Shower needs to be updated
The location of the hotel is really good because the night market and old town can be reached easily by walk. In General the rooms have a good size.
The whole hotel complex need to be renewed and renovated. The staff was slow and not very helpful.
excellent location comfort bed
This is a good hotel & we stay regularly but I must say it is looking abit tired & in need of a makeover although that is reflected in the price. The pool is lovely to have in chiang mai as most hotels if they have pools they are more shaded. I must say though I have seen a big improvement in the friendliness of the staff & the location is perfect
Hotel is a bit tired & in need of a makeover. Wifi in the rooms & public areas is hit & miss. A lack of bed chairs at the pool is not good, if you arrive late you are out of luck to get a lounger & you end up with a mattress on the floor.
Location Swimming pool decent size Staff friendliness
Small gym Few number of sun loungers
Great location, walking distance to night market
Very dirty bathroom. Hard thai beds
Hotel not far from everything. Swimming pool excellent.
Reading the previous review s I thought it was going to be terrible but it was fantastic
The room was lovely and it was quiet. When bulb went it was quickly replaced. Pool was great too...
Loungers around the pool need replacing. Some don't recline any more
Nice Tai Lobby, and Pool, especially good breakfast. Though it is four star hotel, the price was so reasonable that we could stay long. Also the staffs were really kind.
Location Room Price Swimming Pool
Staff weren't particularly helpful for a 5 star hotel. I wanted a double room and stated this in my booking and got two singles, not great when I'm with my husband! The wifi didn't work in my room as I was on the 9th floor.
Big rooms.large pool area.Reception staff.ok location.
Breakfast.lack of sun beds.
The hotel was very good the breakfast was extensive for the money it was excellent i will be back in april
the hotel is a little tired but i do not think you could find a better one for the price
Walking distance of most everything. Nice, large lobby. Very clean. Lots of restaurants close by.
Staff speak very limited English. Beds are very hard. Noisy...can hear voices from rooms adjacent as well as noisy plumbing.
The breakfast food was delicious and had plenty of choices, however the chef when asked to do specific eggs was extremely rude and banged the plate down in front of us. A couple of staff were very sweet and polite, but many seemed stressed which presented an unwelcome feeling. A shame because the hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location.
Close to markets and restaurants, but quiet. Attentive staff
The entrance and foyer are very stylish and pleasant.
Staff at the reception has poor english skills. The room was in dire need to be refreshed, it was very cold on the room and we had to fight to get a blanket!! The clealiness of the room could be improved, breakfast is not included, which is not too bad considering that it is awful
Poor quality breakfast & staff limited English Business centre poorly staffed and only helpful when pressed
Location, free parking. Rooms rare quite bug.
Breakfast could be a bit better.
Not much except the old bath, strong and hot water flow
rude staff; probably for totally under staffed for the size of hotel and amount of guests. breakfast at 1st glance great until realising all is cold. Calling it a conference centre but the business centre ie. Computer, printing etc facilities very poorly. not stating that the water in room is not free although displayed as if. Under impression is an old hotel but the noise level is very high. Can hear neighbours in rooms and bathrooms. Will not recommend hotel at all. 4 stars presumed for it has a pool.
Location and hotel in general.
We were not given a double bed as requested by a twin room.
The breakfast has something for everyone and pretty tastey! The gym is well equipped, pretty old stuff but kept in good order and clean. No noise at night and good location. There is a safe at the reception if you ask.
The restaurant food during the day is okay, not great.
We are frequent guests at this hotel - it's not the best in Chiang Mai, being one of those grande dame holdbacks from the 1980s. Since we hardly spend any time in our room, US$35 a night for a comfortable and safe place to sleep is more than worth it, especially if you want to be five minutes from the Night Bazaar. The coffee shop directly across the street serves killer dishes and desserts.
Skip the breakfast and eat street food outside instead. The towels are fraying and the bathroom taps are as stubborn as old biddies, but work with a little ingenuity.
Nice hotel but in need of maintenance and updating very comfortable bed and clean room
Wifi didn't work at all well and tv reception poor. If you book as 1 person with a guest you need to pay extra for the guest breakfast . Found this disappointing.
Good location, nice pool and the lobby looks amazing, good service
