location & very good budget hotel
Not in the center but this is fine. Swimming pool has no sun from 5pm due to the building. This is a little disappointing.
Nice staff with good advices. Tours can be booked right in the hotel.
Poor wifi and bas mood at breakfast.
Pool ok. Andy, the lady of the guide tours and all that was very helpfull. We arrange with her to go to see the elephants.
Breakfast poor. Pillows were hard.
Staff friendly. Nice pool area.
Some reception staff need to do a course in customer service, appearing to hold a high opinion of themselves and a low opinion of their customers.
You can hear cocks in the early morning, but we did not mind.
Location is great, nice hotel with a local touch, not another hiper-tourist hangar. Great service, we changed the room without problem, big choice of trips in hotel offer. Good breakfasts.
Location, shops around and the Thai-style.
room , shower & breakfast
Out door pool.
wifi is hit and miss
Hotel was a fair price and very comfortable. Really nice pool and bar area.
The room I was in was scruffy. The tile grout in the bathroom looked as if it had been done by a five year old. The frame of the sliding doors that a notice urged me to ensure I locked, was not actually attached to the wall. The hotel is carpeted which tends to encourage fleas in a tropical climate.
Location is good and pleasantly quiet. Good pool and helpful staff.
Breakfast Wifi Shower 2 of the reception staff
Location was fantastic Value for money was worth it
90% of the reception staff were awkward to deal with.
standards were set high
Very friendly staff and a Nice place to stay
The hotel has a very nice interior design and the rooms have all the usual comforts. Kin, a young lady who worked at the reception, was very kind and helpful and gave us information on where to go and what to see. The breakfast buffet was plenty and very good. They also give you a free bottle of water everyday. The hotel is just outside the city's ancient walls and you can walk to the center of the city in about 15 minutes maximum. The Saturday market is just 3 minutes on foot from the hotel. It also has a tour desk from which we booked a day trip and it was awesome. The price wasn't very expensive in comparison with other adventurous trips (1000 baht per person, I asked the lady for a discount and she gave it to us for 900). The day trip included transportation, orchids and butterflies garden, elephant riding, traditional meal, jungle trekking and bath at a waterfall, rafting - bamboo rafting, visit to a local tribe's village and of course, a guide through the whole trip. Nice hotel - nice city. Endless things to do and see.
Room could do with a bit of tlc. Toilet seat cracked ( ouch ). Shower head needs cleaning out. A/C needs cleaning. Shame about the 20+ year old americans shouting from room to room at all hours of the night. NO consideration for other residents. Needs a larger car park.
I shouldn't really write a good report about this hotel because then everyone will stay there. Location is excellent. Staff excellent. Breakfast excellent though they need to light the food warmers. Quiet location but shame about the very noisy americans. Will be there next year.
The room are just old.. Everything is old and look antehic…. The shower is the worst I every see
Great swiming pool very Kindly staff, Good Morning breakfest
Signing for a towel when at the pool.
Close to Chiang mai gate, down a side street so it was nice and quiet.Plenty off places to eat near by.Walking markets on Saturday and Sunday were all only a few hundred meters away. Tourist info in the hotel was handy.Breakfast was ok. All in all I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
tiny bathroom clogged shower nozzles poor breakfast buffet and horrible coffee
Inexpensive good location
Give me more chance and time to safari in the city
The pool was dirty and quite noisy due to the chicken farm next door. The breakfast was quite basic, nothing special.
The location was ok, peaceful but not very close to the night bazaar or the old city. The saturday market was just around the corner. The staff was quite professional and polite and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was also a free transit to the night bazaar every day at 8 pm. Great value for money. The wifi did not work in the rooms.
The location was just next to the Saturday Walking Road, and very close to the Sunday Walking Road. The staff was just amazing and the pool very nice and sunny. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was very nice as well.
Drainage wasn't very good, shower area was flooded after a while.
Location was near to the wulai walking street and street food, about 7 mins walk away.
The Harder Beds
Location, the hotel is very central and close to travel agent, 711 and several bars and restaurants within 40mtrs. WiFi is only available within the public areas which is an inconvenience but not insurmountable. All in all a very pleasant stay.
. Location . Stuff . Clean
Poor wifi reception in lounge and restaurant areas. No wifi available in the rooms.
