Hotel was fantastic. The villa I'd asked for wasn't available so they upgraded me to the best suite available. I was right on the beach with fantastic views. Breakfast was great - nice choice of variety. The hotel has two pools - the main one by the beach and a 'garden pool' which seemed a bit quieter as not many kids there. Hotel was in a great location - a 5 minute walk to the main part for nightlife, bars, etc. All in all this was a fantastic break and I'd recommend it to anyone

The one issue is the beach - because of the rocks in front of the hotel location, the water is very very shallow and doesn't feel like a beach. If you want a proper beach feel with waves and all you have to walk further south for 5 - 10 mins. That said, if you want a quiet beach that's safe for families then this is perfect.

I traveled with my hasbund(we're 40&45, quite active). Best features about chaweng Regent are location (in center of crowdy Chaweng but hidden from loud night life, friendly staff, nice not big pool, good breakfasts. I would say it is nice in general.

This hotel is far not a 5 star property, but rather 4* or even 3* in terms of room cleaning (especially bath room), room size ( standard room is small for 2 pax), once we had to remind to clean our room. Has rather disappointing is the hotel beach. We choosed Chaweng Regent because of comments in Internet that the hotel's beach is very good for swimming, which is absolutely not! It is clean ( sand) but whiout any chances to swim even if to spend time trying to get to dipper enough water level. We would reccomend to go further to the right from hotel(if it is behind it back) another 500 meters and enjoy that part of Chaweng beach, near Centara hotel.

Noisy, expensive, bad shower and toilet, not the best breakfast. Will definitely not come back. Ever.

I like the staff and location was great.

How can you write what you didnt like if you cant complain! Didnt like the charge of an ice bucket in a spa villa and the cost for internet also for spa villa. Cost is high of spa villa over standard room Also have planes taking off over hotel

The location and overall ambience were excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. The beach is a nice stretch with calm waters and together with the 2 pools offered plenty of sun loungers to laze about. It was surprising how quiet the hotel is after coming in from the main road. A great retreat in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Chaweng.

Absolutely a fantastic resort with stupendous facilities and very helpful staff. Great location right at the Chaweng beach. Good value for money and I am going back next time as well !

Location was excellent, close to all Cheweng shops and restaraunts and right on the beach. Beautiful property. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would definetly stay again.

Unfortunately the prices in the hotels various bars and restaurants were prohibitively high

We have stayed here before and really enjoyed it, but 8 years later I wanted to do my research and make sure it was still the best. After much looking into I came back to it as the location, rooms and value for money I could not go past. Right on the edge of the busy part of Cheweng you are close enough to the action...but far enough way to enjoy the serenity and quiet. Great beach outfront with a pool close by...enjoy both with ease...also nicer sand than further along the beach and the waves are out further so you can relax in the gentle tide. Rooms were amazing...we got a suite with the open air jacuzzi and our room was right near the pool...priceless! Well worth the extra.

The design of the room was great. It was our honeymoon so they upgrade our room for free and put flowers on our bed. They also send as cake with candles for free.

Beautiful peasceful location wtih friendly staff. Hotels facilities where good. We stayed in a Royal villa which was excellant. ~Although inside the hotel grounds it is very peaceful you are 2 mins walk from the bars, restaurants on the main strip.
