Even in a Superior room, it was in need of refurbishment e.g shower not working and lights not working. They did react quickly and moved us to another room. This room the wardrobe doors fell off on the next - again they sorted it out OK
A Good all-round hotel with beautiful foyer and a great pool.
When we entered the room we were immediately swamped by mozzies, but the reception staff acted promptly and came to spray. Also, the bathroom was not super clean, especially the grill in the back of it had hairs and dust (yukk), but again, upon reporting this, everything was cleaned promptly. The breakfast is a little dull and tired especially the offerings of bread.
First of all, we saw many bad reviews, so we were prepared but pleasantly surprised. For us the hotel seemed good value and the location was excellent. The rooms and bathrooms are fine and as everybody here claims the lobby is impressive. We stayed on the 9. floor and ad great city views.
Bad wifi unless your in the lobby
The location is close to the night bazzar markets and not to far from the night life but far enough away not to hear it
Only negative was there was there was no sign on the fridge or anything telling you the drinks were not free. Our fridge came with 2 cokes and 2 beers which we thought were complimentary until we checked out and were handed the check for 490 baht.
Everything. Gym was great. Big rooms. Excellent breakfast. Lovely staff.
POOL area was not cleaned from day before at ten am bottles papers left behind toilet very dark
To dark. In all view, Nice location, but need some remodel.
staff is very nice , but need learn more English.
Nothing to answer Every thing was perfect.
The luxury comfort of the whole hotel A good price Good situation near by the night market.
The sauna was out of order which was a shame
The pool was lovely, the gym was well equipped, big rooms, the grand decor in the hotel was breathtaking we loved everything and didnt want to leave!! You have to stay here perfect location for night bizarre restaurants 7/11 opposite and tuk tuks.. 10/10!! We will be back one day
Average wifi. Gym lacks a running machine (although otherwise very well equipped).
Good old-school type hotel. This place has soul.
The additional cost of one bed is too expensive and the additional bed did not arrive on the first night of stay although being paid for. The hotel is full of mosquitos. The mosquitos were even in the rooms we were staying. The furniture in the room were old and dusty.
Location of the hotel is within walking distance from several tourist attractions.
Rubbish breakfast. Free wifi that constantly requires logging in every time.
Employees at the reception were not really capable. Even something simple as extenting our stay seemed too much to ask. Checking in took about 30 minutes..!
Value for money, clean.
Despite the sizeable gym, no running machine (but that's nit-picking). Otherwise does what it says on the tin.
Quiet location but near enough to walk to night markets. Good 'old fashioned' hotel with character and charm (although in a declining area and well past its best). Good breakfast and reliable wifi.
The staff are very nice and helpful.
They put me in a smoking room, even though my booking was for non-smoking so double check before checking into your room
Dated hotel but very economical and you get what you pay for. Nice breakfast with lots of options. Helpful staff but not all of them (it's a big hotel!)
Staff. Location. Room size. Wifi. Nice pool.
The hotel is very old, if you want to charge any device you must go without something else Shower device collapse, lift got stuck a few times, furniture very old Look like maintenance is not a priority here Maybe I just got a bad room because I smoknever again
Not much, there is only 2 plugs in the room
Wi-fi in room didn't work. Room was adequate and what you would expect for the price.
Location. Entrance Foyer, pool & lobby bar all good.
We had to ask to change rooms as first one was full of dead and alive mosquito's. Lots of human hair in the bath drain and pubes along the bath tub. Mould on the tiles and bath curtain. The room we changed to was full of living Mosquitos, not a great room but better than the first one. You get what you pay for!
Walking distance to the night bizarre. This bizarre is a lot better than the Sunday market however do both if you can. Reasonable breakfast selection. Pool area nice.
big room, excellent facilities, good location
restaurent for dinner was terrible and mosquitos everywhere
rooms were great will stay there again but eat out
Wifi is terrible in room
except the wifi in room. We enjoyed everything here
Food - much better to eat outside
Very helpful staff - I'd made a goof-up, but they fixed it. Good people
