Very friendly staff and a Nice place to stay
The hotel has a very nice interior design and the rooms have all the usual comforts. Kin, a young lady who worked at the reception, was very kind and helpful and gave us information on where to go and what to see. The breakfast buffet was plenty and very good. They also give you a free bottle of water everyday. The hotel is just outside the city's ancient walls and you can walk to the center of the city in about 15 minutes maximum. The Saturday market is just 3 minutes on foot from the hotel. It also has a tour desk from which we booked a day trip and it was awesome. The price wasn't very expensive in comparison with other adventurous trips (1000 baht per person, I asked the lady for a discount and she gave it to us for 900). The day trip included transportation, orchids and butterflies garden, elephant riding, traditional meal, jungle trekking and bath at a waterfall, rafting - bamboo rafting, visit to a local tribe's village and of course, a guide through the whole trip. Nice hotel - nice city. Endless things to do and see.
I shouldn't really write a good report about this hotel because then everyone will stay there. Location is excellent. Staff excellent. Breakfast excellent though they need to light the food warmers. Quiet location but shame about the very noisy americans. Will be there next year.
Room could do with a bit of tlc. Toilet seat cracked ( ouch ). Shower head needs cleaning out. A/C needs cleaning. Shame about the 20+ year old americans shouting from room to room at all hours of the night. NO consideration for other residents. Needs a larger car park.
Great swiming pool very Kindly staff, Good Morning breakfest
The room are just old.. Everything is old and look antehic…. The shower is the worst I every see
Close to Chiang mai gate, down a side street so it was nice and quiet.Plenty off places to eat near by.Walking markets on Saturday and Sunday were all only a few hundred meters away. Tourist info in the hotel was handy.Breakfast was ok. All in all I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
Signing for a towel when at the pool.
Inexpensive good location
tiny bathroom clogged shower nozzles poor breakfast buffet and horrible coffee
Give me more chance and time to safari in the city
The location was ok, peaceful but not very close to the night bazaar or the old city. The saturday market was just around the corner. The staff was quite professional and polite and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was also a free transit to the night bazaar every day at 8 pm. Great value for money. The wifi did not work in the rooms.
The pool was dirty and quite noisy due to the chicken farm next door. The breakfast was quite basic, nothing special.
The location was just next to the Saturday Walking Road, and very close to the Sunday Walking Road. The staff was just amazing and the pool very nice and sunny. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was very nice as well.
Location was near to the wulai walking street and street food, about 7 mins walk away.
Drainage wasn't very good, shower area was flooded after a while.
Location, the hotel is very central and close to travel agent, 711 and several bars and restaurants within 40mtrs. WiFi is only available within the public areas which is an inconvenience but not insurmountable. All in all a very pleasant stay.
The Harder Beds
. Location . Stuff . Clean
Poor wifi reception in lounge and restaurant areas. No wifi available in the rooms.
Staff where very friendly but not professional.
Windows were left open in foyer letting mosquitoes in. Even a note to the manager didn't change things. Not good in a country with mozzy diseases.
The hotel was nice and clean and staff were friendly
I think the only thing I didn't like was the wi-fi which only works in the lobby and pool areas and not on any of the floors. We'd travelled around Thailand for our honeymoon and had relied on Wi-Fi to book flights and hotels and such and whilst i'm Chiang mai I was meeting up with a old friend and we were trying to communicate on the web. Having to run up and down to the lobby to check messages. And such.
Pool was great, staff were amazingly helpful
Internet was sometimes a challenge and restricted to communal areas
Close to old city, local cousine, good pool, close to airport, close to saturday walking market. Good breakfast in local restaurant.
Poor wifi coverage and speed. Poor dinner in hotel restaurant. Poor coffee. Poor English of staff. Staff at pool not always present.
Staff - friend and helpful. Was wondering to see all the staff getting along and being happy. LOCATION - close to MAIN GATE and close enough but far enough from Songkran celebration
Poor Cleanliness - bed sheet had stains. Room had foul smell when entered. Washroom was mouldy, leftover hair. We had booked a standard room. Our friends had booked a deluxe room and it was a tad big cleaner but nonetheless, still dirty. The guesthouse we had previously stayed in was way cleaner than this place, and for half the price.
Location near Sat walking street and nightly food stalls Swimming pool Lift
Breakfast -tired -precooked and sitting around Booking.com rate is good but walk-in rate exhorbitant No internet in rooms, wifi in noisy lobby is slow, fast paid ones not working
clean, pleasant and quiet and good value for the price
Could to with a makeover, the decor in the rooms and around the pool area dated and shabby.
Close to town, free shuttle to the night bizarre, great adjoining rooms. Songkran was awesome!
Wifi was a bit sketchy, but the Wifi at the pool was reasonably reliable
The hotel is located in town so it's convenient and close to Wualai walking street.
The breakfast is very poor selection both Western and Thai, there are only 2 Thai veggie menus no meat or pork in. They look like vegetarian food to have with rice, fried rice and rice soup. The breakfast really need to improve if we compare with the other same rate hotels!!! The breakfast is really disappointed!!
I loved the athmosphere in the hotel everyone was very friendly
We were in room 407 next to the maids quarters it was quite noisy of a morning
Free breakfast was poor Wifi kept going off and had power cut
