Good shower&beds. Nice breakfast. Perfect stay! Very close to night market.
A little bit further from real center but with a tuktuk you are there within no time.
Need To Modevcation for Bathroom what Arab required and also thai
Location was awesome. 3 min from night market. 10 min walking from old city In front of a laundry (USD1,5 per kilo), 2 min from a good japanese and Italian restaurant
The shower was not too strong and wifi was poor In The bedroom (on hall and on bedrom corridor was good)
The only thing good it is near by night bazar
The AC cooling, the technician came and checked he said that this is the best we can do i called the duty manager also he said this is the best we can do There is no iron in house keeping Breakfast in zero I found flying insect in the restaurant Most staff cant speak english so if you think to go to this hotel you need a translator ! No scale in the hotel I don't recommend this hotel at all This hotel didn't reach the level of. 4 star hotel yet
Good and quiet location but most facilities wasn't update yet.close distance walking to night bazzar (night market).
Staffs were not friendly. they were not accommodated for any change when you asked, even talked to their supervisor.
Good location and size of room
The room we stayed 528 is haunted. one half of the bed is hot the other is freezing cold even with the aircon switch off. My wife was awaken the whole night with something whispering and touching her face. I was freezing cold under the sheet while my wife is sweating next to me.
very good hotel with good location near big market n new CBD.
Location close to market. Atmosphere of lobby and good security at car park.Adequate gym and pool facilities.Bell hops were attentive as was tour counter.Beds were comfortable.Good price.....the cheapest at this time for 4 star hotel in ChiangMai.
Rooms in the 1st wing facing the main street are not up to 4 star standard for cleanliness.A.C.ducts and windows never been cleaned!Carpeted areas are very musty and need steam cleaning.Reception staff were deficient in English skills to help with necessary information to overseas guests, for example how to access free WiFi and breakfast coupons. Most guests had to find out this info themselves or have repeated frustrating conversations with the staff at reception. No safety deposit box in rooms as this is standard now for most 4*hotels in Thailand.2nd level of hotel is abandoned and could have bats living there, dark n dingy. Please could this space be used! The manager of the hotel needs to read this as failure to do it will lead to many more guests NOT returning to the hotel. If the above suggestions are not actioned I would NOT stay in the Plaza next time I come here, would rather pay more money and get a better hotel that does provide 4star services
Plaza hotel has a great location, close to supermarkets, banks, restaurants and night bazar, however it's located on a quite street. Breakfast buffet has a veriety of food and the staff are very hospitable.
This is my second stay at Plaza, I only hope that the management would really put some extra effort on the clealiness of the rooms and breakfast buffet restaurant.
Fantastic hotel at a good location just outside the old town, close to the night bazaar and bars and restaurants. Great pool
Late check in time, spa means only massage
Its handy to the night market and a few good local restaurants. Spacious rooms but they need to start spending some money inside these rooms to get them up to date. Would I stay here again. Probably would because the price is right. Great swimming pool. Spectacular entrance to the foyer of this hotel.
Breakfasts are a joke. Eggs - Cold, Bacon - cold, All hot foods - cold. The only luke warm food was the Miso (rice soup) So when it was called Pork Miso what I would do was grab 2 pork sausages and cut them up into small pieces and put them into the rice just so the rice had some pork in it. There was only 1 other thing you could get hot at breakfast. Make the chef make you an omelette. Don't take 1 of the ready made. Why ? They're cold. Book a room without the breakfast and eat out in the street. Then again there's no difference in the price of a room with or without the cold Breakfasts. Hotel management needs to get they're act together and start listening to all of the complaints.
Walking distance to night bazaar and proximity to saturday and sunday bazaar. Hotel is outdated but still ok just to go and sleep.
I had booked 3 nights through booking.com and I wanted to extend my stay by another 2 nights staying in the same room. The staff at the front counter could not do it (hello is this not part of their customer service) and told me i had to rebook it on booking.com. When i rebooked i did not realised that the 3 rooms left on their site were not of the same standard that i had. So i had to pack all my stuff and changed room for the last 2 days. I was not a happy customer.
1. location 2. Big room 3. Breakfast- choice of varity
1. Room cleaning is not satisfactory- I have stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, and I requested to change my bed sheet for every 2 nights due to "protect the enviorment" policy. Unfortunately, the bed sheet never changed for 5 night, use the same one. Why do I know, the hole of the bed sheet same as the one I checked in the hotel in the first day. 2. Breakfast- no change of choice, everyday is the same. 3. Rooms need to renovation, most of the facilitaties is tear and wear, and full of dust and dirt.
horrible wifi, all smoking rooms, old hotel
Hotel a bit outdated but close to night bazaar. Nothing fancy but good value as the jotel is cLose to everything within the 4 gates of inner city just jump in a cab or tuk tuk to go where ever u want to go. I was there just to sleep and the bed sheets were fresh and clean. This is what i am the most concerne d when i travel. Will go back there with no hesitation.
very good swimming pool ,nice front and reception.
old rooms, old beds toilets windows not close pro ply;
poor reception performance and service mind tricky to change lower price room
We have stayed at this hotel 4 times over the past 7yrs. It is a short walk to the markets / night markets and has a lot of great coffee shops and good restaurants in the same street, there is a really flash Italian restaurant at the end of the street that serves fantastic food . We have looked at most of the near by hotels but the Plaza is the best for comfort features and value. Great pool, good breakfast, comfortable rooms. Forget the rest The Plaza is the best!
Having to leave again!
room very spacious..staff very courteous.
hotel very calculative...asked to pay for an accidently broken small glass...did not argue since it was my fault. hotel should just forget about it......for the token 30 baht I was asked to pay.
For those money was very good. Its a little bit old hotel but is on good location nice breakfast big swimming pool wi fi is good and stuff ok.
Was close to shops and market
Ability to book onine at reduced price Substantial free breakfasts Room and bathroom cleanliness Improved internet services (almost an access point every 10 metres) Well mannered staff throughout Distinctive ambiance and calm atmosphere Free bus ride to Central Mall
Darkened access to the pool on the second floor - could trip on steps Dated & broken equipment in the gym area and sauna
acrltually everthing was perfect
just the old sunbeds at the pool.
