is a little bit small but who needs it when there is a beach? The staffs are friendly and the room are clean. Breakfast is good. It's basiclly everything in the resotr. I would totally come back to this hotel for the next vacation.

Service was excellent with staff willing to assist always. There was a very extensive choice during breakfast.

Some of the people I was travelling with booked the Standard Double room, and were left disspointed as apparently the room looked nothing like the room they saw when booking :( The Arko bar nearby plays loud music until 2am this can be heard throughout the complex, fine if you are awake but not if you want to sleep. Mosquitos!

Location, the lush tropical vegetation, the fabulous menu, having dinner on the beach.

The bedding; a flat sheet would have been handy. Instead of this being an option I had to remove the blanket from the slip cover and use that instead.

Moderately rich and good breakfast. Room nice and clean. Close to all amenities.

Continuously on the beach quite a wind and a modest swimming pool. Beach littered. Internet connection poor. Nothing big to complain, but next time we will try another option.
